I believe the most important issue in my election is ensuring every child receives a quality education from the Oak Grove School district. Oak Groves serves a very diverse student population which requires highly qualified teachers and other educational professionals and adequate funding for program and services needed by all students. Class size reduction, safe and drug free school, visual and performing arts programs, after school sports, Special Education, GATE are some of the programs and services that must be maintained to develop every child’s potential.

If elected, I will continue to advocate for adequate funding for essential programs and services, hire the highest quality teachers, administrators, confidential and classified employees and maintain safe, drug free school environments.
