Foundation. June 22, 2004

Dayton Gym Club

("Prayer" opening.)

Tara: We are just three days removed from Sunstroke, which turned out to be FPPVW's biggest event yet! And now we welcome all our fans to Fox Sports Digital 2. This is Foundation! I'm Tara Fisher, along with Dick Broccoli.

Dick: What up, yo.

Tara: What will be the reaction of Austin Lee, who lost the Ladder Match to Alan Mayse? For that matter, what will be the reaction of Nykk after losing to the Heel-Killer Kevin Stone?

Dick: We also have loads of action here tonight. In the main event, the Eccentrics will defend the FPPVW Tag Team Titles for the first time against Johnny Kashmere and Chris Stylez.

("Simon Says" hits and Swinger makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: Here comes one half of the team that has been named "Swinging Justice" in the past couple of months, Swinger. His partner Aki Mann suffered defeat at Sunstroke at the hands of a new acquisition for FPPVW, Hydro.

Dick: Yes, it was a glorious day.

(Swinger gets a mic.)

Swinger: Dayton, Ohio... Swinger's got a problem! This past Monday, Swinger's partner Aki Mann stepped in the ring with the new guy in FPPVW, Hydro. Aki did not prove victorious, and will not be here tonight. But I am here, and I say to Hydro, you may have beaten Aki, but you will not find me so easy to defeat!

("Push It" hits and Hydro makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: Confident words from Swinger, who I think is starting to feel a little bit of affection for his partner-in-justice.

Dick: Justice? Give me a break. Hydro may be new, but he's very talented. He made minced meat out of Aki Mann, and the same thing could be in store for Swinger.

(FINISH: Swinger makes a comeback and gets in a few clotheslines and a dropkick on Hydro. He whips Hydro into a corner and charges, but Hydro kicks him in the face. He puts Swinger in a fireman's carry, but Swinger escapes and hits the Swing Thing. He covers, but Hydro gets a foot on the bottom rope. He picks Hyrdo up and sets him up for another Swing Thing, but Hydro kicks back and hits a low blow, undetected by the ref. He then hits the Lethal Injection and gets the pin.)

Winner: Hydro

Tara: An impressive win by Hydro, but was that low blow really necessary?

Dick: He saw an opening and he took it. The ref didn't see it, so there's nothing wrong with that.

Tara: You have a very warped sense of fair play.

Dick: It's not illegal unless you get caught.

(Backstage, the Concession Boyz are getting ready. Sr. looks a little nervous.)

CBIII: Yo Beermaster, what's eatin' ya, man?

CBSr.: Ah, Pretzelhopper, you saw the booking sheet for tonight right? I'm up next against Austin Lee! He's going to be out for blood.

CBIII: Come on, man. Sure, Austin Lee lost at Sunstroke. Sure, it's the second failed opportunity at the FPPVW Title. Sure, he's in danger of being labeled a choke artist. But tonight he steps into the ring with a Concession Boy, and do you know what that means?

CBSr.: It means I'm gonna die!

CBIII: No, it means that you're going to go out there and show him everything you taught me. What Austin Lee doesn't know is tonight he's stepping into the ring with the master.

(CBSr. nods nervously and walks out the door. CBIII pats him on the back.)

CBIII: Go get 'im.

(A cell phone rings, and CBIII puts it up to his ear.)

CBIII: Hello. (pause) What, tonight? (pause) No, come on down! You won't make it in time for Sr.'s massacre, but I've got a rematch with Insane Dragon later on. (pause) Yeah, look forward to doing business with you. (pause) All right. Bye.

(He hangs up the phone and leaves the locker room.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "The Way I Am" hits and Austin Lee makes his way to the ring. Austin lashes out at the curtain on his way out.)

Tara: We're back on Foundation, and Austin Lee is in a bad mood after losing to Alan Mayse again, at Sunstroke.

Dick: I don't understand it, Tara. Austin always seems to have Alan's number, but he is still not the FPPVW Champion.

