FPPVW November Pain. November 16, 2003

Troy-Hobart Arena

Dark match: Cheesecake defeats Aki Mann with the Long Kiss Goodnight. (Match Quality: 63)

(The standard "Prayer" opening is replaced with a similar video, set to "November Rain")

Tara: Welcome everyone, we are here in the Troy-Hobart Arena and we are set for an unforgettable night of FPPVW Action. I'm Tara Fisher.

Dick: And this is Dick Broccoli. We have five killer matches tonight, Matt Stryker and Chad Collyer will test out thier string of good luck when they meet Jay and Dusty, the Pyro Twins.

Tara: FPPVW's first cage match, and this one is for the ladies, Kai Kitta and Kara Draxus.

Dick: Alan Mayse takes on the man who he thinks stole his shot at the FPPVW title with the help of the champion himself, Ronin Fox. No disqualifications, that one is going to be a war.

Tara: And finally, the newcomer Simon Diamond takes on Nykk for the FPPVW title.

("Lets All Go to the Lobby" hits and Concession Boy Sr. makes his way to the ring, selling soft pretzels.)

Dick: Concession Boy has been a thorn in the side of Joey Sprinklers for some time, right up to last week.

(Clip is shown of Concession Boy Sr. costing Joey his match against Cynric.)

Tara: Joey has been on edge for a long time from Nykk cracking down on the Heel Stable's efforts. He's out to prove something today.

("Sad But True" hits and Joey Sprinklers skateboards to the ring.)

Concession Boy Sr. vs Joey Sprinklers

Finish: Joey takes control with a superplex and climbs the turnbuckles. He launches himself for a splash, but Concession rolls out of the way. Concession tries to apply the Hot Pretzel with Mustard, but Joey gets to the ropes near the corner. When the ref pulls Concession off to break the hold, Joey reaches for Concession's tray and picks something up. As he stumbles back to his feet, Concession Boy sets up for the Dr. Bob Beer Bomb, but Joey throws pretzel salt in Concession's eyes. Before the ref can figure out what happened, Joey hits Da Sprinklinator for the pin.

Winner: Joey Sprinklers by pin. Match Rating: 56

(A video highlighting the Alan Mayse/Ronin Fox rivalry from the last month is shown)

(Segment rating: 81)

(Matt Stryker and Chad Collyer are in the ring, "Fuel" hits and the Pyro Twins rush the ring, quickly tossing Matt and Chad to the floor.)

Matt Stryker and Chad Collyer vs. The Pyro Twins

Finish: Dusty and Chad lock up, Chad going behind into a waistlock, bridging into a german suplex. Chad gets a two count, but Dusty gets his foot on the ropes. Jay tags himself in, taking his time to get in the ring. Chad attacks Dusty, thinking he's the legal man, Jay pulls him back and hits the Overhaul. Matt breaks up the pin at two and gets attacked by Dusty, who gives him a Cactus Jack style clothesline out of the ring. Jay puts the boots to Chad and slides out of the ring to get a chair. The ref follows him and tries to stop him. Jay argues and throws the chair down, where Dusty snatches it and rams it into the gut of Matt. Dusty DDTs Matt on the chair, then takes it into the ring. He swings at Chad, but misses when Chad ducks and uses Dusty's momentum to arm drag him over the top rope. He picks up the chair and dares Jay to get in the ring. The ref keeps between Jay and Chad, ordering Chad to drop the chair. He does and the ref slides in and kicks the chair to the outside.

Matt grabs Jay and whips him hard into the guardrail then to the ringpost. He slides Jay to the inside and reaches for the tag. Chad tags in Matt, Matt setting up a piledriver. Chad climbs to the second rope and they both hit a spiked piledriver, Matt covering for the pin.

Winner: Matt Stryker and Chad Collyer by pin. Match Rating: 72

Dick: Incredible match! Matt Stryker just pulling it out after one hell of a battle.

(Dusty returns with another chair, flooring Matt and Chad. He helps Jay up and they both prop Matt in the corner. Dusty backs up and slams the chair into Matt's head with a running start. They do the same with Chad. Jay picks up the chair and puts in around Chad's ankle, telling Dusty to go to the turnbuckles, but Matt gets up to his knees and shoves Jay away. He removes the chair and uses it to get back up as the Pyro Twins leave the ring.)

(Backstage, in the Heel Stable's locker room, Nykk is just arriving.)

Joey: Hey, good to see you boss.

Nykk: Thanks, and congratulations on actually winning something for a change tonight. Now keep it up.

Joey: Oh, thanks.

Nykk: That's wasn't a compliment or encouragement or anything, that was an order.

Joey: Oh...kay.

Kevin: So, you ready for the match tonight?

