Foundation. April 02, 2004

Dayton Gym Club

("Prayer" opening.)

Tara: Welcome to FPPVW Foundation! I'm Tara Fisher, along with Dick Broccoli, and this is a night that might answer some of our questions? Does Austin Lee have Alan Mayse's number? Will Nykk get the title shot he seeks? Who will advance in the Ohio Tag Team Tournament?

Dick: When will the injustices to the Heel Stable end? How many more clichéd show openings do I have to listen to?

("Pajamarama" hits and the Eccentrics make their way to the ring, along with Pinky.)

Tara: We're starting things off with the next round of the lower bracket of the Ohio Tag Team Tournament. All three of these teams have lost a fall, so it's do or die time. One team will advance, and two teams will be eliminated.

Dick: The Eccentrics have been lucky so far, after their miserable failure against Austin Lee and Cody Hawk in the first round. They made it past the Fatal Four Way, eliminating Los Villanos, Joey Sprinklers and Swinger, and the Cabana Boyz.

("Soul Creation" hits and Cynric and Silver King make their way to the ring.)

Tara: It was a tough break for Cynric when his brother Ronin Fox was injured at the hands of Nykk. He had to find a replacement partner, and Silver King stepped up to the plate.

Dick: But this combination hasn't been nearly as successful. They lost to Austin Lee and Cody Hawk last week, and if they lose again, they're done.

("Let's All Go to the Lobby" hits and the Concession Boyz make their way to the ring.)

Tara: The team of Concession Boy Sr. and Concession Boy III is another team that has had moderate success in the tournament so far. They got past Los Villanos in the first round, but were outwrestled by the team of Johnny Kashmere and Chris Stylez, dropping them into the lower bracket.

Dick: I could give you a detailed analysis of each team's strengths and weaknesses, but quite frankly my dear, I don't give a damn who wins. They're all losers as far as I'm concerned.

(The bell rings, and Cheesecake starts out against Silver King. They lock up, and Silver King gets an armwringer. He cranks hard on the arm, but Cheesecake rolls through and kicks Silver King's shoulder to get him to let go. He gets up and they circle. They go to lock up again, but Cheesecake slips behind Silver King and gets a waistlock. Cheesecake starts to gyrate, and Silver King does everything in his power to get out. Cheesecake rides him and takes him down to the mat. Silver King sits out and then reverses into his own waistlock. Cheesecake hooks Silver King's head with his arms and propels himself into the air. He snapmares Silver King over, and Silver King rolls to his feet. Cheesecake charges, but Silver King hits a spinning heel kick. He covers and gets a one count. Silver King tags Cynric. They whip Cheesecake into the corner, and Silver King catches him with a spinning heel kick to the back of the head. Cheesecake staggers into a superkick from Cynric. Cynric covers, and gets a two count. Cynric picks Cheesecake up and hits a vertical suplex. He picks Cheesecake up and whips him into the ropes. He lifts him, but Cheesecake escapes and rolls up Cynric for a one count. Cynric pushes him off into the Concession Boyz' corner. Concession Boy III tags in and charges Cynric, who hits him with an armdrag and a hiptoss. CBIII gets a roundhouse kick in the midsection, and Cynric bounces off the ropes, hitting a rolling koppo kick. He tags Concession Boy Sr. in. Sr. gets in the ring as CBIII gets up, and they stare at each other for a few moments. The ref tells them they have to make physical contact before they tag, so they start amateur wrestling at half speed. Sr. gets a single leg takedown, but CBIII rolls through very slowly. Sr. spins around on CBIII, and Cynric and Silver King complain that they're not being serious. The ref tells them to speed it up, so Sr. picks up CBIII and whips him into the ropes. Sr. yells "Duck!" and CBIII ducks a clothesline. CBIII bounces off the ropes and yells "Duck!" and this time Sr. ducks a clothesline. CBIII bounces off the ropes again and Sr. goes for a hiptoss. CBIII lands on his feet, and they both run over to the corner and tag in Cynric and Silver King. They reluctantly get in the ring and lock up. Cynric ducks around Silver King and trips him. Cynric bounces off the ropes and goes for an elbow. Silver King moves and tries a rolling senton, but Cynric moves. They both kip up and Cynric tags in Cheesecake. Cheesecake acts all jubilant at being in the ring with Silver King again, but Silver King shakes his head and quickly tags Huh. Huh comes in, ready to fight, but Cheesecake calms him down. He yells "Duck!" and bounces off the ropes, and Huh looks around for a duck. Cheesecake tries to stop himself, but barrels into Huh, knocking heads. Cheesecake staggers backwards, and Silver King tags in, wiping his hand on his tights after touching Cheesecake. He hits a northern lights suplex on Huh and gets a two count. He whips Huh into the ropes and hits a powerslam. He tags Cynric, who gets an armwringer, and pulls Huh in for a roundhouse kick. Huh doubles over, and Cynric goes for a powerbomb. Huh escapes and somersaults over Cynric, landing on his feet and tagging Concession Boy III. CBIII knocks Cynric down with a flying forearm and again with a clothesline. He whips Cynric into the ropes, but Cynric launches himself into the air and hits a double chop to the chest. He applies a front facelock to CBIII.)

