("Prayer" opening, Jon Z makes his way to the ring as the song plays. There is a large signboard and a small table in the ring both covered by sheets.)
Tara: Welcome to Foundation, Jon Z is out here to start us off.
Dick: He was thrown for a loop last week, The Pyro Twins suprised the FPPVW Owner with thier new FPPVW Tag Team Championships.
Tara: That was some nerve shown by the Heel Stable, to just invent a title and act so proud of it.
Dick: Invent? They had to battle the Legion of Doom for those titles, and that was just the first round. I heard they beat the Hart Foundation the night before to qualify.
Tara: Oh just shut the hell up.
Jon: Ladies and Gentlemen, and the rest of you here in Dayton, you know who you are.
Dick: Now how can Jon get away with saying something like that when Nykk gets booed out of the building for telling the truth?
Jon: I'm sure you all saw last week, as The Pyro Twins showed you what they did on vacation. After long talks with the legal department, I have come to a series of conclusions. First, unfortunately, the proper paperwork has been filled out and unless The Pyro Twins violate thier contracts I cannot vacate the FPPVW Tag Team Championships.
Dick: Damn right, he has to follow his own rules.
Tara: This is rediculous, they didn't do anything to earn those belts.
Jon: Second conclusion, the contract for the Tag Team Title tournament the Pyro twins won left out one very important word. The word "exclusive."
(He uncovers the table, revealing two title belts.)
Jon: These are the Ohio Tag Team Championships, and they will be crowned right here in FPPVW!
Dick: What? He can't do that!
Tara: Why not? If the FPPVW Tag Team Championships the Pyro Twins carry weren't termed as "exclusive" championships, then there's nothing keeping Jon Z from creating his own title.
Dick: But who're going to be the poor idiots who try and steal the Pyro Twin's spotlight.
(Jon reaches to uncover the signboard, but he's interrupted when "Fuel" hits and the Pyro Twins walk toward the ring.)
Jay: If you think you can just push us and our title aside, then you better get back to reading those contracts you signed. You won't cheapen our belts by just making another title and ignoring ours!
Jon: I have no intention of ignoring your titles. Those belts are going to be defended in an FPPVW ring.
Dusty: Damn right.
Jon: At least once.
Dusty: Once? What the hell are you talking about?
Jon: I'm going to schedule your first title defense right now, but it won't be tonight, or next week, or even next month.
(The Pyro Twins look confused.)
Jon: Your first title defense will take place at Montgomery County Fairgrounds, May 15, FPPVW's WrestlingRevolution.
Dick: That's over two months!
Jon: In the meantime, the rest of the tag team division will be a little busy.
(Jon finally uncovers the signboard, reavealing the brackets for an eight team double elimination tournament.)
Jon: The Ohio Tag Team Championship tournament, eight teams, two chances apiece, the winner will be crowned at FPPVW Countdown, and they will go on to unify thier new belts, with the "Rio" FPPVW Tag Team Championships. Jay, Dusty, enjoy your gold, and enjoy the show.
("Prayer" hits again. The camera goes to Dick and Tara at ringside.)
Tara: Thank you for joining us on Foundation, this is Tara Fisher.
Dick: And I'm Dick Broccoli, and I'm just plain disgusted that Jon is trying to tarnish the lineage of the FPPVW Tag Team Championships.
Tara: Lineage?
Dick: Not that there won't be some good matches from the look of it, I'm looking at the brackets now, wait...this is starting tonight? Two of these matches are happening right here this week on Foundation!
Tara: Indeed, the new team of Chris Styles and Johnny Kashmere will take on our very own "Cabana Boys" of Colt Cabana and Rico Casanova. Later tonight The Eccentrics try and stake thier claim in a match against Austin Lee and Cody Hawk.
Dick: Next week will be off the hook as well, The Concession Boyz, Sr. and the third will take on Los Villanos, and Ronin Fox will team with his brother Cynric, but it looks like the other team in that equation hasn't been completed.
("Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers makes his way to the ring.)
Tara: Joey is on a roll here lately.
Dick: No doubt, it seems like he's only one key win away from being truely established in FPPVW and the wrestling world.
("Soul Creation" hits and Cynric makes his way to the ring.)
Joey Sprinklers vs. Cynric
(Joey tries for Da Sprinklinator, but Cynric blocks and pushes Joey into the corner, Cynric charges for the Lift Off, but Joey rolls away. Cynric jumps up to aviod crashing into the turnbuckles and ends up landing on the second rope. Joey tries for a back suplex off the ropes, Cynric knocking him back with a quick elbow. Quickly, Cynric climbs to the top and jumps with a Savage style elbow drop, getting the three count.)
Winner: Cynric by pin
Tara: Cynric with a kick ass elbow drop.
Dick: Even I dig that.
Tara: He's keeping his momentum on his way into the FPPVW Tag Team Tournament, which will begin right after this commercial, stay with us.
(Commercial break)
("One Step Closer" hits and Chris Stylez and Johnny Kashmere make thier way to the ring.)
Tara: Here we go, the first match of the latest FPPVW tournament. If I understand this right, this is a special double elimination affair. The losers of the first round matches will face eachother in a four way dance, the winner of that match will face the two losing teams of the second round in a three way dance. Finally the winner of that match takes on the loser of the third round, the two brackets will meet and decide the new champions at FPPVW Countdown, on April 17.
Dick: Now that you've confused everyone...
("Copa Cabana" hits and the Cabana Boyz make thier way to the ring.)
(Chris Styles gets the hot tag and takes Cabana and Casanova out with clotheslines, hiptosses and two fast scoop slams. Johnny hits a spear on Casanova and they both roll out of the ring, as Chris Stylez hits the Stylish Neckbreaker for the three count.)
Winner: Chris Styles and Johnny Kashmere.
(Backstage, Joey Sprinklers walks into Jon Z's office.)
Jon: Ah, thank you for coming in. Wanted to let you know, I did study some of the contracts your boss put in that pile, I know there was one that indicated that any title tournament I put together this year has to have a Heel Stable representative.
Joey: Okay...Well now that Simon's gone and all and Swinger's on his own, what the hell are you gonna do? There's no tag teams left in the Heel Stable besides the one that's already got a title, so I guess you just gotta drop this whole tournament idea.
Jon: Well, not quite. I wish you luck.
Joey: Luck in what?
Jon: In the tournament. You're in.
Joey: I'm in? Whaddya mean by that? Who's my partner?
Jon: He's going to be in the ring next, we'll see how he goes agaisnt one of your old friends. Go down and say hi if you want, you should probably talk some strategy or something. Now, I have a lot of work to do, so get out of my office.
(Joey looks suspiciously at Jon and leaves the room.)
(Commercial break)
("Lets All Go to the Lobby" hits and Concession Boy III makes his way to the ring.)
Tara: Welcome back to Foundation, Concession Boy III aka Pretzelhopper is out here. We're about to find out who's going to be teaming with Joey Sprinklers next week against Ronin Fox and Cynric.
Joey: Let's get this over with.
Dick: Thanks for joining us here at ringside, Joey. What's wrong with you, Tara? You didn't welcome our guest.
Joey: Don't worry about the manners, I'm just here to see what I'm working with.
(The Aki Mann theme hits.)
Joey: You've got to be f***ing sh***ing me!
Concession Boy III vs. Aki Mann
(Aki puts on the Aki Armbar, but Concession Boy makes it to the ropes. Aki gets frustrated as he's made to break the hold. He yells at the ref about impeding justice.)
Joey: What the hell, this is just embarassing.
(Joey gets up on the apron to yell at Aki to focus on the match. Aki greets him with a heroic pose and offer of a handshake, giving Concession Boy III the chance to spin Aki around and hit the Dr. Bob Beer Bomb for the three count.)
Winner: Concession Boy III by pin.