Nykk: Don't you worry, this belt isn't going anywhere. It sure as hell isn't going around the waist of some washed up Pepsi executive. You know there's a Pepsi machine down the hall, it always tries to eat my quarters, never is stocked up on Mountain Dew, the compressor makes the most ungodly noise you've ever heard, and it can't even keep the pop cold. It's just like Simon Diamond. He comes in here trying to take something from me and making a lot of noise, but in the end he can't get his job done.

Joey: So he's the one who keeps screwing up the Mountain Dew delivery...

(Nykk looks at Joey for a second, then smacks him.)

(Segment Rating: 79)

("Guilty" by All hits and Kara Draxus makes her way to the ring, looking at the cage being set up around her, testing the chain link.)

Dick: She almost looks at home in there, doesn't she?

("Faint" hits and Kai Kitta walks to the ring, eyeing the cage warrily.)

Tara: Both competitors agreed to the stipulation of this match, but Kai seems reluctant to be shut up in that cage.

Dick: Now's the point where the decision really sinks in. A cage match might not seem that intimidating on paper, but once you're face to face with the structure, it's a whole new game.

Kara Draxus vs. Kai Kitta
Cage Match

Finish: Kara starts choking Kai, pinning her against the cage wall. Kai reaches up and holds the cage, keeping herself steady as she kicks with both legs, sending Kara back and knocking her down with a clothesline. Kai tries to climb, but Kara comes up underneath her and hits an electric chair drop.

Kara tries climbing now, and Kai barely catches her foot before she makes it over the top. Kai climbs up after her and they start trading punches while straddling the top of the cage. Kai quickly hits a series of elbows to the head, the last one almost knocking Kara over and to the outside. Kai holds on with her legs and grabs both of Kara's arms to pull her back up. Kara holds on and leans hard the other way, dragging Kai with her as they both land hard on the mat.

Kara pulls herself up and climbs again, Kai following slowly. They meet at the top as Kara starts climbing down the outside and Kai catches her. Struggling for control, Kai hits a superplex back into the ring.

Kai is first up this time, she pulls Kara to her feet, hits the ropes and nails Kara with the Interceptor. Stumbling to the corner, she climbs and makes it up to the top of the cage as Kara is just getting up. Looking at the crowd she takes a deep breath and launches herself back down at Kara, hitting a second Interceptor from the top of the cage. After a long moment of both competitors looking knocked out, Kai crawls to the cage wall and climbs out.

Winner: Kai Kitta by cage escape Match Rating: 71

Dick: Superfly never looked so good! What the hell did we just see?

Tara: This crowd is in disbelief!

Dick: I'm in disbelief, Kai is probably in disbelief. When Kara wakes up and remembers what happened, I'm sure she won't believe it.

("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse comes to the ring, two walls of the cage are still standing, Kara is still laying in the ring, and Kai is celebrating. She shakes hands with and hugs most of the front row.)

Dick: Well, while Kai demonstrates the advantages of coming to see us here live, Alan is jumping the gun a little bit. His match is coming up next, but obviously we're not quite set for it.

(Erica Porter slides into the ring to check on Kara and help her to the back, Alan climbs in once the ring is clear, and chases off the ring crew, preventing them from dismantling the cage. He keeps yelling for someone to hit Fox's music.)

Tara: This is going to be a no-holds-barred contest. No countout and no dq. Looks like Alan is planning to use the remains of this cage as a weapon.

("Wherever I May Roam" hits, but Ronin Fox is nowhere to be seen.)

Dick: Maybe Fox smartened up, decided discresion is the better part of cowardece and all.

Tara: Somehow I doubt it.

(One of the ring crew slides in the ring, he takes off the glasses and hat he was wearing, revieling that he's Fox. He jumps Alan from behind and rams his head into the cage wall. A ref slides in and calls for the bell to start the match.)

Alan Mayse vs. Ronin Fox
No-Holds-Barred

Finish: Alan and Fox brawl to the outside, using every object they can find around the ring, everything from dueling chairs to the ringbell to a wrench left behind by the ring crew. Both begining to bleed, Alan grinds Fox's face into the cage wall, opening him up more, then rams his head into the announce table. He clears the table and lays Fox out on it, climbing the cage from the outside, letting go half way up aiming with an elbow. Fox rolls out of the way and Alan crashes and burns. Fox drags Alan around the ring and rolls him in, climbing to the top rope and hitting a senton splash. He covers and gets a two count.

Fox pulls Alan to his feet and signals for the Tail End DDT. He charges and starts the spin, but Alan just pushes him off, sending Fox flying into the cage wall. Fox rebounds off the cage and is met with a kick to the gut and a fast tiger bomb. Alan covers, but Fox grabs the ropes and pulls himself out from under Alan and out of the ring. Alan grabs his hair and pulls him onto the apron. Alan trys to suplex Fox in, but it's blocked and reversed, Alan landing hard on the floor. Fox lets himself colapse into the ring to try and catch his breath.

