("Prayer" opening, switching over to Jon Z in his office. Nykk walks in.)
Jon: You know how to knock?
Nykk: Let's skip the plesentries, when's my rematch?
Jon: Rematch?
Nykk: Yes, when's my damn rematch for the FPPVW title? It's been over a week and I haven't heard a thing.
Jon: There's no rematch scheduled.
Nykk: Then when will you schedule it?
Jon: I don't know if that's warrented.
Nykk: What the hell are you talking about, that's my title, and I deserve a chance to get it back.
Jon: Look, Nykk. It's 2004 now, things are changing. We're going to prime time soon, and I have to make a lot of decisions. One of which is that our first major show of the year, we should have a fresh main event. A new challenger, not someone who's wrestled for the belt all through last year. I have to pick someone new and exciting. As for your shot. Maybe next month. Now would you kindly get the hell out of my office so I can get some work done? I do believe you have a match tonight to prepare for.
(Nykk takes a few steps to the door and looks back.)
Nykk: You're giving it to him, aren't you. I can't believe you're actually considering it.
Jon: What?
Nykk: You're going to give Super Crazy a damn title shot after only one match. You're making a huge mistake.
Jon: My choice of matches are not for you to judge, they are for the fans, now again, get out of my office.
Nykk: Just think about it a little bit, okay. You built up FPPVW with a certain group of hard workers. It all comes down to this, who did you make? You sure didn't make Super Crazy.
(Nykk walks out of the room as "Soul Creation" hits Cynric makes his way to the ring.)
Tara: Welcome everyone to FPPVW Foundation, here in the packed FPPVW Arena in Downtown Dayton Ohio. Happy New Year, I'm Tara Fisher.
Dick: And I'm Dick Broccoli. Our champion, Alan Mayse is set to defend the FPPVW title at Burn it up in nine days, but who will it be against? The news might break tonight, we'll keep you posted.
("Sad But True" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)
Cynric vs. Kevin Stone
(Cynric keeps the fight at a steady pace, trying to wear down Kevin with a series of kicks and trips. He presses the advantage once Kevin is down, hitting a series of elbow and leg drops.)
(Kevin rolls out onto the apron, getting frustrated. When Cynric tries to grab him, Kevin hits a shoulder block to the midsection and tries to suplex Cynric out of the ring. Cynric blocks and brings Kevin inside.)
(Cynric climbs the ropes and goes for the Savage Elbow, but Kevin moves out of the way and gets up on a knee. He hits the spear when Cynric stands, and covers, putting his feet on the ropes and getting a three count.)
Winner: Kevin Stone by pin.
(Backstage, Alan Mayse is walking toward Jon Z's office. Nykk steps up to him, Alan taking a quick look around to make sure he's not being ambused.)
Nykk: Easy there, big man. Just want to chat.
Alan: About what?
Nykk: Just wondering if you have a clue who Jon's going to book you against at Burn It Up next week. I already gathered I'm out for now.
Alan: Well isn't that a damn shame. I don't know who I'm facing, that's what I'm going to talk to Jon about.
Nykk: Well tred lightly, I think I know where this is going.
Alan: (taking a step closer to the office door.) And why do I have to be careful.
Nykk: You saw Foundation last week? You saw who took Fox down a peg? You be careful or you'll end up in the ring with him, and he'll take the damn title over the border where we'll never see it again.
Alan: You think I can't take care of Super Crazy?
Nykk: Alan, Alan, no offense. You're a boring wrestler, you're not in the same league, not even in the same world as Super Crazy. He'll pull out moves you've never even heard the names of, and you'll just stand there like a lump not knowing what to do about so many interesting things going on around you. If I were you, I'd go beg Jon Z to book you against the dullest most plain vanilla wrestler on the roster, besides you.
(Nykk walks away, Alan watching him and backing into Jon's office.)
Alan: Jon...I got something to prove.
(Commercial Break)
("Lets All Go to the Lobby" hits and Concession Boy III makes his way to the ring, selling Super Crazy "Insane Luchadore" t shirts. Austin Lee is warming up in the ring.)
Tara: Welcome back, Dayton, we're set for action here, but has it sunken into this third Concession Boy just what he's gotten himself into working for FPPVW?
Dick: Well he's good at moving the merchandise and snacks. He could sell cotton candy to a diabetic, but I don't know if he's ready for the likes of Austin Lee?
Tara: What, he doesn't like candy?
Austin Lee vs. Concession Boy III
(Concession Boy starts out by throwing his tray of t shirts down and rushing Austin with a hard clothesline. Austin is surprised and seems more concered with getting distance between them than attacking, not expecting Concession Boy III to be so aggressive.)
Tara: Woah, CB the 3 isn't backing down.
(CB3 tries for a hurricanrana, but Austin turns it into a powerbomb and covers for a two count.)
(Austin pulls CB3 up and signals for the Degenerate Driver, but CB3 scrambles away, hitting the ropes and going for a dropkick. Austin sidesteps the dropkick and grabs CB3's legs, applying the Crimson Cloverleaf. Concession Boy III taps out.
Winner: Austin Lee by submission.
Dick: Concession Boy III has just sold out for the day, he went to the tray, but it was empty.
Tara: Way to pick a metaphor and stretch.
