| Reubus Hagrid the keeper of keys and grounds at Hogwarts, could be considered, in modern terms, a giant. He has a wild overgrown beard and hair, and his eyes are dark and glittering. Despite his rugged appearance, he is probably one of the kindest people at Hogwarts. Expelled in his third year, he has his wand concealed in a flowery pink umbrella. His giant boarhound, Fang, looks fierce, but is a real coward. |
| Albus Dumbledore is the current headmaster of Hogwarts. He is "considered by many the greatest wizard of modern times" [Book 1, pg 102]. He is a very old wizard, probably in his late 80s or early 90s and he has a long silvery beard, a very crooked noise and he always wears half moon specticles. Dumbledore is a very wise man and he is also very fond of Harry, who he often secretly helps to accomplish his adventures. |

| Professor Minerva McGonagall is the Transfiguration teacher and Deputy Headmistress at Hogwarts. She heads the Gryffindor house and is very strict, especially when it comes to homework and discipline. She has pretty black hair and wears square spectacles around her eyes. Professor McGonagall possesses a very rare power that enables her to turn into a tawny cat, making her an Animagus. |
