FPPVW Homecoming Hell. October 12, 2003

Bellbrookville High School

(The standard “Prayer” opening is followed by “Faint” as Kai Kitta and Naomi Leach make their way to the ring.)

Tara: Welcome everyone, to Bellbrookville High School’s gymnasium, we’re about to kick off the night with some tag team action.

Dick: I’m Dick Broccoli, here with Tara Fisher, and this is Homecoming Hell!

(Kara Draxus and Erica Porter, already in the ring, debate who will start the match.)

Kara Draxus and Erica Porter vs. Naomi Leach and Kai Kitta

Finish: Kara and Erica isolate Kai through most of the match. Erica keeps her grounded with a half crab while yelling at Naomi. Naomi tries to charge in, but gets caught by the ref, triggering the double team on Kai. Kara and Erica switch without a tag, but the ref allows it as Kara re-applied the half crab. Kai struggles to the ropes and kicks back at Kara’s leg to knock her down. She reaches for the tag as Kara tries to pull her back. Erica runs in to distract the ref as Kai makes the tag. When the ref turns around Naomi is ordered back to the corner, the ref claiming he didn’t see a tag. Getting frustrated, Naomi storms past the ref, takes Kara down with a german suplex, then sends Erica out of the ring with a high dropkick. Turning to Kai, she drags her partner to her corner, steps out of the ring, gets the tag, and comes back in. Kara’s still down, so Naomi puts her in her STF “The Leach Hold” but Erica tries to slide back in. Still groggy, Kai runs back in to keep her at bay, but the ref keeps them separated, pulling Kai back to the corner as Kara starts tapping out. Erica jumps back up on the apron with a chair and blasts Naomi in the head. The ref turns around as Kara turns Naomi over for the pin.

Winner: Kara Draxus and Erica Porter by pin. Match Rating: 66

Tara: That was some of the worst officiating I’ve seen in an FPPVW ring. Kai and Naomi got robbed here tonight.

Dick: Unfortunately that seems pretty standard when you deal with tag team competition, one ref cannot possibly see all the action from inside that ring.

(“Fuel” hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring, before Kai and Naomi are out of sight)

Tara: Well, I guess we don’t have any filler tonight, the Pyro Twins are wasting no time.

(“Pajamarama” hits and the Eccentrics dance to the ring.)

Pyro Twins vs. The Eccentrics

Finish: Pyro Twins make frequent tags, stomping Huh down pretty consistently. He makes the hot tag to Cheesecake, and Dusty backs away from the strange look on Cheesecake’s face. Cheesecake goes for a waistlock, letting Dusty struggle a bit longer than necessary before rolling up for a two count. Dusty kicks out, sending Cheesecake stumbling into the Pyro Twins corner. Dusty takes a swing at Huh and the ref tries to pull them apart while Jay hits the Overhaul on Cheesecake. With the chaos settling down, Dusty hits the Rope Burn on Cheesecake for the pin.

Winner: The Pyro Twins by pin. Match Rating: 64

(The Pyro Twins put the boots to the Eccentrics)

Tara: Come on now, you already won the match.

Dick: The Pyro Twins want to make sure this is the last time they have to deal with these two.

(From the crowd, two men jump the guardrail and storm the ring, taking down Jay and Dusty)

Dick: What the…That’s Matt Striker! And Chad Collyer! Striker and Collyer have just invaded a FPPVW ring.

(Striker and Collyer toss the Pyro Twins out and help the Eccentrics back to their feet)

Tara: Well this is an interesting wrinkle.

(Segment Rating: 62)

Tara: The action is going to keep coming, on their way out next will be Austin Lee and Cynric, a match just added this past Friday.

(Footage of the challenge from Friday is shown as Austin Lee makes his entrance)

(“Soul Creation” hits and Cynric rushes the ring, immediately laying Austin Lee out with right hands)

Austin Lee vs. Cynric

Finish: Cynric dominates most of the match with fast kicks and a few mat maneuvers. Kevin Stone makes his way out to ringside, nonchalantly tripping Cynric as he runs the ropes. Cynric rolls out to the apron while Kevin is showing off to the crowd and hits a dropkick to the back that sends him against the guardrail. As Kevin stumbles, turning around, Cynric hits the Lift-Off. He rolls back into the ring celebrating, and walks right into a kick that might have been too low and a Degenerate Driver for the pin.

Winner: Austin Lee by pin Match Rating: 58

Dick: Cynric has to be disappointed, only his second match back, and one he held control of for so long, and he gets knocked down a peg by Austin Lee.

Tara: But what does Kevin Stone have to do with this? Has Austin joined the Heel Stable?

(Austin goes out to help Kevin up, handing over a small wad of dollar bills as he does.)

Dick: Well some mysteries are easily solved.

(Backstage, Huh walks into Jon Z’s office.)

Jon: What do you want?

Huh: I just had an idea, an apostrophe if you will.