Dick: Thank you. Coming up next, we have a match that's been brewing since Darkest Night. Erica Porter went a little nuts after being eliminated from the Ladies FPPVW Championship Tournament, so much that she inserted herself forcably into the finals of the match, taking shots at both Naomi Leach and Kai Kitta.
(Footage of Erica Porter's interfierance is shown.)
(Erica Porter warms up in the ring as "Social" hits and Naomi Leach makes her way to the ring.)
Naomi Leach vs. Erica Porter
Ladies FPPVW Championship Match
(Naomi controls the pace of the match with a string of ground based maneuvers, trying to ground and stretch Erica. Erica escapes by getting to the ropes and blindsiding Naomi with a back elbow to the face. She starts choking Naomi, the ref separating them. When the ref checks on Naomi, Erica slides out of the ring and looks under the apron, finding a set of brass knuckles. She climbs in the ring as Kai Kitta runs to ringside. Kai jumps up on the apron, grabs Erica's arm, and ducks a right hand. She holds on to Erica's right arm, the knuckles on her right hand, and drops to the floor. As Erica's arm connects with the ropes, she drops the knuckles, and when she starts arguing with Kai, Naomi recovers enough to hit a german suplex, bridging into a three count.
Winner: Naomi Leach by pin.
Tara: Looks like Kai is looking out for the champion here tonight, not letting Erica porter steal the title.
Dick: Kai and Naomi have earned a lot of respect for each other from the look of it, but even so, can it last? It's only a matter of time until Kai wants another shot at that belt.
Tara: I'm sure she already does, he came within a hair of winning it at Darkest Night more than once. If not for the interfierance of Erica Porter, maybe she would have gone home with the belt already.
Dick: Perhaps tonight was less an act of respect, and more payback for Erica Porter. We've got to take one last commercial break, stay with us.
(Commercial Break)
("Show Me How to Live" hits and J.R. Ryder makes his way to the ring.)
Dick: This man opened up Darkest Night with a hard fought win over CM Punk, it was his first contest here. Now he's set to prove himself against a former champion.
("My Way" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring. He has a microphone.)
Tara: Crap.
Nykk: Damn, feels like forever since I've had a squash match on Foundation. In fact, seems like forever since I've had any kind of match on this show. You miss me?
(The crowd voices it's opinion, most of which is sloppily edited out.)
Nykk: Well I missed you too. So who's my opponent tonight, someone named J.R.? You don't look fat enough to be a J.R. how many wrestling moves can you name? If it's over two, you've gotta change your name to something else.
Dick: He actually has a point there.
Tara: Oh like you do better, I'm the one the crowd relys on for play-by-play.
Nykk: So you're the guy who beat the jerkoff with the huge cobra logo tatoo on his shoulder, right? Well kid, you ain't no Sgt. Slaughter...but...well, that's bad enough.
Dick: I don't know who to say ouch on behalf of, Slaughter or Ryder.
J.R. Ryder vs. Nykk
(Ryder and Nykk lock up, Ryder tries for a vertical suplex, but Nykk blocks. Nykk lifts Ryder up and drops him stomach first on the top rope, then brings him down to the mat with a hard chop to the back of the neck. Nykk puts on a single leg boston crab.)
Dick: He's starting to weaken the legs of Ryder already, possibly getting ready for the Bellbrookville Ceadarleaf.
(Ryder tries to turn around to face the ropes, but Nykk holds him still. Finally Ryder is able to flip over and kick Nykk until he releases the hold. Ryder rolls back to his feet and charges with a clothesline that sends Nykk to the floor.)
(The ref starts the count, Nykk taking his time, pacing around the ring, sliding in at eight.)
Tara: I think Nykk might have been taking Ryder too lightly, but he seems more focussed now.
Dick: You never want to look past any opponent, but Ryder might have missed an opporotunity there. Now he's already shown Nykk that he's not a pushover, so Nykk is going to step up his game. If Ryder had played possum for a little while longer, he might have been able to pull off a surprise win, but sending Nykk out of the ring game him time to regroup and plan.
(Ryder and Nykk lock up again, Nykk sneaks a thumb to the eye. The ref questions Nykk, but doesn't call it. Ryder throws a right hand, Nykk easily ducks under and back, hitting a back suplex for a two count.)
(Nykk gets frustrated, and starts stomping Ryder. He backs off and lets Ryder get to his feet, then charges to try and hit a splash in the corner. Ryder moves and Nykk hits the corner himself, Ryder taking the opporotunity to hit a hard DDT. Nykk lays still, aparently knocked out. Ryder climbs the turnbuckles and goes for the shooting star press. Nykk rolls out of the way and moments after Ryder hits the mat, Nykk locks on the Bellbrookville Ceadarleaf. Ryder taps out.
Winner: Nykk by submisssion.
Dick: What did I tell you? Nykk played possum himself and suckered Ryder right into a submission. That's why you never want to tip your hand to this guy, he's progressing into a master strategist.
Tara: Well I am impressed he was able to score the victory without the help of the Heel Stable at ringside. Maybe there's something to this guy after all.
Dick: That wraps it up for this week, for Tara Fisher, I'm Dick Broccoli. See you next week. Good night, Dayton.