(Commercial Break)

(The match is still going, and CBIII has broken loose from Cynric. He bounces off the ropes, but Cynric catches him with a spinning crescent kick. He tags Cheesecake, who starts stomping CBIII. He hits a back suplex and then goes to the top rope. He misses a flying headbutt, and both men crawl to their corners. Cheesecake tags Huh, and CBIII tags Sr. Huh body checks Sr. to send him down a couple of times, and then hits a powerslam. Silver King tags in and charges Huh, only to get caught with a Windbreaker. Huh goes to the top rope and hits a moonsault, but Cynric breaks up the pin. Everyone comes in, and a big brawl erupts. Silver King hits Huh with a drop toehold and applies the Silver Surfer. The Concession Boyz save him from tapping out by attacking Silver King. They whip him into the ropes, but Silver King twists around and reverses. The Concession Boyz are tripped from the outside by Cynric and Cheesecake and dragged out to ringside. Silver King hits a pescado on Cheesecake and the Concession Boyz. Cynric slides into the ring and hits Huh with the Lift Off, and motions for Silver King to come back in and make the cover. Sr. holds Silver King on the outside, while CBIII throws Cynric out of the ring. Silver King hits an enzugiri on Sr. and gets back in. CBIII hits the Dr. Bob Beer Bomb on Silver King, but Cheesecake runs in and dropkicks CBIII. Huh goes to the top rope for the moonsault, but Cynric gets on the apron. They duke it out, but Cynric finally hits a crescent kick to the back of Huh's head. He falls backwards and lands on top of Silver King, and Cheesecake pulls Cynric off the apron. Huh gets the pin.)

Tara: And the Eccentrics do it again! This time by... accident!?

Dick: Well, this means that Cynric and Silver King and the Concession Boyz are out of the tournament, and the Eccentrics are one step closer to wrestling the Pyro Twins at Wrestling Revolution, which they do not want.

(In the office, Jon Z is standing with Austin Lee and Cody Hawk.)

Jon: I want you two to understand something. This tournament is about reclaiming the Tag Team Titles for FPPVW and putting the titles in the promotion's hands. As long as the Pyro Twins are the "Rio" Tag Team Champions, any title I create means squat. But it also means that the real FPPVW Tag Team Champions will have to have poise, dignity and a regard for the rules. So you will not be winning any more tournament matches the way you did last week. Is that clear?

Austin: Jon, I assure you that I had nothing to do with Nykk interfering. We just capitalized on the opportunity when it arrived. And after we demolish Kashmere and Stylez, twice if it comes to that, we will take those titles from the Pyro Twins. And then I will go on to the main event of Wrestling Revolution and take the FPPVW Title from Alan Mayse. You see, Mayse is weak. He threw his best at me two weeks ago, and I kept kicking out. Then he fell to my Degenerate Driver. Come Wrestling Revolution, I will hold double gold.

Cody: What we want, Jon, is a tag match tonight. We need to prepare for Styles and Kashmere, and possibly the Eccentrics. Thanks to him winning Gauntlet, we haven't had much opportunity to team lately.

Jon: I'll tell you what. You want a match? You got it, and Austin, since you're so cocky that you can beat Alan, let's see you do it again. Tonight, our main event will be Austin Lee and Cody Hawk vs. Alan Mayse and... let's make it interesting. A mystery partner. Whoever wants to team with him. Now, if you'll excuse me...

(He leaves.)

Austin: That's what I'm talking about, Cody. Tonight, I have another chance to show everybody that I am better than the FPPVW Champion...

Cody: Will you shut up about Alan Mayse? Lately, that's all you can think about. I think winning Gauntlet has gone to your head. When we started in this tournament, we agreed to each carry our share of the team. But last week, I had to practically wrestle the entire match myself. If not for Nykk, we would have lost for sure.

Austin: What are you talking about? We had them right where we wanted them. It was all a part of my plan.

Cody: Well, next time cue me in on your plans. We're partners, remember? How are we supposed to win the Tag Team Titles if all you're thinking about is the main event at...

