ABOUT PPP POMERANIANS
Pomeranians are DEFINITELY the "ESSENCE OF MAGICAL CHARM"!  They are "A"dorable, "B"eautiful, "C"lever, "D"elightful, "E"nergetic, "F"unny, "G"orgeous, "H"appy-go-lucky and right on up the alphabet to "Z"est for life!  AND, like potato chips - you can't have JUST ONE!

We acquired our first Pom approximately 20 years ago when Santa Claus himself brought a precious little orange sable puppy to our home Christmas Eve and placed him in our daughter's cupped hands.  What an unforgettable moment!  He was appropriately named "St. Nicholas" and how we adored our beautiful Nicky!  A few years later we had to have a companion for him, so little Cricket entered our lives to be Nicky's soul-mate for many years. Cricket was so named for even as a small pup, she could "spring-board" jump from the floor to my husband's waist with absolutely no effort!  And, this she would do every time she knew I was baking her favorite oatmeal cookies!  Nicky lived to be 18 years old and we lost Cricket at age 13.

Preparing ourselves for that time, a few years before we purchased another beautiful orange sable male who later became our fantastic foundation male - "Peter Pan's Smudgy Shadow".  We decided on "Peter Pan" as our kennel name because we believe that if you have Pomeranians, just like Peter Pan, you NEVER grow up!  Shortly after getting Smudge, our daughter, who was living in Dallas, talked to Beverly Henry after learning she had two "Prince Charming" granddaughters (Chestara's Forever Amber and Chestara's Sheschiefly Tinker) which she graciously let us purchase.

"Amber" (major pointed), became the mother of my first home-bred, breeder/owner handled INT'L/AM CHAMPION PPP AMBER'S THREZA LUCKY CHARM; and Ch. Chestara's Sheschiefly Tinker (whom I finished within 4 months of Lucky's championship) is the mother of my second home-bred, breeder/owner handled male, INT'L/AM CHAMPION PPP GWINMYSTIC MOON ROCKET.  On the day he earned his championship, Rocky also won BEST OF BREED and then went on to win GROUP "I"!!  What a thrilling day!!  All three of these dogs finished with 4 majors and within 9 months of each other.

To backup a bit, Beverly invited me to a couple of shows in which she was showing, KNOWING that I would "get the bug"!  The first show I entered I showed Smudgy.  Both of us were clueless as to what and how to "do it", but Smudge was the ideal partner for a first timer to handle and did everything he was supposed to do perfectly AND even without bait!  (I was clueless on that one, too!)  He not only won his class, but won a Major!  Of course, with that kind of a beginning, I WAS hooked.  Unfortunately, Smudgy injured his back and his show career came to a screeching halt.  I showed my adorable Amber a few times, but she is one of those very special dogs who is "The Queen" - she doesn't DO grass and certainly has a mind of her own about what she DOES do!  So I let her be happy just being her adorable self!  I've been very fortunate in breeding Lucky (cream) and Rocky (org/sbl) who have been extremely prolific in our breeding program with gorgeous "look-alike" puppies.

All my dogs are are very precious to me and live in the house with us.  They have their own doors to come and go and are very mannerly and well behaved.  I would like to thank all my good "Pom" friends who have helped me "learn the ropes" for their support and encouragement. Its very nice to know that we can look past the fun of competition to enjoy and cherish our friendships.  A special thanks to my very good friend, Beverly Henry, without whose expertise this website would not exist!

For personal reasons, I have sadly found it necessary to retire as a breeder of quality Pomeranians. All dogs are for sale except for some personal favorites and my seniors that will have a home with me for life. Please email me if you are in the market for a quality, healthy pet bred from show stock.
