Elizabeth City, NC

(The segment from This Week in RCW is shown in which Jon Z announces that he will face Nykk at Darkest Night. A video plays highlighting Nykk’s actions over the last few weeks to the tune of “Fly From the Inside”)

(“Prayer” opening, gives way to “Hit That” as Joey Sprinklers makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. We’re here in Elizabeth City North Carolina watching one of Nykk’s flunkies, on the road to seeing Nykk himself put the RCW Championship on the line against the owner of this very company, Jon Z. This is Tara Fisher, alongside Joel Gertner.

Joel: Nykk is going to be here tonight as well. He’ll face long time veteran Silver King.

Tara: The Ladies RCW Champion is in action also. Shadow faces both Concession Girl and Mary Alice Latino in a handicap match.

Joel: Chad Collyer steps in the ring with Cynric, and Swinging Justice take on the still unusual team of Christopher Daniels and Brother Jim.

(“Rico Suave” hits and Rico Casanova makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: Both these men have built a reputation in this company.

Joel: And that reputation is bad luck.

Tara: Joey Sprinklers gets by on his duties as part of the Heel Stable, though his in ring work usually ends up with him starring at the ceiling Rico Casanova has had his own troubles, going back to his recent return from rehab. This could be the start of a good series of wins for him.

Joel: That’s what he’s hoping for.

Joey Sprinklers vs. Rico Casanova

(Rico and Joey circle. Joey goes to lock up, but slips to the side while raking Rico’s eyes. Rico covers his face and gets caught with a reverse DDT. Joey keeps him grounded with a series of leg trips and headlocks. Rico fights out of a side headlock and sends Joey to the ropes. He misses with a clothesline and Joey tries for a running neckbreaker. Rico grabs the ropes and Joey falls to the mat alone. Rico runs the ropes and hits a dropkick to the side that slides Joey under the bottom rope. Joey gets to his feet and gets caught with a plancha. Rico slides back in the ring. Joey climbs up on the apron and slides in at the count of 7. Rico stomps on him and tries to pull him into a fishermen’s suplex. He lifts Joey up but Joey blocks and lifts Rico up for Da Sprinklinator. Rico hooks his foot on the second rope and lands back on his feet. He breaks away from Joey and stuns him with a forearm shot, setting him up and hitting the Cassanovator for the pin.)

Winner: Rico Casanova by pin.

(Backstage, Cynric walks out of Jon Z’s office. Kevin Stone steps up to him.

Kevin: Where have you been?

Cynric: What? I was talking to Jon.

Kevin: I’m not talking about now, I’m talking about all this month. Whenever we get to a new city I leave you a message of the best gym I can find, and you never show up.

Cynric: I found my own gyms.

Kevin: You want to pick the gym, fine, but let me know. We’ve got to work on our team if we’re going to get anywhere.

Cynric: I know where I’m going already. I just requested a title shot.

Kevin: Well that’s just great. What basis do we have to get another shot at the Pyro Twins? We’ve got to get out there and score some victories.

Cynric: You score your own victories. I just requested a world title shot.

(Kevin takes a step back and shakes his head.)

Kevin: That’s it then? You vanish from all view while I try and keep together a team you’ve already left?

Cynric: Could be worse.

Kevin: What?

Cynric: I haven’t thrown you through a plate glass window, have I?

(Cynric walks away.)

(Commercial break.)

(Backstage, Brother Jim is wandering through the halls, looking in various doors. He passes by one and the camera stays behind to look inside. Christopher Daniels is sitting there.)

Chris: You have no idea. I mean, he never asked me to be on his team, he just introduced himself as my partner. He just assumed.

(The camera enters the room to show Swinger sitting on the other side of the room.)

Swinger: Trust me, I know how it goes. You think I picked Aki? He just said he liked what my name represented, the pendulum of justice or something like that. Of course all that is on top of Jon’s insistence that I keep acting like my old partner. I mean…”Simon Says” something. That makes sense. “Swinger says?” What the hell? Then I have to have a problem whenever I get the mic. I got so sick of it I just let Aki do the talking. Yeah, that was smart.