Austin: Listen, it would be very nice to win the Tag Team Titles. But my number one priority is and always has been the FPPVW Title. And anyone who gets in between me and my goal will be removed... partner.

(He leaves the office.)

(Commercial Break)

("Simon Says" is playing, and Swinger is in the ring with a mic.)

Tara: We're back, and it looks like we're going to hear from Swinger.

Swinger: Dayton, Ohio... Swinger's got a problem! For the past two weeks, Swinger's been stuck battling his former tag team partner, and he's had enough! You have one more shot, Joey Sprinklers... after this, Swinger's moving on to bigger and better things than you!

("Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers skateboards to the ring.)

Tara: Strong words from Simon... er, I mean Swinger as he prepares to go against Joey Sprinklers.

Dick: I agree with Swinger, it's time to end this. Both these guys are so much better than this.

(FINISH: Swinger goes for the Swing Thing, but Joey escapes and manages to hit Da Sprinklanator. He covers, but Swinger gets a foot on the bottom rope. Joey brings Swinger to his feet, but out of nowhere, Kevin Stone runs into the ring and clotheslines Joey. The ref calls for the bell and awards the match to Swinger by DQ as Stone tears into Joey.)

Tara: This match has been thrown out, but it looks like Kevin Stone is back!

Dick: Where did he come from, Tara?

(Kevin whips Joey into the ropes and lifts him into the air for a flapjack. However, he catches him on the way down with a Diamond Cutter. He grabs a microphone.)

Kevin: This is only the tip of the iceberg, Joey Sprinklers. You go back and tell your boss that the Heel Stable's reign of terror is finished. That also goes for any rulebreakers here in FPPVW. Because I assure you, this Stone will not be broken!

("Smoke on the Water" hits and Kevin leaves the ring.)

Tara: What a surprise, Kevin Stone has returned right here on Foundation!

Dick: We need some help out here for Joey Sprinklers. Who cares about Kevin Stone?

Tara: We'll be back in a few.

(Commercial Break)

(The Nykk Show furniture is in the ring, and "My Way" hits. Nykk comes out, looking around to either side. He beckons to someone behind the curtain and the Pyro Twins emerge and follow him down.)

Tara: We're back, and if you just tuned in, Kevin Stone has returned from his injury and he laid out Joey Sprinklers before the break. Nykk heard what Kevin Stone had to say, and it looks like he's brought some backup out here.

Dick: Stone implied that he's after any and all rulebreakers here in FPPVW, but he already broke a rule getting involved in that match. What a hypocrite!

Tara: I guess he felt he had to get the message out by any means necessary.

(Nykk gets a microphone and signals for his music to be cut. He smiles.)

Nykk: Now, I know what you're all thinking. You're thinking, 'What kind of venom is Nykk going to come out here and spew tonight?' Well, I've got news for you. I have nothing to complain about! (smiles) You may not believe this, but I've turned over a new leaf. From now on, you're going to see a happier, gentler Nykk, who would never think of doing anything wrong.

Tara: Please. Is he that scared of Kevin Stone, or is he up to something else?

Dick: What are you talking about? The guy's pouring his heart out. He says he's turning over a new leaf. Leave him alone.

Nykk: I know I haven't been exactly 100% stable recently, and maybe it's because the rigors of the business are getting to me. Whatever the reason, from now on, you will see a brand new side of me. I promise you, for this edition of the Nykk Show, there will be no fighting or hijinxs of any kind. So, without further adieu, I must introduce my guest this week... the woman who has her sights set on the FPPVW Ladies' Title... Kai Kitta!

("Faint" hits and Kai Kitta makes her way to the ring.)

Tara: Kai Kitta was the runner up in the FPPVW Ladies' Title Tournament back in December, but she hasn't had much luck securing a rematch since then.

Dick: Maybe it was luck. When it comes right down to it, maybe Kai just isn't that good.

Nykk: Kai, welcome to the Nykk Show. As we all know, you are one of the toughest lady wrestlers in FPPVW. The tournament for the Ladies' Title looked to be all yours. You OWNED the competition. Yet, an underdog by the name of Naomi Leach came out of nowhere and snatched away your golden opportunity. Since then, you have not gotten a title shot. How do you feel about that?

Kai: How do I feel about that? I want my title shot, Nykk. I know that despite the fact I haven't lost that much, I haven't been granted a title match because I'm Naomi Leach's friend. Well, friend or not, her belt will be mine eventually, you can count on it. I would just advise Naomi to be careful. She wants me to be at my best for our title match, but Naomi, I'm telling you right now... my best is better than you.

