Foundation. November 16, 2004

College Park, MD

("Prayer" opening.)

Tara: Welcome everyone to College Park, the home city of the University of Maryland. We're in the back of the Comcast Center for another huge night of Foundation. I'm Tara Fisher.

Joel: And well, well, well. Bigger than the big man on campus, and the very definition of the real Student Union. It is I, the quintissential studmuffin, Joel "I make all the sorrority sisters squeal, when I...

Tara: That's Joel Gertner, who should probably stop talking if we want to come back here someday.

Joel: Oh I'll come back someday.

("Son of a Bitch" hits and Chad Collyer makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: We're jumping right into things here in RCW, Chad Collyer kicking things off.

Joel: I don't think he's happy about it though.

Tara: Chad Collyer hasn't been happy about anything in RCW since he lost his chance at the RCW Title.

("Pajamarama" hits and Huh makes his way to the ring, accompanied by Pinky. Huh doesn't dance, and is constantly looking over his shoulder.)

Joel: This is the second week in a row a member of the Eccentrics is in singles action, and the second week in a row that one of them is behaving strangely.

Tara: Huh is usually dancing to the ring, but he looks distracted today.

Joel: Last week Cheesecake shocked us with an unusually serious performance in which he stretched Johnny Kashmere to the breaking point. I don't think I've seen him here tonight at all.

Chad Collyer vs. Huh

(Chad ambushes Huh before the bell with a clothesline, pulling him to his feet and whipping him into the corner. He drives his shoulder into Huh's midsection and pulls him into a northern lights suplex. He gets a two count, Huh breaks away and rolls to the outside. Pinky confers with Huh, while Huh seems more interesting in watching the aisle, seemingly expecting someone.)

Tara: Huh is lost out there, I think he's waiting for Cheesecake to come out, but no one's seen him today.

Joel: Waiting for what? You mean Cheesecake hasn't come out yet?

Tara: Ah, shut up.

(Huh rolls into the ring and locks up with Chad. Chad pulls Huh into a side headlock. Huh backs into the ropes and launches Chad across the ring. He knocks Chad down with a shoulderblock and runs the ropes, going for a splash. Chad rolls out of the way. Huh gets to his feet but gets pulled into a butterfly suplex. Chad goes to the top rope and hits the "Firebird" 450 splash. He covers for three.)

Winner: Chad Collyer by pin.

Tara: Chad Collyer might think he belongs in the main event, and he might be right. That was a strong victory against Huh.

Joel: Though I'm curious about what was keeping Huh so distracted, and why Cheesecake failed to show.

(Chad celebrates in the ring and walks back up the aisle. Huh rolls out of the ring and talks to Pinky, seeming to describe a search pattern.)

Tara: We've got plenty of action ahead. Silver King is in the building, and he's going to be taking on Insane Dragon.

Joel: The Pyro Twins will put thier RCW Tag Team Championships on the line.

Tara: In a preview of the Ladies RCW Championship free for all, Concession Girl will step into the ring with the dangerous Kumiko Indohara.

Joel: Of course, lets not forget our RCW Television Title match as Ronin Fox takes on Austin Lee.

Tara: We'll keep things going after a quick break.

(In the crowd, Concession Boy III walks up to Concession Boy Sr. Concession Boy III is selling Ronin Fox t-shirts, while Concession Boy Sr. is selling Austin Lee shirts.)

CB3: Yo, how your sales coming?

CBSr: Strong today, strong as the storming wind.

CB3: Same here, dog. Hey, you hear what's up for November Pain? They putting us in a tag team battle royale on the preshow, and the winner gets a tag team title shot on the PPV.

CBSr: Ah, a wonderous opportunity. Perhaps it will be a night for the Merchants. Imagine us as Tag Team Champions while good Concession Girl wins the Ladies Free for All.

CB3: Yeah man, off the hook. Well, I better get back to work. These shirts may kick ass but they don't sell themselves.

