G.O.B.A.
- Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure - While riders where away on the bicycling adventure through the heart of Ohio, the Gallipolis Police Explorers were out around the clock on the Gallia County Fair Grounds acting as security for the G.O.B.A. riders vehicles.  The morning the riders returned, Explorers also helped control traffic and point riders in the right direction.
Ralley in the Valley
- Ralley in the Valley is a new annual event to Gallipolis and Gallia County.  Rally in the Valley consists of various activities in the Gallipolis City Park including show organs, visit from the Delta Queen, a teen dance, etc.  Explorers acted as over night security for the organs and other materials that were left there over the nights of the event.
Farm in the City Day
- Explorers performed security in the park for this unique event.
Jail N' Bail
- During Washington Elementary's Spring Carnival events, Explorers were asked to help with the Jail N' Bail activity.  The public would give tickets to an adult advisor at the door of a classroom which was decorated as the "jail".  The person paying the tickets would tell the advisor who they wanted to be put in "jail".  The person paying would then take an Explorer to the person they wanted to "arrest" and the Explorer would handcuff them and take them back to the "jail".  That person could wait for fifteen minutes or pay more tickets to get out of "jail".

Other Activities - Explorers also provided security at the City Park for a Bible School, and annually help with the 4th of July activities and all parades.