Tara: Maybe it's like Alan said. Austin can't beat him when it counts.

("Let's All Go to the Lobby" hits and Concession Boy Sr. reluctantly makes his way to the ring.)

Dick: Goodbye, Concession Boy Sr. It's been nice knowing you... wait, no it hasn't.

Tara: This will be Austin's first match since Sunstroke, and Concession Boy Sr., as well as everyone else here, gets the feeling that Austin has some frustration to vent.

(Concession Boy Sr. gets a box from under the ring and brings out a "Sunstroke" t-shirt. He offers it to Austin as a peace offering, saying it's 60% off.)

Tara: That's not going to avail you, Beermaster, even if it is marked down.

(Austin snatches the shirt away and rips it in two. Sr. tries to run away, but Austin catches him with a waistlock and plants him with a German suplex as the bell rings.)

(FINISH: The match doesn't last long. Sr. does manage to counter the Degenerate Driver into a backdrop, and take Austin over with a flying headscissors. He whips Austin into a corner, but it gets reversed. Sr. tries to tip up, but Austin catches him and dumps him across the top rope. He hits the Degenerate Driver and gets the pin.)

Winner: Austin Lee

Tara: Austin Lee makes short work of Concession Boy Sr. He is absolutely seething.

Dick: You can't really blame him.

(Austin gets a chair and gets back in the ring.)

Tara: What is he going to do now? He's already beaten this poor guy to a pulp.

(Austin starts hitting Sr. across the back with the chair. The ref tries to stop him, but gets shoved to the mat. Austin puts the chair over the back of Sr.'s head and goes to the second rope. He comes off with a stomp on the chair, knocking Sr. out.)

Tara: All right, Austin, that's enough. We get it.

(Austin leaves the ring as EMTs come out to check on Sr.)

Dick: Austin Lee has just decimated Concession Boy Sr.! Hopefully he'll stay out here and do the same for Concession Boy III. We'll be right back!

Tara: I'm the one who segues to commercial, you...

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Ms. Vanessa faces the camera as Kumiko Indohara practices martial arts kicks on a punching bag in the background.)

Vanessa: Hello, FPPVW. My name is Ms. Vanessa, and I'm here on behalf of my client, Miss Kumiko Indohara. (gestures behind her) Yes, Kumiko Indohara is from Japan. No, she cannot speak English. Yes, she could have stayed over in Japan and made more money in a country where women's wrestling is taken seriously. But no, Kumiko Indohara is not one to rest on her laurels. She's learned from the best in Japan, and now it's time for her to learn from the best of North America. And some of the best women's action can be found right here in FPPVW. So Kumiko Indohara is coming to FPPVW, and yes, Kumiko Indohara's goal is to become the FPPVW Ladies' Champion. All I have left to say is... good luck, ladies.

(She moves away and the camera centers on Kumiko, who rears back and lands a mighty kick to the punching bag. The camera gets a close up on the punching bag, showing the huge split her kick caused.)

(In the arena, "Victims of Hardstyle" hits and Insane Dragon makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: Kumiko Indohara looks very impressive, and I can't wait to see what she can do here in FPPVW. But right now, Insane Dragon is set for action.

Dick: A very talented young man. It wouldn't surprise me if he was to wear gold in the near future.

("Let's All Go to the Lobby" hits and Concession Boy III makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: It may look like Concession Boy III got the "easy" assignment tonight after his partner, Sr., was brutalized by Austin Lee, but far from it. Insane Dragon already has one victory over CBIII.

(FINISH: Insane Dragon goes for his springboard 450 splash, but suddenly a girl in ordinary clothes runs out and grabs his foot. Insane Dragon flips and lands on his feet, turning to face the girl. However, CBIII flips to the mat behind him, cradling him with a sunset flip for the three count.)

Winner: Concession Boy III

Tara: CBIII picks up the win, but who is this?

Dick: Whoever she was, she has no business here. Security!