Chris: Well, we’re on next. I wonder if old BJ got the music like I asked.

Swinger: What music?

Chris: He said he needed a new team theme song. He wanted my suggestion.

Swinger: And you suggested what?

Chris: What else? Personal Jesus. Figured a little Manson wouldn’t hurt him.

Swinger: Ha! But wait, what if he gets the Depeshmode version?

Chris: Hmm…I didn’t think of that. Ah well, still a good song.

(Back in the arena, the Aki Mann theme hits and Aki Mann makes his way to the ring. After a few moments, Swinger follows him out.)

Tara: We’ve seen these two teams tangle in the past.

Joel: I don’t think I’ve seen a two opposing teams before with opposing members having just a…rapport.

(“Personal Jesus” by Johnny Cash hits and Brother Jim makes his way to the ring. Christopher Daniels follows him after a few moments. He throws back his hood and looks up oddly, listening to the song. He shrugs and walks to the ring.)

Swinging Justice vs. Brother Jim and Christopher Daniels

(Swinger starts against Brother Jim. They lock up and Swinger quickly ducks behind for a hammerlock. BJ struggles and brings Swinger over in a snapmare. Swinger moves with the momentum to roll back to his feet and run the ropes, hitting a running leg lariat on BJ. He pulls BJ to his feet to hit a swinging cradle neckbreaker before tagging in Aki.)

(Aki poses for the crowd before climbing to the top rope and hitting a guillotine legdrop. He covers for a two count while Swinger yells to keep moving. Aki gets up and pulls BJ up to whip him into the corner. He charges and gets caught with a boot to the face. BJ takes Aki down with a bulldog and immediately goes outside to hit the Leap of Faith somersault guillotine legdrop. He gets a two count when Aki grabs the bottom rope. BJ yells with frustration and pulls Aki up. He sets him up for a back suplex, but Aki falls behind him on his feet and spins BJ around for an armbar DDT. BJ rolls to the corner and tags in Chris.)

(Chris gets in and hits Aki with the Fall From Grace. He covers for two and pulls Aki into a side headlock. Aki fights and tries to break free, but Chris easily flips him onto his back and applies more pressure. Aki hooks a leg on the bottom rope, and Chris pulls him roughly to his feet. He hits a release German suplex and points to the top rope. He goes up top and hits the Best Moonsault Ever. BJ jumps in the ring and dropkicks Swinger off the apron. The ref tries to get BJ out of the ring, but BJ brushes past him and runs the ropes, missing a plancha on Swinger. Swinger ducks out of the way and picks up BJ as Chris hits the Angel’s Wings. Swinger hits a spinebuster on BJ as Chris gets the pin fall.)

Winners: Christopher Daniels and Brother Jim by pin.

Tara: Swinger couldn’t get back in time to save Aki.

Joel: Was he even trying?

(Swinger shakes his head and turns away from the ring, starting to walk to the back.)

(Brother Jim grabs the mic.)

BJ: Now you see the punishment for your sinful ways! You shall be an example of all those who stand in the way of the righteous, and the avenging angel.

(Chris turns and leaves the ring, rolling his eyes.)

BJ: Christopher Daniels, return. We must show the nonbelievers the payment for doubting the truth!

(Chris turns back toward the ring. He walks back and slides into the ring as BJ continues to talk.)

BJ: You shall be the holy weapon that helps me purge RCW of wickedness and usher in a new era of rightousne…

(Chris smacks BJ and tosses him over the top rope easily. The crowd cheers as Chris leans on the ropes shaking his head and Aki gets up to his feet. Aki picks up the microphone.)

Aki: I may have lost the fight today, but you see right here that true justice will always prevail!

(Chris backhands Aki and hits him with the Angels Wings. He grabs the microphone.)

Chris: I am no one’s holy weapon, and I don’t give a damn about your justice. Jon Z, you think you can control me? You think you can contain me? You think you can protect your precious main eventers by hiding the Fallen Angels among these rejects. We can play that way if you want, but soon you’re going to run out of rejects.