CBSr: I shall sell out soon.

CB3: Wha? Selling Austin Lee rags? You got to be playin.

CBSr: Do not doubt me. My tray shall be empty before yours.

CB3: We'll see about that, dog.

(They both go back to selling.)

(Commercial break.)

(Backstage, Shadow sits in a dark locker room, seemingly meditating. The Ladies RCW Championship Belt is folded up and sitting in front of her. Kumiko Indohara and Miss Vanessa walk in. Miss Vanessa flips on the lights. Shadow seems jarred out of her state of calm and stands quickly.)

Miss Vanessa: Woah there, Shadow. We need the room. My client actually has a match later tonight. What exactly are you doing here tonight?

(Shadow stands still, not saying anything.)

Miss Vanessa: Well, whatever you're doing here, you can clear out. Miss Indohara must prepare for her match. She wants a bit of momentum going into November Pain for the Free for All when she's going to earn a shot at that belt.

(Shadow bends down to pick up the belt and put it on her shoulder.)

Miss Vanessa: I must say, Miss Kumiko is eagerly looking forward to facing you. She was most interested in the manner in which you acted toward the woman who appeared to be your teacher.

(Shadow pauses a moment and starts to turn away, but Kumiko grabs her arm and steps close, looking fiercely into Shadow's eyeless mask.)

Kumiko: You have no honor...

(Shadow continues to be silent. She eventually pulls away and leaves the room.)

(In the arena, "Victims of Hardstyle" hits and Insane Dragon makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: Wow, I'm surprised those two didn't tear that room down back there.

Joel: Perhaps it just wasn't the time, though usually any time two women want to tear into eachother I'm all for it.

Tara: Easy, boy.

("Crazy Train" hits and Silver King makes his way to the ring.)

Insane Dragon vs. Silver King

(Dragon takes control after a moonsault dropkick and hits a springboard corkscrew moonsault, covering for two. Silver King rolls to the ropes and stands up, leaping out of the way of a Kawada Kick. King whips Dragon into the corner, but Dragon bounces back out with a boot to the midsection. He sets up for Sliced Bread #2, but King pushes Dragon away while he's in the air. King backs up into the corner as Dragon charges. King lifts himself onto the second rope, Dragon missing a shoulderblock and running into the turnbuckle. King pulls him into a Tornado DDT and covers for three.)

Winner: Silver King by pin.

Joel: Insane Dragon just lived up to his name. You have to be insane to charge so blindly into a move like that.

Tara: Really? Think you can do better? I'd like to see you try your hand in the ring.

Joel: No thank you, I'm not messng up this pretty face, was bad enough when it almost got burned off my skull.

Tara: Oh right, wish I had been there to see that.

Joel: Really now? I think we better have a talk during the commercial.

Tara: Stay with us!

(Commercial break.)

("The Way I Am" hits and Austin Lee makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: I've been waiting for this match all week. Jon Z made the decision last week to put Austin Lee in the ring to challenge for the RCW Television Championship.

Joel: I think the only person more eager for this match than Austin is the champion himself.

("Wherever I May Roam" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: He did seem quite pleased with the decision last week, and he's definately got an air of confidence around him here tonight.

Ronin Fox vs. Austin Lee
RCW Television Championship Match

(Fox and Austin circle each other slowly. The crowd starts a "Lets Go Ronin" chant. They lock up, Fox applying a hammerlock. Austin reverses the hammerlock with one of his own, Fox reaches back and breaks the hold by taking Austin over with a snapmare. Austin keeps his momentum to get to his feet and run the ropes. Fox tries for a dropkick, but Austin sidesteps and pushes Fox out of the way. Austin goes for a legdrop, but Fox rolls out of the way. Fox stands and misses with an elbow drop. Fox and Austin kip up simultaniously.)

