-FPPVW Breakout July 27, 2003 (Jon climbs into the ring, looking around the gymnasium. 159 people are crammed into the bleachers.) Jon: Welcome everyone, to the gymnasium at Sinclair Community College, for another night of FPPVW! I’m Jon Z! (Pauses as he actually gets a few people chanting his name.) We’re in for an action packed evening tonight. In a few short minutes we’ll being going out live on DATV. Just for you, though, we’re about to present a special bonus match. The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a twenty minute time limit… Lisa Letty vs. Vix. Finish: Lisa wins with the Letty Press. (Match Rating: 42) Tara: Welcome everyone to FPPVW Breakout. I’m Tara Fisher, here with Alex Pagnetti. Alex: Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen, I’m here for the first time in FPPVW and we’re live from Sinclair here in downtown Dayton! Our main event tonight will feature the crowning of the first ever FPPVW Champion, the belt going to the winner of a three way dance, Fox, Nykk, and Alan Mayse. Tara: It may be a month late to say, but enough talk. Lets shut up and wrestle! (Linkin Park’s “Faint” hits and Kai makes her way to the ring.) Naomi Leach vs. Kai Kitta vs. Kara Draxus Alex: We’re starting it out with a three way dance. Elimination style rules tonight. Tara: Last month Naomi and Kai fought to a draw, lets see if adding Kara Draxus to the mix changes things up. Finish: Kai whips Kara to the corner and charges with a clothesline. Kara collapses against the turnbuckles as Kai turns around and is met with a high kick that sends her back against Kara. Naomi backs up and hits a handspring back elbow. She goes for the cover on Kai, but only gets a two. She sets up Kai for a slingshot and launches her back into the arms of Kara, who recovers in time to deliver the Draxus Driver and pick up a quick pin. As Kara celebrates and Kai rolls to the outside, Naomi lines up and delivers a dropkick as soon as Kara turns to her. She tries to lock on the Leach Hold, but Kara grabs the ropes. Naomi lets go and Kara knocks the ref aside, rolling to the outside to grab a chair. She slides in and goes to hit Naomi, but Kai slides in after her and snatches the chair away. Using the distraction, Naomi kicks Kara in the midsection and sets up for a piledriver and the pin. (Match Rating: 50) Alex: Kara tried to steal a victory there, but Kai wasn’t going to stand for her using a chair. Looks like this might explode here. (Kai and Kara lock eyes for a few moments, Kara eventually backing off to leave.) (As the ring clears, Jon Z makes his way down the isle holding a clipboard.) Jon: Hello again, Dayton Ohio! Tara: Get the pop anyway you can, Jon. Jon: I am happy tonight to introduce the newest addition to the FPPVW roster. A man who can be a driving force behind elevating us to greater heights, a man who can capture the imagination of present and future fans, and a man who is actually here. I checked before I came out this time. Alex: Well there’s some good news. Jon: Ladies and Gentlemen! Our newest superstar, Jett Taylor! (“Man in the Box” plays, because we have nothing better to play, as Jett walks to the ring.) Jon: In a business that is packed with half truths and liars in charge, I have delivered! Here is the crowd you needed, and here is the contract you deserve. (hands the contract to Jett) Jett: (grabbing the mic instead) That’s great, Jon. I appreciate it. What I’ll appreciate more is a little addition to that contract. (Jon gives Jett a look, possibly confusion, possibly anger) From what I hear you have yourself a big main event match tonight. Finally crowning a champion. Congratulations. (he pauses and takes the contract and looks it over) I’m not signing this here. You are going to take it to the back, add a stipulation that I get in on that title match right here tonight, and your “newest superstar” will take his place where he belongs, right at the top and calling the shots for this shitty promotion. (He drops the contract and mic and walks away, leaving Jon fuming in the ring. (Segment Rating: 49) Alex: What the hell was that? (“Fuel” hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring, Tara too confused to comment on the last segment.) Eccentrics vs. Pyro Twins. Finish: After almost no offence from the Eccentrics, Dusty is left in the ring kicking Cheesecake in the corner. He tags Jay in and holds Cheesecake for a kick, but Cheesecake moves and Dusty gets floored. Cheesecake tries to crawl to the corner for the tag but Jay grabs his leg. Cheesecake struggles to get his other foot under him while Jay still holds on, he tries for an enziguri, but Jay drops the leg and ducks, this frees Cheesecake to spin around and use his momentum for the tag. Huh jumps in, looking pumped up, and immediately gets knocked on his ass by a right hand from Jay. Jay whips Huh to the Pyro Twins’ corner, and tags in Dusty. They set Huh up for Final Darkness but he falls over before they hit it. Dusty drags Huh to his feet, but Huh sneaks in an unexpected kick to the stomach that knocks Dusty