Nykk: Now, now, let's not get belligerent out here. This is the Nykk Show, it's all clean fun. Bad-mouthing, rough housing and physical violence of any kind is prohibited. That's what your homes are for. Seriously, Kai, don't you think that Naomi is just saving your shot for a big event? I mean, there wouldn't be much promotional value in a title match between you two if you got it right now, would there?

Kai: I don't give a damn about promotional value. Whenever I get the shot, you're looking at the next FPPVW Ladies' Champion. It may be today, tomorrow or a year from now, but I promise you...

("My Last Breath" interrupts Kai and Jade makes her way to the ring.)

Tara: It's Jade! What's she doing out here?

Dick: Who knows? She's still trying to find her place here in FPPVW. She doesn't have any right to be walking onto the Nykk Show like this!

Nykk: Now, ladies, why can't we all just get along? I'm trying to have a show here. What's wrong, Jade?

Jade: Kai, I'm sick of you complaining about not having a title shot. A month ago, I came this close to becoming the FPPVW Ladies' Champion. If you're looking through me to get to Naomi Leach, then you've just made a grievous error.

Kai: If it isn't the girl who somehow got a title shot even though she had done absolutely zip prior to that match. Who did you sleep with to get that title shot, Jade?

Jade: That's none of your business.

Kai: Oh, I see. Maybe I should go ask Jon Z what color panties you wear. I can't believe he would stoop this low.

Nykk: He's only human. She's evil, but she is hot, you've got to admit.

Jade: Kai, what I do in my spare time is, I repeat, none of your business. The fact is, I came closer than you have in months to winning the title, but if I have to go through you to get another shot, that's fine with me. Why don't we have a match right here tonight?

Kai: All right, you're on!

Nykk: You know, I think a match is a tremendous idea. As a matter of fact, I'll even lend you my personal referee David Caldwell to officiate. Dusty, Jay, clear the ring. We've got a challenge on our hands!

(Dusty and Jay clear the ring while Jade and Kai prepare. David Caldwell runs down to the ring.)

Nykk: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall. To my left, we have a young up and comer, who says she will be the next FPPVW Ladies' Champ... this is Jade! And to my right, from Denver, Colorado, a feisty young vixen who claims to be the number one contender to the FPPVW Ladies' Title... Kai Kitta!

(He gets out of the ring as the bell rings.)

Tara: Well, if Bizarro Nykk is finished, we have a special challenge. Kai Kitta vs. Jade.

Dick: Maybe this will help Jon Z decide just once and for all who is the number one contender.

(FINISH: Kai works on Jade's back throughout the match, and Jade has trouble lifting Kai for a German suplex. Kai darts around Jade and hooks her arms for a tiger suplex for a two count. Kai whips Jade into the ropes, but Jade ducks the Interceptor and kicks Kai, hitting a DDT. Jade lifts Kai for a vertical suplex, but her back finally gives out and Kai counters with an inside cradle for the three count.)

Tara: Kai Kitta is the winner, and I hope that Jon Z noticed.

Dick: Well, if she really wanted a title shot, she could do what Jade did, and...

Tara: I think the less that is mentioned, the better off we'll all be.

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Joey Sprinklers is walking when someone's voice calls out.)

Voice: I'm baaaack...

Joey: Oh, no... not again. Kevin... I didn't mean it, Kevin...

(Aki Mann jumps out of the shadows and poses.)

Joey: Oh, it's just you.

Aki: Well, Little Joseph, our paths cross yet again.

Joey: Yeah... sorry about laying the beatdown on you a few weeks back. It was nothing personal.

Aki: I understand completely. It was all part of the universal plan to carry on the fight against the Great Evil.

Joey: Yeah, that's it.

Aki: But now I am back, and I am ready for this Ohio Tag Team Tournament. You must tell me, Little Joseph... who are our first round opponents?

Joey: Are you kidding me? Look... (puts a hand on his shoulder) I don't know, but Jon Z does. Why don't you go ask him? He went in that room there.

(He points at a room.)

Aki: In there?

Joey: Yes.

(Aki goes into the room and Joey slams the door and blocks it with a crate. He quickly stacks another crate on top of it, barring Aki Mann in the room. Joey laughs and walks away.)

(In the locker room, the Pyro Twins are lacing up their boots.)

Dusty: Okay, here's how it stands. We're down to three possible teams we'll be facing at Wrestling Revolution. First, Austin Lee and Cody Hawk...

Jay: They're not united at all. You saw what they were like last week. Divide and conquer, and it'll be no problem.

Dusty: Then Johnny Kashmere and Chris Stylez...

Jay: The dark horses. We'll have to watch out for them, but they've got nowhere near the experience we have.

Dusty: Last, and least... the Eccentrics.