(Aki Mann runs off through the crowd, Concession Boy celebrates and leaves the ring. Joey just stares blankly at where the pinfall took place.
Tara: Well, I hope someone comes to collect Joey, I think he's in shock.
(The Pyro Twins are packing things up in the Heel Stable locker room, putting the title belts in thier bags.)
Dusty: I've been thinking.
Jay: What?
Dusty: Did you see the brackets? Do you realize theres a chance we're going to be stuck in the ring with the Eccentrics again?
Jay: Damn, I'm sick of those two.
Dusty: My thoughts exactly, and you know that's what Jon has in mind, he's always had some weird obsession with pitting us against those losers.
Jay: Almost a year in this company and he's keeping us stuck in place, we finally rise above the rest of the promotion and he tries to push everything up around us. Well the least we can do is try and get some fresh faces in the ring with us.
Dusty: We can only hope.
Jay: Oh, is hope neccessary? (He laughs)
(Commercial Break)
(A video is shown containing clips of Alan Mayse losing then reclaiming the FPPVW Championship.)
Tara: Alan Mayse, the first and only multi FPPVW Championship winner, and he's planning to hold onto the belt for a long time to come.
Dick: Our new champion is looking forward as much as everyone else is to WrestlingRevolution this May, set to be our biggest event to date as we celebrate one year of FPPVW. Whether he's the champion then or not, we'll know this month who will be challenging for the gold.
Tara: FPPVW Gauntlet, March 13, will feature the first ever four corners guantlet match. Twenty men, four teams, but only one winner. For more information, please check out PPVrenegade.com in the coming weeks for a description of the rules and a list of the participants as they are announced.
("My Way" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)
Tara: What the...
Dick: I don't see it on my format sheet either, but who cares, the leader of the Heel Stable is on his way out.
Tara: Just don't let him...
(Nykk picks up a microphone.)
Tara: Crap.
Nykk: So...Ronin Fox wants a match?
Tara: That's true, Fox was here last week asking for a match against Nykk at Guantlet.
Nykk: So Jon wants to give it to him? Oh, but he wants it to be something "special"? Well it might go over the heads of the people in this little pissant town, but every time I step into the ring, it's something special!
Dick: You can't argue with that, he's shown his skill well here in FPPVW.
Nykk: I was thinking about it though, while I was looking through some of my old tapes. Maybe, Jon's right.
Tara: Did Nykk just say what I think I just heard?
Dick: Are you trying to say Jon isn't right? He's the boss you know, I'll tell him you said that.
Nykk: If he wants me to step into the ring with Fox again, we have to make sure we don't just give out the same match as before. We have to watch ourselves and make sure we're not being too redundant...that's repetative for you Dayton fans.
Tara: Well thank you for that.
Nykk: There is one kind of match I think can make sure of that for us. A match of endings, of last resorts. You may have heard that only two things come from Texas, but there is actually something worthwhile they gave us too. The Texas Death Match.
Dick: Woah! Now he's talking serious.
Nykk: No steel cage, no table breakings, no climb up a ladder can surpass two men fighting it out until one simply can't...and I look forward to seeing Fox like that, if he's brave enough to try me.
(He drops the mic and leaves the ring.)
Tara: A Texas Death Match? That would be a first for us here in FPPVW, but is it somewhere we really want to go?
Dick: Sometimes you just have to push farther than the other guy is willing to go. I think Nykk is ready for a match like this, but I don't think Fox was expecting anything like what Nykk is bringing up.
(Austin Lee walks into a locker room, Cody Hawk is lacing his boots.)
Austin: Yo, you ready for this?
Cody: Ready as I can be, just don't worry, gold is practically in my blood. I won't let us down.
Austin: I'm not worried, just as long as you know enough to listen to my strategy.
Cody: Woah, woah, who put you in charge of the game plan? I've been watching these two idiots for awhile, I know just how to put them away.
Austin: Hey, I'm not getting off to a slow start here, I want to begin and end this tournament in the winner's bracket, and I'm not going to let you screw that up.