(The girl gets in the ring and hugs Concession Boy III. She then gets Sr.'s box from outside the ring and starts selling Naomi Leach shirts to the front row.)

Tara: Wait a minute. She's working for the Concession Boyz!

Dick: Another one!? A Concession... Girl!?

("Let's All Go to the Lobby" plays as CBIII goes outside to help Concession Girl.)

Tara: What else is going to happen tonight? We'll be right back.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "My Way" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: Nykk is coming off a loss to Kevin Stone at Sunstroke, and the Heel-Killer may well have lived up to his name. That may have been the death knell for the Heel Stable.

Dick: Don't worry, Nykk has something in mind. He always does.

(Nykk gets a mic and listens to the boos.)

Nykk: You know, for the first time, I actually feel that I deserve that. Lately, the Heel Stable has not been handling themselves well, and I think that it's time to admit the truth. Lately, I have not been handling myself well. It all started to go downhill at Wrestling Revolution, when I lost to Ronin Fox. And it continued on Monday when I lost to Kevin Stone, who pinned me right in the center of the ring. I can't blame Joey for that. I can't blame Dusty or Jay for that. I can only blame myself. The pressure of being on top of a wrestling company finally seems to have caught up with me. I'm sorry that I failed as leader of the Heel Stable... but I'm not sorry that the rest of the members have been more of an embarrassment than I could ever aspire to be. The way you dropped the ball once again at Sunstroke makes me absolutely ill. Your win/loss records over the last month have been grotesque. I'm getting to the point where I don't know what I was thinking when I acquired these men to be the elite stable of FPPVW. And if I'm cracking under the pressure, and am not up to the task of bringing the Heel Stable out of its funk, then I'm going to do what I always resolved I would do in this situation. I'm going to go to the back. I'm going to get my things, get in my car and drive home, and I don’t know when I'll be back. Yes, I'm sorry it's come to this. I place some of the blame on my stable that can't string together a meaningful win. I blame a bit on myself for not paying enough attention and fixing the cracks before they were exposed to the world on Fox Sports Digital 2. But most of all... I place most of the blame on each and every one of you! Your continued lack of support has been nothing but a hindrance for over a year now. And in case your feeble, McDonald's menu-reading brains couldn't comprehend that sentence, comprehend this!

(He sticks up his middle finger.)

Nykk: I'm leaving this dirty toilet of a building and going home. F%$# you all very much!

("My Way" plays as Nykk throws down his mic and leaves.)

Tara: Nykk's leaving?

Dick: This is a sad day in the history of our sport.

Tara: Wait, wait, wait. Nykk's leaving?

Dick: These fans only have themselves to...

Tara: Yes! Nykk's leaving! There is a God!

Dick: Tara, I'm trying to...

Tara: Dick, I'm so happy I could kiss you! If you weren't really unattractive... and you didn't smell like old burritos... and you had the courage to use your real...

Dick: Hey, hey, don't you understand, Tara? We're losing the Alpha Wolf of FPPVW! This is a travesty!

Tara: This is cause for celebration. We'll be back!

(Commercial Break)

(Jon Z is in his office, facing the camera.)

Jon: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Foundation. You know, for over a year now, FPPVW has strived to bring you a little something of everything that makes the wrestling industry great. Diverse workers that can work any type of match, funny comedy spots, promos that can chill you to the bone, and the best women's division in North America. However, we are in a period of change. As FPPVW gets bigger, seemingly by the week, we have to endure some growing pains. These have come in the form of comings, goings, production changes, a new station to air our programming on, and expansion. Soon, all you new fans all over Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana will have the chance to come out and see FPPVW up close and personal. However, that is still a month or two down the road. But I promise you that changes are coming. And next week, I have an announcement to make that is bar none the biggest announcement I've ever had to make concerning this promotion. So please tune in next week, and I will divulge all information then. Thank you, and please enjoy the rest of our show.

(In the arena, "Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: The FPPVW Champion has entered the FPPVW Arena!

Dick: Let me tell you something, Tara. It's a miracle that he still has that title.