(He tosses the mic away and pulls Aki back up to his feet. He shoves him in the corner and smacks him across the face several times before throwing him down in the middle of the ring. He goes to the top rope and tries for the Best Moonsault Ever, but Swinger runs in suddenly and pulls Aki out of the way. He helps Aki out of the ring as Chris stands up and pulls Swinger around to face him. Chris yells at Swinger and puts out his hand. Swinger looks at it and throws a right hand that sends Chris down. Swinger slides out of the ring and helps Aki to the back.

Tara: Looks like the rapport is long gone between those two.

Joel: Once Aki was in serious trouble, we got to see the real Swinger. I’ve got to say, it’s enough to make you sick.

Tara: Swinger stood up to defend his partner. Christopher Daniels looks irate.

(Chris picks up Brother Jim on the outside and whips him into the ring steps before leaving.)

(Commercial break)

(“Pajamarama” hits and Huh walks to the ring.)

Tara: Welcome back to Foundation. We’ve got action on the way right here. Huh, one half of the Eccentrics has had issues with the Pyro Twins since the first day he’s stepped in the ring. Tonight is just one more chapter in their story, as Huh believes Dusty Schneble and Jay Crowe had something to do with the sudden disappearance of Huh’s partner, Cheesecake.

(“Fuel” hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring. Half way up the aisle, Dru Stoke runs down the aisle and hits a chop block on Jay. He starts stomping on Jay’s leg as Dusty turns around. Dusty charges with a clothesline, but Dru ducks under it and pulls Jay up to his feet. He hits a brainbuster on Jay and jumps over the barricade, yelling along the way as security start to converge.)

Dru: You think you can ship us out of the way? We’re coming back, and we’re taking those damn titles!

Tara: Dru Stoke? I haven’t seen him in weeks.

Joel: Dru is part of the re-emergence of FPPVW, which is being set up back in Dayton Ohio right now. Dru and his partner Aaron Bowman were placed on the roster as developmental talent.

Tara: Is he trying to say the Pyro Twins are the reason they’re no longer active here in RCW?

(Dusty gets in the ring as a ref and EMT check on Jay.)

Huh vs. Dusty Schneble

(Dusty dominates the match, starting with a hard smack and quickly backing Huh into the corner for a series of strong kicks and stomps. Dusty backs up and hits a clothesline in the corner that gets Huh stumbling out. Dusty chopblocks Huh’s knee and goes up to the top rope to hit a kneedrop. Dusty goes for a cover, but pulls Huh up before the three count. Jay is back on his feet at ringside, holding a towel against his head to stop the bleeding from being busted open at Dru’s brainbuster.)

(Dusty hits a teardrop suplex on Huh as Jay yells for Dusty to finish him off. Dusty pulls Huh up again and whips him to the ropes. Dusty drops down to let Huh rebound over him, but Jay grabs Huh’s foot to trip him. Huh falls and headbutts Dusty hard. Huh gets up quick, holding his head. Jay gets up on the apron. Huh sees him and tries to take a swing at him. Jay drops back while Huh bounces off the ropes, loses his balance again and drops butt first on Dusty’s chest. He gets the three count.)

Winner: Huh by pin.

(Jay slides into the ring and dives at Huh, but Huh rolls to the outside and stumbles away.)

Tara: Where did Huh come from there?

Joel: That was the dumbest looking victory I’ve ever seen.

Tara: I have to agree. I don’t know if Huh even realizes he won.

Joel: We’ve got another break, gotta pay the bills and all. When we come back, the Ladies Champion will be in action.

(Commercial break.)

(“Run Rabbit Junk” plays as Mary Alice Latino makes her way to the ring. Concession Girl is already inside warming up.)

(“Stay In Shadow” hits and Shadow makes her way to the ring.)

Joel: Three women, one ring, if the censors would allow it the jokes write themselves.

Tara: Well, it’s not too much longer before pay per view. Maybe I should stay at a safe distance that day.

(Naomi Leach appears by the entrance. She leans against the guardrail and watches silently.)