(The crowd pops, the "Lets Go Ronin" chant starting up again, many people holding up just bought Ronin Fox shirts. Some voices start up a "Lets Go Austin" chant alternating with the Ronin supporters. Fox and Austin lock up again. Austin backs Fox into the corner and backs away for a clean break. Fox rushes forward and gets hiptossed. Fox tries to get up, but gets pulled into a Dragon Sleeper. Fox fights to get his feet down flat on the mat, then flips backward over and behind Austin. He pulls Austin up and shoves him into the ropes, trying to roll him backward into a pin. Austin grabs hold of the top rope and lets Ronin roll backward. Fox rolls up to his feet and charges, but Austin ducks down and lowbridges Fox over the rop rope. Fox lands on the apron and Austin stands and tries to knock him away. Fox blocks Austin's right hand and pulls Austin close for an attempted vertical suplex out of the ring. Austin blocks and pulls Fox up for a vertical suplex of his own, but instead of taking him over, drops him stomach first on the top rope. He holds onto Fox and pulls him off the ropes with a DDT, covering for a two count.)

(Fox kicks out and rolls away. The two of them lock eyes. The crowd seems split evenly between chants for Ronin and Austin. They lock up again, Austin takes Fox down with a fireman's carry. Fox turns and sweeps Austin's legs from under him. Fox tries to apply a cross armbreaker, but Austin blocks and turns Fox over for a half Boston Crab. Fox powers out, kicking Austin to the ropes and standing up in time to leapfrog over Austin and hit a spinning heel kick. He covers for two, Austin kicking out and grabbing Fox's arm in an attempt at a crossface. Fox powers to his feet and uses the hold to his advantage, pulling Austin into a short arm clothesline. He pulls Austin up and puts him into position for a DDT, but Austin fights out and whips Fox to the corner. Fox jumps to the top rope and leaps back in a moonsault, attempting Fox Fire. Austin ducks down and Fox crashes to the mat. Austin covers for two.)

(Fox slides out of the ring and catches his breath. The crowd voices support for both of them. In various shots, Concession Boy III and Sr are both seen with nearly empty trays. Fox gets up on the ring apron. Austin stands back watching. Fox gets into the ring and Austin charges with a forearm shot. Fox rebounds against the ropes and hits a running dropkick. Austin rolls outside the ring and paces at one side. Fox runs and hits a tope. He rests for a few moments outside before rolling inside to break the count at 6. Austin climbs to his feet. Fox goes for a baseball slide, but Austin jumps up on the apron and the kick goes between his feet. With Fox still on the mat, Austin springboards into a guilotine legdrop. He drags Fox toward the center of the ring and tries to lock on the Crimson Cloverleaf. Fox refuses to be turned over and kicks Austin back into the ropes. Fox stands fast enough to hit a drop toe hold on Austin. He backs up and waits for Austin to stand, and hits the Tail End DDT. He covers for a two count, but the bell rings immediately after. Fox jumps to his feet with his arms raised in celebration, though the referee seems confused.)

Tara: What just happened? Austin clearly kicked out at two.

Joel: I think we're about to find out. Over to ring announcer Mike Lyles.

Mike: Ladies and Gentlemen, the twenty minute time limit has expired. Therefore this match is a draw.

(Fox rolls outside the ring and takes Mike's microphone.)

Fox: No way, you think I'm just going to take my title and go home after that? I'm putting him down for three tonight one way or another, so this match can just restart!

(The crowd starts chanting "five more minutes" with both Ronin and Austin rallying the crowd for it.)

Tara: Five more minutes or not, we have to take a break. We'll see if this match continues next.

(Commercial break.)

(In the ring, Fox and Austin are in a test of strength.)

Tara: Welcome back to Foundation, this match has indeed restarted here, the RCW Television Championship still up for grabs.

