| Kickapoo Valley Animal Rescue and Refuge |
| We are in the process of getting all the paperwork in to be certified a non-profit organization. This will probably be a few weeks or months down the road. But we are on our way. Anyone wishing to donate the the refuge can do so by sending their donations to Kickapoo Valley Animal Rescue 310 Dishman Rd., Canmer, Ky 42722. All donations will go to the the rescue. We receive no pay or any profit in no way from this refuge. Our reward is see these animals have a chance at life, that they would not have had if we didn't take them. Please spread the word about our refuge. |
| PROJECTS WE ARE TRYING TO FUND |
| BARN PROJECT #1 We are in need of putting up a walk through barn with a couple of stalls. We will have a special needs horse arriving within the next month. He can not be around or feed hay. He also can't be in a totally closed in barn. We only have one barn at this time, so this is a major have to get done. Please if you can donate to this project, send the donation to the address above, and specify for barn project #1. Projected cost: $1500.00 |
| FENCE PROJECT #2 Along with getting the barn up we need to get up new fencing around the new barn area. Projected cost: $375.00 |
| PROJECT FEED We are always in need of donations to supply feed, hay and straw for bedding. Projected Monthly Cost: $115.00 this is with what we have now. |
| VET CHECKS AND WORMING The Vet checks are done every 6 months, unless a need arrises to have him out sooner. We worm every 3 months. Projected six month cost: $100.00 not including special test or other runs. |
