New residential and commercial developments are being constructed at a steady rate, and we play an active part in this process. We encourage all prospective Developers, Builders, Contractors and House Owners, to contact us early in the planning process so that we can assist in the smooth development of the projects. We engage in active forward planning and development control for the mutual benefit of the island and its residents, utilizing state-of-the-art Geographic Information System tools for planning and information/statistical mapping.
Our Building Inspectors are here to assist you in ensuring that your construction project adheres to the requirements and regulations, at various stages of construction. We wish to remind the building professionals and the general public, that it is a requirement to have periodic inspection during construction, and that contact should be made at least 48 hours before the planned inspection.
Our Enviromental Unit monitors the Health of the Environment and we wish to work with you to ensure that the Enviroment is maintained in a sustainable way.