(Austin falls backward and pulls Fox down, kicking him back up with both legs and using the momentum to launchi himself up for a hurricanrana. He stays on top for a two count, but Fox hooks his legs under Austin's arms and pulls him down to cover for two. Austin kicks out and rolls backward. He goes for a front kick, but Fox catches his leg and hits a dragon screw legwhip. Fox pulls Austin up to his feet and signals for the Tail End again, but when he charges Austin sidesteps and hits a hangman's neckbreaker. Austin hesitates then goes to the corner, climbing to the second rope. Fox stands up and charges the corner. Austin gets a boot up and kicks Fox in the face, stunning him hitting a second rope rocker dropper. He picks Fox up and lifts him for the Degenerate Driver. Fox struggles and drops back down to his feet, backdropping Austin over the top rope to the floor. As Austin stands up, someone in a hood jumps over the barricade and hits Austin over the head with a bottle, shattering it. Security rushes over and they take the man down as Austin collapses against the ring apron. Fox stands up, having missed the altercation and grabs Austin's arm, pulling him into the ring. He props Austin up and pulls him into the Tiger Buster, covering for three.)

Winner: Ronin Fox by pin.

Joel: Fox gets the win.

Tara: But what a way to win it after it lasted so long as a fair contest. Does Fox even know what happened outside the ring?

(The man in the hood breaks away from security and his hood is pulled off to reveal Nykk. He laughs and jumps the guardrail again, slipping away through the crowd.)

Joel: It was Nykk! But why?

Tara: I doubt he was here to help Fox, I think this a message aimed directly at Austin Lee.

Joel: And it hit the mark very hard.

(Backstage, Alan Mayse is standing by with Zac Hensley.)

Zac: Alan Mayse, at November Pain you will once again...

(Alan grabs the microphone from him.)

Alan: Everyone knows who I'm facing by now. Yes, I'm taking on Colt Cabana. Yes he pushed me to the limit Homecoming Hell. Yes he technically scored a win on me last week on Foundation. Is he going to take the RCW Championship away from me? No. No one is taking this title away from me. I have built my career around this championship. I was the first FPPVW Champion, the first and only man to win that belt multiple times, and the first and only RCW Champion. I will make it my work to keep it that way until the day I get dragged into retirement. That won't be for a long long time. I have my whole career in front of me, and I'm already at the top. I'm not going down yet. If I'm at the top of the hill now, the next step is building a mountain. I'm going to take this title to new heights, and establish it at the premier world heavyweight championship in this sport. Until then, people like Colt Cabana can just jump out of my way.

(He drops the mic and walks away.)

(Commercial break.)

("Lets All Go to the Lobby" plays as Concession Girl warms up in the ring.)

Tara: Welcome back to Foundation. We've got Ladies action getting set up in the ring as we speek. Two girls that've been invited to the Free for All at November Pain.

("Battle Without Honor or Humanity" hits and Kumiko Indohara makes her way to the ring, accompanied by Miss Vanessa)

Concession Girl vs. Kumiko Indohara

(Kumiko dominates the match from the start with a series of intense kicks. Concession Girl blocks one kick and spins around behind Kumiko to slow her down with a sleeper hold. Kumiko rams Concession Girl backwards into the corner and turns around, using the ropes to jump up and take CG down with a flying headscisors and holding her down with the headscisors locked in. CG slips out and gets to her feet. She runs the ropes and goes for a running kick. Kumiko catches CG's foot, but gets caught with an enzigiri. CG goes for a cover, but Kumiko pushes her away and gets up to her knee. CG tries to pull her up, but Kumiko sweeps her legs from under her with an arm and quickly locks on the katahajime. CG struggles, but Kumiko pulls back and lays on her side, applying a legscisors around CG's midsecion and pulling back harder on the katahajime until CG taps out.)

Winner: Kumiko Indohara by submission

Tara: Kumiko Indohara is showing the world what she's going to bring into the Ladies Free for All at November Pain.

(Miss Vanessa shouts encouragement to Kumiko in Japanese as Kumiko refuses to release the hold. CG is tapping out frantically as the ref tries to break Kumiko's grip.)

