 Copy from the cover of Megaman Xtreme 2, sketch of Zero took approximately 20 minutes. To my dismay, "The Sketchbook" is intimidating. Drawing on scrap papers out of the recycling bin -- suddenly allowed to make mistakes.  Cover of Megaman Zero roughly 2 hours. Quote: "Art is knowing what mistakes to keep."  Cover of Metroid Fusion, about 1 hour, 45 minutes. I used to have a moral objection copying others art. So I copy strictly for fun. Next, real people.  Copy from inside of instruction manual of Metroid II, 2 hours, 15 minutes. My first computer "brush up". Four spots had to be perfectly white, but the eraser smudged those spots since they were smaller than the eraser. No other computer modifying, though -- it'd be cheating. |