Shadow vs. Concession Girl and Mary Alice Latino

(Concession Girl starts the match against Shadow, M’Alice on the apron. Shadow watches CG silently, CG seemingly nervous. She looks back at M’Alice, who encourages her to lock up. CG tries to lock up, but Shadow falls backward and takes her down with a drop toe hold. CG jumps back to her feet as Shadow stands up calmly. CG tries to charge Shadow, but Shadow leapfrogs over her and pushes her into the corner. CG bounces back and Shadow catches her for a German suplex, bridging for a two count.)

(CG slides out of the ring. Shadow stands calmly in the center of the ring, waiting. CG climbs up on the apron and Shadow charges suddenly. She jumps up on the top rope and hops down into a flying headscisors that sends CG tumbling to the floor. Shadow lands in a crouch next to the ring. M’Alice jumps behind Shadow and catches her with a double axhandle. She pushes Shadow back into the ring and waits for Shadow to stand before springboarding into a missile dropkick. M’Alice goes for a cover, getting a one count. Shadow rolls away and gets up to her feet. CG slides in the ring and jumps on Shadow’s back for a sleeper hold. Shadow drops to one knee before powering up and backing CG hard into the corner. Shadow turns around with a hard elbow strike. She steps back and tosses CG over the top rope. CG lands on the apron and holds onto Shadow, cinching her up to try and suplex her out of the ring. Shadow counters and lands on the apron alongside CG. Shadow hits a high kick to the back of CG’s head that stuns her and makes her collapse against the ropes. M’Alice charges at Shadow, but Shadow ducks back and pulls the top rope, low bridging M’Alice out to the floor while sliding under the bottom rope back into the ring. Shadow turns to CG and pulls her roughly into the ring, applying a Dragon Sleeper and adding a body scissors. CG taps out.)

Winner: Shadow by submission.

Tara: Shadow with an impressive victory here tonight. What’s Naomi doing out here though?

Joel: She hasn’t done anything, she’s just scouting.

Tara: Why does she need to scout? She worked with Shadow for months, she trained along side her, she used her as backup and insurance. Tonight it was almost as if she was just admiring the match.

Joel: It might seem a change of pace for Naomi, but it’s certainly nothing I can blame her for.

Tara: Well we’re moving on to another RCW mainstay next. Cynric surprised his partner Kevin Stone with his request for a world title shot.

Joel: Cynric is finally realizing the kind of killer instinct needed to reach gold here in RCW. Kevin Stone has shown a lot of potential, right from his first days in the Heel Stable. Once he left that stable, he lost a lot of the edge that was getting him by in this business. Cynric is doing the right thing in distancing himself from a friend, who has done nothing but bring him down.

Tara: Well, that’s one take on it. I don’t necessarily agree that Kevin was bringing anyone down. The environment here in RCW will always be highly competitive, and they’ve gone against some very tough opponents.

Joel: That may be true, but how have they improved as a team in that time? The way you get better, is by going against the best, many people have said that over the years. If you’re dealing with a team, though, you can only be as good as the weakest link. I think Cynric is ready for more success than Kevin Stone can deal with.

(“Soul Creation” hits and Cynric makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: This match was made just today as a result of Cynric’s conversation with Jon Z. Cynric is going up against a man who’s fought for the RCW Championship in the past in a few main event matches.

(“Son of a Bitch” hits and Chad Collyer makes his way to the ring.)

Cynric vs. Chad Collyer

(Chad rolls in the ring and Cynric immediately charges with a spinning heel kick. Chad gets up fast and pulls off his ring jacket. Cynric charges again with a clothesline, but Chad ducks under it and pushes Cynric face first into the corner. Chad tries to roll Cynric up with a schoolboy, but Cynric rolls through and to his feet, jumping into a dropkick to Chad’s head. Chad rolls under the bottom rope and gets up on the apron. Cynric goes to attack him, but Chad hits a kick over the middle rope to the ribs that stuns Cynric for a sunset flip and a two count.)