Joel: This kind of thing is becoming a pattern in the Ladies matches.

Tara: Damn it, just let go. What is the point of this?

Joel: It might be more strategic than you think. One woman has already been taken out of the match before its begun, maybe Kumiko wants to thin the crowd a little before joining it.

(Miss Vanessa gets in the ring and continues to encourage Kumiko until CG stops moving for a short time and Kumiko lets go. Miss Vanessa gets a microphone.)

Vanessa: Shadow, you see here the woman who will soon wear the Ladies RCW Championship! Just eleven days and you shall see her hand raised and her name declaired as the number one contender. All who show themselves to be unworthy of respect and lacking in honor will eventually fall to the Indo-hajime.

(Kumiko grabs the microphone from her and stares down the aisle. She speaks for a few moments in Japanese and pauses.)

Kumiko: The Shadow falls forever soon...

("Battle Without Honor or Humanity" plays as she walks back out of the arena.)

(Backstage, Nykk is standing by with Zac Hensley.)

Zac: Nykk, just a little earlier tonight you made your presence felt in the RCW Television Championship Match when you attacked Austin Lee. Why after your victory at Homecoming Hell do you continue to antagonize...

(Nykk swipes the microphone away.)

Nykk: How stupid do you have to be to work backstage here? I mean honestly, do they make you fail an IQ test at the interview? You should know by now that I do what I want, when I want. Austin Lee pissed me off when he tried to be me for several months, and you can't possibly think that one night's beating is going to make me feel better. It'll be over between me and Austin Lee when he's back in his trailer on the outskirts of Troy Ohio wondering why he ever tried moving to the US in the first place.

(Austin Lee steps up behind Nykk as he continues to talk.)

Nykk: If Austin had taken my advice when I saw him first show up at the door of the old FPPVW Arena, he'd be back home by now as a plumber to the queen or a maker of fine bloodpudding or spotted dick or whatever crap they eat back in that backcrapwater country of his.

(During his speech, Austin quite calmly and casually picks up a steel chair and lifts it up. Nykk stops and turns around. Austin swings with the chair but Nykk jumps back out of the way. He laughs as be backs up quickly, turning to run out the door only to get hit by the Tail End DDT when Ronin Fox runs into the hallway. Nykk is laid out on the concrete floor, struggling up to his hands and knees. Austin steps forward and hits him in the back with the chair, then drops it to apply the Crimson Cloverleaf. Fox gets down on the floor in front of Nykk.)

Fox: I don't quite appreciate you ruining a damn good match. If you wanted in on the attention, why didn't you just ask? How about you pick yourself a partner, and we have a little party at November Pain?

(Nykk is bleeding from the head, and seems groggy. Austin lets go of the hold and he and Fox nod at each other before going thier separate ways, leaving Nykk down and almost out.)

(Commercial break.)

(Cynric walks into Jon Z's office.)

Jon: Good, I heard you wanted to chat.

Cynric: Yeah, I was wondering about November Pain.

Jon: And how I haven't booked a Tag Team Title match yet?

Cynric: Exactly. I know we haven't been on tv together lately, but you know me and Kevin Stone have been tearing it up week in and week out at the live events.

Jon: I know, and it's because of matches like yours that we're going to start taping live event matches to show on "This Week in RCW" but you aren't the only team that's been impressing me lately. That's why before November Pain goes on Pay Per View, we're going to be holding a tag team battle royale. Any team that wants a shot at the Pyro Twins on the Pay Per View can go in, and if either member of thier team is eliminated, they're out. Last team standing gets the title shot. A lot of people have been questioning me lately about how title matches are booked, so I'm going to make sure those title shots are earned for the world to see.

Cynric: If that's what it takes, that's what it takes. I'm going to get gold around this waist one way or another though, you'll see.

Jon: Looking forward to seeing that.

(Cynric nods and walks out of the office, Jay and Dusty are standing near the door.)

Jay: So, you're actually willing to fight, just to get into the ring with us.

