| Straight Edge - This is where I am gonna talk about straight edge in my life, and how I see it to be. Straight Edge is... A belief for betterness of ones life, through purification. Keeping ones body, and mind clean from anything that can change ones view or lifestyle. Thus meaning, summed up, no sex, no drugs, no smoking, no drinking. To elaborate. No premisquise sex, no sleeping with random partners, as it can make your mental state not well. You can get real confused , the feeling of being used, depression, many things can go wrong, or you can get many diseases or pregnant. You don't want to share that with someone you don't love, with that said it crosses out the premisquise sex. Drugs, I think they speak for themselves. They put you in a state of mind when you don't know whats going on. They are bad for your health, and addictive. and just plain wrong. Best described by the question "has anything you've done made your life any better?" think about it. How does doing drugs make your life better. Sure you might get happy while high. But its not true happiness. Its not free. Therefore you lose money, respect, love and self worth. Thus in my life making drugs a no no. No Smoking. Ick. Just gross. I mean come on. No one wants to kiss a smoker. Ick. Gross taste. Way addictive. I've seen too many people in my life complaining about cigarettes. Gross smell, taste. Not to mention all the toxicants in them, and the filters, etc. No Drinking. Hm. Lots of you enjoy a good drink, sure its natural right, but man do some people not know when to stop. It takes over your mind, making you do things that you just can't control, or even remember doing. I don't like it. Not to mention, most of it tastes gross. Some people take Edge to another step, no caffeine, or tylenol's, sticking to herbal pills, etc. It may not be as quickly effective, but think of how much more your body will love you. The whole label I don't think is needed, but the idea of it all is wonderful. Keep your body pure. Best said by Minor Threat "I don't smoke! I don't drink! I don't fuck!
