In the event that your landline phone is out of service or a burglar cuts the telephone wire, it serves as a back up communication. This allows you to and your PowerMax Plus to communicate though the cellular phone or through SMS Messaging.

This allows you to listen to sounds within the premises or to initiate a two-way voice conversation with a person left within the premises.