Jon: You mean a…never mind, just tell me what it is.

Huh: I was thinking about the next couple DATV events we have, you know the next two months.

Jon: Yeah?

Huh: Our next one is November 16.

Jon: I know, I scheduled it.

Huh: It’s called November Pain.

Jon: (sighs) I know, I wasn’t happy with the name. I just…

Huh: It’s clever because it’s in November, and sounds like November Rain. You know the song.

Jon: Y…yeah, that was the point.

Huh: Well we don’t have a name for out December event yet, so I was trying to think of one.

Jon: I’m afraid to ask.

Huh: My suggestion: “Yule Be Sorry”

(Jon is too stunned to speak)

Huh: You see if you say it, like I just said, it just sounds like You’ll, or You Will.

Jon: Huh…

Huh: But we’ll spell it “Y-U-L-E” Like the old name for the Winter Solstice.

Jon: I know what Yule is…

Huh: It’ll be a pun, just like the month before…

Jon: Get out…

Huh: So it’ll be like a theme. Yule, get it?

Jon: (standing up) GET OUT OF MY OFFICE!!!

Huh: (jumps back) I can see you’re busy. Get back to me, okay? (exits)

Jon: (settling into his chair) Goddess help me…

(Segment Rating: 61)

(“Seven Nation Army” hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring)

Dick: This match was just signed earlier today, Alan Mayse was looking for any way to be part of tonight’s event.

Tara: We caught up with Alan earlier tonight, and he had this to say.

(An interview with Alan is shown)

Alan: Here I am, the first ever FPPVW Champion, and people think I’m going to stay at home? As long as I’m breathing, I’m going to be in that ring. I don’t know who I’m in there with, it doesn’t matter to me, it’s all one more step to getting back to the top of the mountain here in FPPVW. Fox, good luck with my spot tonight, no matter what happens I’ll be right behind you.

(“Sad But True” hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring)

Alan Mayse vs. Kevin Stone

Finish: Kevin and Alan keep the match even as Joey Sprinklers runs out to ringside. Kevin reverses a whip to the ropes, Alan ducks a clothesline and hits a plancha that takes out Joey. Not wasting time, Alan slides back into the ring and trades punches with Kevin. Alan whips Kevin into the ropes, Kevin tries for a spear but Alan leapfrogs and Kevin overshoots, landing with his chest on the middle rope. Alan sets him up and hits the Tiger Bomb for the pin.

Winner: Alan Mayse by pin Match Rating: 67

Tara: A decisive win for Alan Mayse. A man with a legitimate gripe, not being in the main event tonight.

Dick: The next match was created this past Friday, though it’s been building since FPPVW’s inception. Lets take a look.

(A video of the ongoing Nykk/Ronin Fox feud is shown, including the end of the Fox/Alan match from Foundation.)

(Segment Rating: 76)

Dick: For some reason, Nykk picked his opponent this past Friday, lets see if it was a wise decision.

(“Wherever I May Roam” hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)

Dick: Fox might not have liked how he got this match, but he sure as hell wasn’t about to pass it up.

Tara: Fox has been kept away from the FPPVW Championship since it was first crowned, he’s been getting more and more frustrated. Will this be the night Nykk lets it go?

(“My Way” hits and Nykk and the Heel Stable make their way out to the ring.)

Tara: This is already the third time we’ve seen Kevin Stone out here tonight, and the second time we’ve seen Joey Sprinklers. You just know they’re going to try and force their way into this match.

Ronin Fox vs. Nykk
FPPVW Championship Match

Finish: Fox comes back late in the match and rallies with a series of suplexes. He signals for the Tail End, but as he lifts Nykk, Nykk swings his leg to “inadvertently” kick the ref in the head, sending him down and out. Vix throws in a couple chairs as Kevin and Joey set up and miss a con-chair-to when Fox ducks. He attacks Kevin, backing him up to the ropes, then moves out of the way as Joey charges and lets him take himself and Kevin out of the ring. He turns to Nykk in time to catch a chair to the head. Nykk applies the Bellbrookville Cedarleaf. The ref revives and checks on Fox, dropping his hand twice. On the third drop, he stretches and reaches the ropes. Nykk shows his frustration and sets up for Howling Moon II. It’s blocked once, but not twice and Nykk gets the pin.

Winner: Nykk by pin Match Rating: 85

(The Heel Stable storm the ring and start beating down on Fox. Out of the back runs Alan Mayse, sliding in as the ring clears. He helps Fox us and they exchange a few words.)

Tara: These two have both had their problems with the Heel Stable, perhaps they should find some way to work together. Without some kind of support I don’t see how anyone can dethrone the current champion.

(Alan kicks Fox and delivers a Tiger Bomb)

Dick: Well screw that! I guess Alan took it a bit more personally than we thought that Fox took the number one contenders spot.

(The Heel Stable back away, Nykk smiling as he puts his belt on)
