Foundation. October 24, 2003

Dayton Gym Club

(Title sequence, Matt Stryker and Chad Collyer are in the ring. "Sad But True" hits and Kevin Stone and Joey Sprinkers make thier way out.)

Tara: Welcome everyone to FPPVW Foundation. We're back here at the FPPVW Arena in downtown Dayton.

Dick: Kevin and Joey are out here tonight to hopefully redeem themselves after last weeks singles losses to these two newcomers.

Tara: Nykk was not happy last week.

Matt Stryker and Chad Collyer vs. Kevin Stone and Joey Sprinklers

Finish: Joey hits Da Sprinklinator on Matt, Chad barely makes the save and hits a Spinning DDT. Kevin runs into the ring and is caught with the Stryker Driver from Matt. Chad covers Joey, Matt covers Kevin, even though Matt and Joey are the legal men. The ref counts anyway and awards the match to Matt and Chad.

Winners: Matt Stryker and Chad Collyer by pin. Match Rating: 69

Dick: More and more the quality of the referee seems to go out the window once a tag match starts, neither one of the covers should have been legal.

Tara: But the ref's word is law around here.

Dick: How's Nykk going to react to this?

(Backstage, Kara Draxus walks up to Zac Hensley)

Zac: Can I help you?

Kara: Maybe you can, maybe you can't. I just wanted to ask, has anyone ever told you I even work here?

Zac: (Looking confused) Of course you work here, everyone here's seen you wrestle.

Kara: Really now? Everyone knows I wrestle for FPPVW?

Zac: Well, yeah, I mean how can anyone miss that with how many matches you've had with Kai...

Kara: Ha! (she checks her watch) Her name came up in twenty seconds.

Zac: Wha...

Kara: I've been in FPPVW as long as anyone, yet last week Kai gets a tribute video and I'm not even on the show. I'm not even mentioned. Do you happen to remember the last match I was in on television?

Zac: It was...

Kara: Homecoming Hell, when Erica Porter and I DEFEATED Kai and Naomi Leach. Remember the last singles match between me and Kai?

Zac: (nods)

Kara: Who won that one?

Zac: You did.

Kara: Right, so where the hell's my video? Where's the Draxus appreciation? What kind of sport is this where the most successful performance is passed over? What kind of industry is it where the MVP gets forgotten for the person she beat twice in thier last two meetings?

Zac: Well I don...

Kara: You don't know. Great. Well maybe you can look into that for me?

Zac: Maybe I can. I'll see what I can do.

Kara: Good then. (She forces a smile for a second then turns and walks away)

Segment Rating: 76

(Commercial Break)

(In the locker room, Alan Mayse is lacing his boots when Fox walks in.)

Alan: Well hello there, fancy meeting you when you aren't booked.

Fox: I had a quick meeting with Jon.

Alan: Oh really, what about?

Fox: Nothing big.

Alan: Aw, isn't there another title match for you anytime soon?

Fox: Is there something you want to say to my face?

Alan: I think it's already been said, but if you want it man to man here it is. I know what's going on. I know you're Nykk's lackey now. I know you're in with the Heel Stable, and it's pointless to deny it. We both know that's why Nykk got you the win against me.

Fox: I never asked for anyone's help, and the day I need his help to get a pin on plain vanilla is the day...

Alan: You think you can beat me in a fair fight?

Fox: Care to find out?

(They almost come to blows as Jon Z happens by.)

Jon: Gentlemen...something wrong?

Alan: Nothing at all, just getting ready for my match.

Jon: Good, good. Anything else you want to talk about Fox? Sorry to call you in when you had the night off.

Fox: I think I'm good. (He locks eyes with Alan before walking away.)

Segment Rating: 70

(Commercial Break)

(Austin Lee is in the ring when Nine Inch Nails' "Dead Souls" hits and Paul London makes his way to the ring)

Tara: Here we are, the FPPVW debut of Paul London.

Rick: This is a serious blue chipper, he's already made an appearance on SmackDown, and now he's right here on FPPVW Foundation.

Paul London vs. Austin Lee

Finish: Paul wins easily with the "London Calling"

Winner: Paul London by pin Match Rating: 72

(Commercial Break)

("Soul Creation" hits and Cynric makes his way to the ring.)

Dick: Welcome back to Foundation, we're joined at the broadcast position by FPPVW owner and chairman Jon Z. Welcome home I guess is the appropriate greeting.

Jon: Good to be back out here, I wish I could make it to ringside more often, I miss being this close to the action.

Tara: You were saying during the break that you had an announcement.

Jon: That's right, I want to announce next week we will be having a rematch between Alan Mayse and Ronin Fox. These two need to settle thier differences, and what better place for it than in the middle of the ring. This time, there's no title match on the line, and there will be no outside interferance. I will be there personally, and anyone who tries to affect the outcome of this match will be suspended.

("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: I'm sure Alan would be happy to hear that, but for now he better be focussed on Cynric.

Segment Rating: 67

Alan Mayse vs. Cynric

Finish: Cynric hits a flurry of kicks that back Alan into the corner. He sets up for the Lift-Off, but Alan ducks and rolls and Cynric launches his knee into the turnbuckle. He turns around and is caught with a boot to the stomach and a tiger bomb for the pin.

Winner: Alan Mayse by pin. Match Rating: 61

Jon: Decisive victory for Alan Mayse, but will he fare as well next week when he faces Fox?

Dick: He's been waiting for the opporotunity since he lost his title shot two weeks ago, this time it'll be about pride.

Tara: We'll see you next week, for Jon Z and Dick Broccoli this is Tara Fisher, good night.