Cody: Me screw that up? I'm not the one who's career highlight last year was scratching your ass on Halloween!
Austin: Don't make me tear you down right here, I need your damn body on the apron while I win this match, otherwise I won't be a tag team.
Cody: Oh is that how it works? You want to win this match for us? Be my freaking guest.
(They stare eachother down.)
Tara: Austin Lee and Cody Hawk take on the Eccentrics right after our last commercial break, stay with us.
p
(Commercial Break)
(Pinky walks out of the Eccentric's locker room, Zac Hensley is standing by the door.)
Zac: Pinky, your team is about to enter thier first match in the new tag team tournament, do you feel they're ready for thier match tonight.
Pinky: No question, they just stretched and got into those weird wrestling outfits of thiers, I don't think they need to do anything else.
Zac: Well, have they been able to put together a strategy to take on Austin and Cody?
Pinky: Austin? I thought he worked for that other company, you know, the big one?
Zac: No, I mean Austin Lee.
Pinky: Austin Lee...Austin...Lee...Hmmm
Zac: You don't know him?
Pinky: Does he cook chicken? I love that famous recipe.
Zac: I had more questions, but I think I'll just back away. Let's send it back to ringside, Tara?
Tara: Thank you for that...uh...insightful interview.
("The Way I Am" hits and Austin Lee makes his way to the ring.)
Dick: Well it's come to this, the second of the first round matches in the FPPVW Tag Team Tournament. Chris Stylez and Johnny Kashmere have already advanced, and they're going to face the winners of the Concession Boys vs. Los Villanos. This match will decide who will face the winners of the match between Ronin Fox and Cynric against the pieced together team of Joey Sprinklers and Aki Mann.
Tara: Remember, this is double elimination. The losers of this match will have the chance to work thier way back into contention. Colt Cabana and Rico Cassanova have already been slotted in the four way dance that will take place at Gauntlet to begin the lower bracket of the tournament.
("Follow" hits and Cody Hawk makes his way to the ring.)
Tara: Cody and Austin not showing any real team unity here, making separate entrances.
Dick: They can still pull it together, entrances won't win you a match, but teamwork can.
("Pajamarama" hits and The Eccentrics make thier way to the ring, accompanied by Pinky.)
Austin Lee and Cody Hawk vs. The Eccentrics
(Austin tries to last the entire match, but gets sickened by the constant advances from Cheesecake. He finally hits a powerbomb on Cheesecake for a two count, then tags Cody.)
Tara: Wasn't expecting a tag after the speech Austin made in the back, but I guess Austin just wants some distance from his opponent, who's developed a strange liking for him.
Dick: Well, for Cheesecake that's not that strange, it happens almost every match.
(Cody locks up with Cheesecake, Cheesecake going behind for a waistlock, holding it for a bit too long before Cody makes a weird face and spazzes out, escaping the hold in a flurry of flying limbs. Cheesecake rubs his hands together and chases after Cody, but gets hit with a drop toe hold. Cody backs up and hits a hard kick to the side of the head. Cheesecake rolls to the corner and tags in Huh.)
(Cody ducks a clothesline from Huh and whips him into the corner. Austin chokes Huh as Cheesecake gets in the ring. The ref sees Cheesecake and blocks his way, ordering him out of the ring while Cody hits a hard clothesline in the corner on Huh. The Pyro Twins run out through the crowd and slide into the ring. Cody stands back as they pull Huh away from the corner and hit Final Darkness, sliding out of the ring and back through the crowd. Cody covers Huh for the three count.)
Winners: Cody Hawk and Austin Lee
Tara: The Eccentrics were just robbed here tonight, Cody Hawk picking up the pinfall after the Pyro Twins did the dirty work.
Dick: No big loss, they got another chance, and this time they'll know better than to fall for old tricks like that.
Tara: We're out of time here on Foundation, be sure to watch next week as the tournament continues. For Dick Broccoli, this is Tara Fisher, good night Dayton.