Tara: If you would have gotten to know Alan like the rest of us over the past year, you wouldn't be saying that. Alan Mayse is the only multi-time FPPVW Champion in the company's brief history, and as of last month, he now holds the record for the longest FPPVW Title reign, eclipsing Nykk's reign of three months exactly.

(Alan gets a mic.)

Alan: You know what? Jon Z can make all the announcements he wants, and make all the changes he wants in this promotion. But you want to know the one thing that will stay the same? Alan Mayse as your FPPVW Champion! I have held this title for over four months now, and though a little bragging might seem out of place for me, I've been untouchable!

Tara: He certainly has. Victories over Silver King, Nykk, Austin Lee and each of the Pyro Twins have kept him on top.

Alan: I promise every single one of you that I will not rest on my laurels. It's time to challenge myself and push myself even harder, which is why you'll start to see more title defenses from me. But first, I have something to say to my challenger from this past Monday. Austin Lee, you seem to be a little pissed off today. Maybe it's because in two title matches, you have yet to beat me. I pinned you in the center of the ring at Wrestling Revolution, and at Sunstroke I proved that I can climb a ladder faster too. And I would like nothing more than to have you come out here and shake my hand for two matches well fought, and two matches that are sure to be FPPVW Match of the Year Candidates. But I can see that's not going to happen. So since you've had your shot, it's time I looked toward the horizon for a new challenger. And when I find...

(Suddenly, Austin runs in through the crowd, still carrying the chair he used earlier. He jumps in the ring and hits Alan across the back with it.)

Tara: Austin Lee just jumped the FPPVW Champion once again! This has to stop!

Dick: Obviously, Austin didn't like Alan dismissing him in favor of a new challenger.

(Austin hits Alan over the head with the chair and then places it on Alan's head. He goes to the second rope and comes off with a stomp on the chair, just like he did to Concession Boy Sr. He grabs the mic.)

Austin: No you don't, Alan. I refuse to smash my head against the glass ceiling any longer. I know I can beat you, Mayse. I've pinned you twice! This isn't over! I want one last rematch. I know how much you love a challenge, and since I gave you two "well fought" matches, if you think you're up to it, meet me here in this ring... next week!

(He throws down the mic and walks out of the arena.)

Tara: You've had your shot, Austin! You'll get another eventually. This isn't necessary!

Dick: Maybe it was, Tara. Do you think that Alan is going to be able to turn him down now?

Tara: Ladies and gentlemen, we'll be right back with our main event.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "One Step Closer" hits and Johnny Kashmere and Chris Stylez make their way to the ring.)

Tara: We're back on Foundation, and it's time for the first defense for the Eccentrics of the FPPVW Tag Team Championship. Kashmere and Stylez have made waves in recent weeks, most notably with a decisive victory over Swinging Justice.

Dick: Kashmere and Stylez have a new attitude, and it could avail them well here in the tag ranks.

("Pajamarama" hits and the Eccentrics make their way to the ring.)

Tara: The FPPVW Tag Team Champions are here, and they look eager to prove their worth.

Dick: I just can't imagine these idiots with a victory over Kashmere and Stylez, but then again, I never thought they'd beat the Pyro Twins at Wrestling Revolution either.