Jay: Those idiots may not have a clue what's going on, but I'd rather face either of the other two teams than get in the ring with those clowns again.

Dusty: I just realized something.

Jay: What?

Dusty: Suppose Huh and Cheesecake did win this tournament. What would happen?

Jay: We'd have to face them at Wrestling Revolution.

Dusty: (smiles) Exactly.

Jay: I don't understand you.

Dusty: Don't you see? If they win the tournament... we'd murder 'em.

Jay: Yeah, but Cheesecake creeps me out. I don't want anything to do with those two.

(Dusty shrugs.)

(Jon Z is in his office when Nykk enters.)

Nykk: You wanted to see me, Jon?

Jon: Yeah. First of all, I don't believe a word of this tripe you've been spewing about turning over a new leaf. I know you better than that. Second of all, our main event is coming up next...

Nykk: I know. I'm looking forward to it.

Jon: Well, you won't get to see it. I will not have a repeat of last week. You are hereby ordered to vacate the premises for the evening. See ya later.

Nykk: Jon, I'm telling you, I've changed. I was able to successfully navigate a good match onto the show earlier, and I promise you I won't interfere in the main event. But if you're ordering me to leave, I won't press the issue. I'll do what it takes to prove that I'm worthy of a shot at the FPPVW Title. I'll be back next week.

(He leaves, and Jon watches him suspiciously.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "The Way I Am" hits and Austin Lee and Cody Hawk make their way to the ring.)

Tara: We're getting ready for our main event here on Foundation, and the good news is that Nykk has been thrown out of the building and will not be able to interfere again this week.

Dick: Why is that good news? Jon Z has just thrown one of FPPVW's biggest draws out of the building. How does that make for good television?

Tara: Nevertheless, Austin Lee and Cody Hawk asked for a warm up match before the final match in the winners' bracket with Kashmere and Stylez. It should be interesting to see if Austin Lee is more focused this week.

("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: Here comes one of their opponents, the FPPVW Champion Alan Mayse! But we still don't know who his partner is going to be.

Dick: Maybe Alan has no friends. He's out here by himself. He could be wrestling this tag match by himself.

(Alan gets a mic.)

Alan: My partner is someone who I go back a long way with. He was supposed to be a surprise, but he just couldn't wait and revealed himself once already tonight. Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce to you, my partner...

Dick: Aki Mann?

("Smoke on the Water" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: No, it's Kevin Stone! Kevin just returned from the disabled list, and we saw him once tonight, attacking his old stablemate Joey Sprinklers.

Dick: Yeah, Mr. Justice attacked the man during his match. What kind of cowardice does that take?

(FINISH: Kevin Stone and Cody Hawk get the hot tags. Kevin takes Cody down with some right hands and a shoulderblock, and then whips him into the ropes, hitting a back body drop. He hits an inverted atomic drop and then goes to the second rope, hitting a clothesline. He covers, but Austin Lee makes the save. Kevin attacks him as he exits the ring, sending him through the ropes. Kevin tags Alan, and they whip Cody into the ropes. Kevin catches him by the waist and crouches down. Alan bounces off the ropes and nails Cody with a dropkick. Alan signals for the tiger bomb, but Austin Lee attacks him from behind before he can complete the move. They kick Alan and then whip him into the ropes, going for a double clothesline. However, Alan slides out of the ring and Kevin slingshots over the top rope, hitting a double clothesline. Alan gets back in the ring as Austin gets up. He charges Kevin, but Kevin lifts him and hits the Stone Cutter. Austin rolls out of the ring, and Alan hits the tiger bomb on Cody. He covers and gets the three count.)

Tara: A big victory for Kevin Stone and the FPPVW Champion Alan Mayse! Austin Lee was more focused this time, but his team still couldn't get the win.

Dick: This does not bode well for their chances next week against Stylez and Kashmere.

(As Alan and Kevin celebrate, Joey Sprinklers and the Pyro Twins run in and attack from behind. Joey hits Kevin from behind with his skateboard, and the Pyro Twins attack Alan. They whip him into the corner and then nail Final Darkness when he staggers out. Joey manages to lift Kevin and hit the Sprinklanator. Joey yells at Kevin as the Pyro Twins exit the ring.)

Tara: What the hell is this? Nykk couldn't leave well enough alone, could he? He said he wouldn't interfere, but he didn't say anything about his followers.

Dick: Nykk had nothing to do with this. He left the building!

Tara: If you think that Nykk had nothing to do with this, then you're naïve. I don't care what he says, Nykk hasn't changed at all. We're out of time, people. For Dick Broccoli, I'm sick to my stomach!