Dusty: Seems like it should be the other way around. You fight to get away, the loser gets forced to face up to Final Darkness.

Jay: It's not like it matters who's in the ring with us, after all.

Cynric: You might want to rethink that. After all the trouble you had with those rookies the past few weeks, you might want to take some experienced fighters a little more seriously.

(Cynric smirks and walks away. Jay steps forward to grab him, but Dusty holds him back.)

Dusty: Later, we got a match now.

(They stare after Cynric and turn to leave.)

(Commercial break.)

(Eric Noe and Shawn Luss are in the ring. "Fuel" hits and the Pyro Twins make thier way to the ring.)

Tara: The Pyro Twins have been particularly irritable since last week when Jay Crowe actually lost to Dru Stoke.

Joel: Don't remind them of that, I'm still in shock that he lost to that rookie.

(Footage of the Dusty Schneble vs. Aaron Bowman and Jay Crow vs. Dru Stoke matches from last week is shown.)

Tara: These are two other graduates from the RCW Training Camp class of 2004. I don't know how well they'll fare against the Pyro Twins though.

Eric Noe and Shawn Luss vs. The Pyro Twins

(The Pyro Twins dominate the match from start to finish, drawing out the pain with Eric Noe as they make frequent tags and hit the Compactor and the Mandate of Heaven. Dusty shoves Eric into the corner and orders him to tag in Shawn. Shawn gets in the ring and tries for a shoulderblock. Dusty stands up to it and slaps Shawn before pulling him into a DDT. Dusty tags in Jay and picks up Shawn to hit the Rope Burn. Eric tries to get up again and fight, but Jay picks him up and hits the Overhaul. Both Jay and Dusty stomp on Eric and kick him out of the ring under the bottom rope as Shawn gets up to his feet. They hit Final Darkness and Jay covers for the pin.)

Winners: The Pyro Twins by pin.

(Jay puts Shawn in a triangle hold while Dusty starts stomping him.)

Joel: I know you want to say it.

Tara: What is there to say, these two are going over the line again. They destroyed these two in the match, what more do they want?

(Dusty goes outside and pulls out a table, setting it up outside the ring. He reaches into a pocket and starts spraying something onto the table. Producing a lighter next, he lights the table on fire as Jay gets up and pulls Eric into position for a powerbomb, looking to send him over the top rope through the table. Before Jay can lift, Dru Stoke runs up the aisle and hits Dusty with a forearm to the back. Jay drops Eric and slides outside.)

Tara: It's Dru! I think he just saved Eric Noe's life.

(Jay attacks Dru and they brawl up the aisle. Jay hits an STO on the floor. He stands up and Aaron Bowman runs out through the curtain and takes Jay down with a clothesline. Dusty is up again, and he charges Aaron. Aaron ducks a clothesline and pulls Dusy up for a jackhammer on the floor. Jay hits a chop block on Aaron and gets into the mount position for some hard punches. Concession Boy III and Concession Boy Sr. run out and attack Jay. Dusty is just getting to his feet, looking out of it, when Dru stands up and whips him into the steel guardrail. Johnny Kashmere comes out of the curtain and attacks him from behind with a double ax handle to the back. He pulls Dru into a full nelson as Chris Stylez comes out to lay into Dru with some hard kicks. Chris gets spun around by Cynric, who hits a side belly to belly suplex. After him, Kevin Stone, Aki Mann, Swinger, Christopher Daniels and Brother Jim all run out to join the brawl.)

Tara: I can't tell you what's going on, this is completely insane. Somewhere in that sea of fighters is our RCW Tag Team Champions, who will have to face one of the teams out here at November Pain.

Joel: It's going on before the Pay Per View. Okay I knew that, but I didn't know they meant almost two weeks before. These teams might not make it to November Pain.

Tara: We can't stick around to see how long this lasts, we're out of time. Thank you for watching Foundation, join us next week.