Alan slides into the ring and he and Fox stare eachother down. Joey Sprinklers and Kevin Stone show up in the isle. Alan turns and starts yelling at them as they approach the ring. Fox backs up to the other side of the ring and starts running straight for Alan, Alan turns to see him and ducks. Fox jumps over and hits a springboard crossbody on Joey and Kevin. Fox starts stomping on Kevin, while Joey crawls quietly behind him. Vix runs out through the curtain and tosses the skateboard to Joey, and Joey cracks Fox in the back of the head. Fox colapses and Alan runs out and hits a running leg lariat on Joey. He grabs the skateboard and chases him and Vix out of the arena, turning back around seeing Kevin struggling to his feet. Alan charges and knocks Kevin out with a shot to the head with the skateboard.

Fox struggles to his feet, seeing the skateboard in Alan's hands and dropkicking Alan's knee. Alan falls forward and lands headfirst on the skateboard. Fox signals for the Tail End again, and charges as soon as Alan is standing, hitting the move on the concrete.

Fox drags Alan back to the ring and rolls him in, following and making the cover. Alan gets his foot on the rope at two. Slaming his hand on the mat in frustration, Fox gets up and climbs to the top turnbuckle, his back to Alan. Glancing back to see when Alan stands up he jumps like he's going for a moonsault, but goes nearly over Alan instead of into him, he catches Alan on the way and uses his momentum to hit a reverse DDT. Alan looks like he's out, but Fox is too exhausted to capitolize. He eventually draps an arm over Alan for a cover and a two count.

Fox slides out of the ring and grabs a chair, when he gets back in the ring, Alan has used the cage wall to get to his feet. Fox charges with the chair, but Alan ducks away and Fox hits the wall. Alan grabs Fox and hits a german suplex. He snatches the chair from Fox and sets it down, picking Fox up and hitting the tiger bomb on the chair for the pin.

Winner: Alan Mayse by pin Match Rating: 75

Tara: How the hell did he do it?

Dick: These two men have been through hell tonight, I can't believe either of these two can walk out of here.

(Alan gets up, soaking in the applause, after a minute he walks over and stands near Fox, who is just staring to stir. Alan extends a hand and helps Fox up. They lock eyes while the crowd applauds them both, Alan holds out his hand again and Fox quickly shakes it.)

(Backstage, Simon Diamond walks through the hallway, stretching his arms as he goes and hopping to loosen his legs.)

Simon: Troy Ohio...Simon's got a problem. You see, Simon just got into this city an hour ago, and now has to wrestle for a championship without a proper warm up. But don't worry, like everything else, Simon can rise above this adversity. Tonight, Simon says, you're going to see something special.

(Segment Rating: 65)

("Simon Says" hits and Simon Diamond makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: Here we go, it's been an amazing night, and it's all come down to this, the FPPVW Championship up for grabs.

("My Way" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring, accompanied by Vix, Kevin Stone, and Joey Sprinklers.)

(The ref stops Joey and Kevin in the isle and orders them to the back, which upsets them until Nykk also orders them back.)

Nykk vs. Simon Diamond
FPPVW Championship Match

Finish: Nykk and Simon lock up, Simon getting whipped to the corner. Nykk charges with a shoulderblock and pulls Simon out for Howling Moon I. Simon blocks and fights his way out with right hands, taking Nykk down with a single-leg and putting him in a rear-chinlock. Vix gets up on the apron and moves to get in the ring. The ref heads her off and Nykk rakes the eyes to escape.

Simon backs up to the ropes, covering his eyes as Nykk holds the top rope and stomps him down to the mat, then runs the ropes and baseball slides Simon out to the floor.

Nykk follows to the floor and whips Simon toward the guardrail, Simon reverses and Nykk flies into the crowd. Simon rolls into the ring to break the count and climbs the ropes, calling the crowd around Nykk to clear the way. The ref goes outside to check on Nykk and Vix jumps up, grabbing Simon's leg and crotching him on the top rope. Nykk gets back into the ring and backs up into Simon, picking him up from the turnbuckle to hit a running powerbomb. Nykk locks on the Bellbrookville Ceadarleaf and Simon taps.

Winner: Nykk by submission Match Rating: 78

Tara: Simon taps, Nykk has held on to the FPPVW Championship.

Dick: What will this mean for Simon's future in FPPVW? We're out of time, be sure to check us out this Friday on WB38 for Foundation. For Tara Fisher, this is Dick Broccoli. Good night everybody!
