Mid-South's Favorite Homemade Biscuits
We spent the night in Corinth, Miss. In the following morning, we asked for a local restaurant for breakfast. We were referred to Abe's Grill. We sat at the only two empty seats at the end of the counter. We asked Abe (pictured above with his wife) if it we could take photos of action at the grill and were told that it would be fine. In fact, he grabbed a large pan filled with the famous biscuits and posed for us.
Overhearing our conversation with the restaurant owner was a customer who came over and introduced himself as the mayor. He invited us on a tour of his town. He led us to its tourist information center where we were well received and showered with brochures of area attractions.
The town of Corinth and Abe's Grill is a "must" for anyone wishing to experience true southern hospitality. Thank you for making us feel welcome.