The Eccentrics vs. Chris Stylez and Johnny Kashmere
FPPVW Tag Team Championship

(The bell rings, and Huh and Chris Stylez start out the match. They go to lock up, and Stylez pokes Huh in the eye. He whips him into the ropes and hits a back elbow. He goes for an elbow drop, but Huh moves. Huh armdrags Stylez and then gives him a hiptoss. He clotheslines Stylez, who tags Johnny Kashmere. Kashmere comes in and offers Huh a handshake. Huh wants a hug instead, and Kashmere reluctantly obliges him. Huh suddenly hits him with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Stylez comes back in, but gets sent down with a standing avalanche. Kashmere and Stylez roll out of the ring to regroup. Huh goes over and pretends to go for a pescado. Stylez and Kashmere cringe away instinctively, but Huh stops himself. Cheesecake bounces off the ropes, and Huh backdrops him over the top rope and onto Kashmere and Stylez. Cheesecake throws Kashmere back into the ring and gets back in the corner. Huh gets an armwringer and drives his shoulder into Kashmere's. He tags Cheesecake, and they whip Kashmere into the ropes, hitting a double looper. Cheesecake covers and gets a two count. Cheesecake whips Kashmere into the ropes and drops down. Kashmere bounces off the ropes, but Cheesecake drops down again. On the third pass, Kashmere stops himself and tries a legdrop, but Cheesecake moves. He bounces off the ropes and kicks Kashmere in the spine. Kashmere goes to his back, and Cheesecake drops with a falling headbutt. He covers and gets another two count. He goes for a gutwrench suplex, but Kashmere blocks it and counters with one of his own. He tags Stylez, who charges Cheesecake but gets tripped up with a drop toehold. Cheesecake hits a back suplex and tags Huh. He hits Stylez with some right hands in the corner and then whips him to the opposite side. Stylez tips up and does a back flip. Huh charges, but Stylez hits him with a tilt-a-whirl slam. He tags Kashmere, who jumps to the top rope. Stylez hits a vertical suplex, and then Kashmere comes off the top with a twisting senton. He covers and gets a two count. Kashmere hits Huh with some right hands and then picks him up, hitting a butterfly suplex. He drags Huh over to their corner and tags Stylez. He then slingshots Stylez over the top rope, and Stylez gives Huh a somersault legdrop. He applies a reverse chinlock, but Huh quickly makes it to his feet. He elbows his way out of the hold and whips Stylez into the ropes, putting his head down. Stylez counters with a swinging neckbreaker.)

(Commercial Break)

(Back from the break, Johnny Kashmere has a front facelock applied to Huh. Huh tries to get to his feet, but Kashmere puts a foot on the middle rope and forces Huh back down. Cheesecake tries to come in to complain, but that just distracts the ref, allowing Stylez to come in and lift Huh's legs into the air at the same time Kashmere puts both his feet on the ropes. Stylez gets back out before the ref turns around, but the ref sees Kashmere's foot on the ropes and forces him to break the hold. Kashmere lets go and gets up, kicking Huh in the back of the head. He whips him into the ropes, but Huh jumps up and grabs Kashmere's hair, taking him over to the mat. They both crawl to their corners, and make tags at the same time. Cheesecake clotheslines Stylez, and then gives him a back body drop. Kashmere attacks him from behind and they whip him into the ropes, but Cheesecake hits a double flying clothesline, taking them both down. He gives Stylez a drop toehold, forcing him to headbutt Kashmere in the crotch, and then Cheesecake gives him the Long Kiss Goodnight. Kashmere barely manages to break up the pin. Huh comes in and gives Kashmere a DDT. He sets up Stylez on his shoulders and goes to the second rope, setting up for the Eccentric Chair. However, Kashmere gets up and dropkicks Cheesecake from behind. Cheesecake sails into Huh, headbutting him in the ass. Huh releases Stylez, who somersaults backwards off Huh's shoulders and drops to all fours on the mat. Kashmere charges and springboards off Stylez's back just as Huh turns, spearing him off the second turnbuckle. They both go over the top rope and to the floor. Styles puts a full nelson on Cheesecake, going for the Stylez Bridle, but Cheesecake counters with a butt bump, and gets behind Stylez. He quickly hits the Screw Driver, and covers him in a 69 position for the pin.)

Winners: The Eccentrics

Tara: The Eccentrics do it again! Even after an unbelievable spear from Johnny Kashmere, Cheesecake still managed to hit Stylez with the Screw Driver for the pin.

Dick: I don't know how much longer I can watch the Eccentrics carry around those belts. Someone has to do something.

Tara: Well, maybe next week, because we're out of time. We'll also find out Alan Mayse's response to the challenge of Austin Lee. See you in seven, ladies and gentlemen!