down. Jay, still in the ring, spins Huh around, but Huh pushes him roughly into the corner. He backs up and hits a splash in the corner, and as Huh moves out of the way, Jay falls with a headbutt to Dusty’s groin. Jay stands up and Huh rushes with another splash attempt. Jay tumbles out of the ring to avoid the contact and Huh jumps to high, hitting his head on the ringpost, bouncing and falling backward, ass first, right on Dusty. The ref sees Dusty’s shoulders down and counts the pin. (Match Rating: 47) Alex: What the, he just won by accident! Tara: You take what you can get. Huh’s first victory, and it’s all thanks to his…well, his ass. (Jay get in the ring, clotheslining Cheesecake who had come in to celebrate, before turning his attention to Huh. He pulls Huh up, who is still dazed, and proceeds to beat the hell out of him, Dusty joining in soon afterward. After a minute worth, they finally hit Final Darkness.) (Ronin Fox is backstage, walking out of Jon Z’s office, Nykk is outside, apparently having already been in there.) Nykk: Told you the same thing? Fox: (nods, then looks over at the camera, as if noticing it for the first time) See you out there. (Walks away quickly) (Segment Rating: 57) (The camera goes inside the office to see Jon Z at a desk with Concession Boy grinning like a madman nearby) Jon: I have to say, I’m impressed. After the beating you took, I didn’t think you’d come back. Of course I never thought you’d win your match, either. Concession Boy: I suppose I’m full of surprised. I even thought of a new catchphrase. (Jon smiles and waits to hear it) Concession Boy: (Clears throat) HOLLA, IF YOU BEER ME! Jon: (No longer smiling) If you ever make me think of Scott Steiner again, I will demote you to Toilet Cleaning Boy. You have a match to get to, so get out of my office! (Concession Boy picks up his tray of beer and walks out, looking depressed. On the way out the door, Huh is limping by) Huh: Oh, hi. Did you try that new catch phrase I gave you on him? Concession Boy: Yeah, but he didn’t like it. Said it reminded him of Scott Steiner. Huh: Who? Concession Boy: I don’t know, anyway, congratulations on winning your match. Huh: I won? (Segment Rating: 24) Concession Boy vs. Joey Sprinklers (Joey Sprinklers is already at ringside, rolling around the protective mats on a skateboard, trying his best to look badass.) Alex: This is an interesting young man, I saw him earlier today with that skateboard. He was jumping over a sprinkler he put in the sidewalk out front. Apparently that’s his favorite pastime outside the ring. Tara: About time someone explained where he got a name like that. It always confused me. (“Lets All Go To the Lobby” hits and Concession Boy makes his way to the ring, still carrying his beer tray.) Finish: After a brutally bad match, Joey goes outside and grabs his skateboard, making like he’s going to hit Concession Boy. Referee Becky Junker snatches it away from him and Concession Boy kicks him and delivers a Dr. bomb for the pin. (Match Rating: 36) Alex: Mercifully it’s over, Concession Boy hitting his very own “Dr. Bob Beer Bomb” and we’d like to thank Dr. Bob Beer for sponsoring tonight’s event. Tara: Well we only have one match left tonight, our big four way dance to crown the first ever FPPVW Champion. Alex: It’s going to be awhile before that champion defends his title, however. If you’re planning on going to next month’s big FPPVW event…don’t! There isn’t going to be one. Tara: Don’t worry, we’re just taking a one-month hiatus during a restructuring. One that will result not only in our monthly offerings here on DATV, but also in FPPVW Foundation! Alex: Check us out starting September 5, every Friday night on WB 38. (Alan Mayse is shown backstage, warming up and walking out of his locker room)(Segment Rating: 64) Alan Mayse vs. Jett Taylor vs. Ronin Fox vs. Nykk FPPVW Championship Elimination Four-Way-Dance (As soon as the bell rings, Alan, Fox, and Nykk all descend on Jett and pummel him. Fox quickly throws him to the outside and gets blindsided by Nykk. The two lock up and fight into a corner as Alan climbs the turnbuckle and hits a cross body on Jett, leaving both of them laying on the concrete floor.) Alex: It looks like Jett has failed to make friends here on his first day. Tara: I’m not shocked, I know I can’t stand him. Finish: Fox and Nykk only stop their assault on each other to occasionally cause some more damage to Jett. One after the other, Fox delivers the Tail-End DDT and Nykk the Aurora Driver. As Alan stomp on Jett, Fox and Nykk square off again, Nykk clotheslining Fox out of the ring and following him with a suicide dive that leaves them both laying on the concrete with no signs of movement. The ref counts them out as Alan sets Jett up for a Tiger Bomb, getting the pin.(Match Rating: 55) Tara: We have our first champion! Alan Mayse with a harsh looking Tiger Bomb has stood up as FPPVW Champion. Alex: What a way to end Breakout! Ladies and Gentlemen thank you for joining us here tonight. For Tara Fisher, I’m Alex Pagnetti, good night Dayton! |