(Chad pulls Cynric up and launches him into the ropes. Chad drops his head and Cynric leapfrogs over him. Chad turns and gets caught with a hangman’s neckbreaker. Cynric applies a front face lock, attacking Chad with knee strikes. Chad tries to lift Cynric for a northern lights suplex, but Cynric counters into a ddt, getting a two count.)

(Cynric backs up as Chad stands. Cynric goes for the Lift Off, but Chad ducks his head and stands up quickly behind Cynric, lifting him up into position for a spinning death valley driver. He turns, and Cynric drops off of his shoulders and hits a dropkick to the knee. He pulls Chad up to hit the Shock Cannon for a pin fall.)

Winner: Cynric by pin.

Joel: That is how you make a statement!

Tara: An amazing match, and Cynric has definitely impressed this crowd. Will it be enough for Jon Z though?

(Cynric walks through the curtain to backstage. He is shown walking by Jon Z, who stops him.)

Jon: Good work tonight.

Cynric: Good enough?

Jon: I’d say you’ve got yourself a title shot.

Cynric: You’ve made the right decision.

(He shakes Jon’s hand.)

Cynric: When am I getting this shot?

Jon: As soon as possible. In fact, I’m scheduling it for Darkest Night.

Cynric: Darkest Night? I thought you were facing Nykk yourself.

Jon: I am. Before that, you will be competing for the RCW Television Championship.

Cynric: Wait, what?

Jon: For the first time in RCW history, we will see brother versus brother. Cynric vs. Ronin Fox. I look forward to it.

(Jon walks away, Cynric stares after him.)

(Commercial break.)

(“Crazy Train” hits and Silver King makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: I’m still reeling from what we heard before the break. Cynric will face Ronin Fox in one week at Darkest Night for the RCW Television Championship.

Joel: This could be an incredible match, as long as they don’t let that whole “compassion and concern” crap get between them just because they’re brothers.

(“Destroy” hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: Before we get there, though, we’ve got to get through tonight. Right here we have our RCW Champion in his last match before defending the title against the owner of this company himself.

Joel: A lot of people might not know how serious this is. Jon Z is not just some guy in a suit. He is trained for the ring, in fact he trained most of the original roster of FPPVW himself, including the champion.

Nykk vs. Silver King

(After the introduction, Nykk and King circle each other. King aims some kicks at Nykk’s legs, Nykk taking it easily or avoiding contact. Nykk aims a kick of his own, King catching it and taking Nykk down in a dragon screw legwhip. King hits the ropes while Nykk stands up. King goes for a dropkick, but Nykk deflects it and forces King to the mat with a fujiwara armbar. Nykk releases King’s arm and applies an ankle lock. King fights the hold and grabs the bottom rope. Nykk releases the hold and kicks at King’s hand before pulling him back toward the middle of the ring and re-applying the ankle lock. King seems about to tap, but then he fights to turn over and kick Nykk away. King kips up to his feet and steps through the ropes to the apron. Nykk stands and gets caught with a catapult somersault senton.)

(Both get to their feet, King setting Nykk up for a shoulder spin powerbomb and a two count. Nykk tries to crawl out of the ring, but King pulls him back by his foot and tries to apply the Silver Surfer, but Nykk refuses to let King get hold of his arms. Nykk pulls himself to the ropes and lifts himself up, throwing King back. Nykk stands and locks up with King. King pushes Nykk against the ropes and the ref tries to break them apart. Nykk falls to a knee and hits a low blow on King that goes undetected. Nykk gets behind King and hits the Trinity suplexes, following up with the Bellbrookville Cedarleaf. Silver King taps out.)

Winner: Nykk by submission.

Tara: Let’s look at that again. I think the message was very clear.

(A replay is shown of Nykk applying the Bellbrookville Cedarleaf, the camera angle this time showing Nykk head on as he yells out, “Jon, you’re next in line. Step up, while you can.”)

Joel: I don’t know if Nykk is taking Jon lightly, but it will definitely be one hell of a match.

Tara: Don’t forget to tune in next week as we’ll start off Darkest Night right here on Foundation before going live on Pay Per View. That’s all for us tonight, thank you for watching.
