Burn It Up. January 11, 2004

Troy-Hobart Arena

Dark match: Cynric vs. Joey Sprinklers

Winner: Cynric by pin with the Lift-Off

("Prayer" opening, wide shot of the arena to show off the biggest FPPVW crowd to date. Aki Mann's theme hits and he makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: Welcome everyone, we're here at the Troy-Hobart Arena to kick off FPPVW's Burn It Up! I'm Tara Fisher.

Dick: And this is Dick Broccoli, we're set for action here as Aki Mann takes the ring.

Tara: What is bothering this man? He just can't keep it together.

(Footage from the six man match on Foundation is shown, of Aki running away from the match.)

("Pajamarama" hits and Huh makes his way to the ring, accompanied by Pinky.)

Tara: One half of the Eccentrics, Huh is looking to make an impact on the singles ranks.

Dick: Maybe he could have made a better choice of impact than against Aki Mann, but...

Aki Mann vs. Huh

(Huh goes to lock up, but Aki keeps backing up, demanding that Huh tell him the secret of the lost gem. When Huh looks even more confused as usual, Aki lets out a war cry and tackles him to the mat, mounting him for a series of punches. The ref tries to pull him off, warning him about using clenched fists.)

(Pinky confers with Huh, who's climbing to his feet in the corner. She suddenly points as Aki charges the corner, Huh looks directly at Pinky's hand, barely wandering out of the corner in time. Aki crashes into the corner and collapses to the mat. Huh sees him and climbs the turnbuckles, hitting the Huhsault for the three count.)

Winner: Huh by pin.

Dick: The Eccentrics are starting the new year strong, last week they had a win over Los Villanos, tonight Huh gets a singles victory. Looks like things are finally starting to look up for them.

(Cheesecake runs out to the ring and dances with Huh in celebration as "Pajamarama" plays. Pinky slides into the ring with a microphone.)

Pinky: Well done, Huh, this is the way to start things right. We're on a roll, and its about to get better. Cheesecake, it's time for you to take a stand!

Cheesecake: I'm already there!

Pinky: Ewww...I mean it's time for you to make a challenge.

Cheesecake: Ohh! Okay. (clears throat) any of the boy'th in the back think they can handle thi'th, get out here th'o I can get my hand'th on you!

(A long silence follows.)

Cheesecake: Don't make me take my pant'th off!

("Voices" hits and Silver King makes his way to the ring, imploring Cheesecake to stay clothed. For some reason Silver King is wearing the cowboy hat he had in WCW.)

Cheesecake: Th'o, you're here to keep me from going to far? We'll th'ee about that. You got the gut'th, then get in the ring and take one for the team!

Cheesecake vs. Silver King

(Silver King slides in and drops his hat in the corner. He reluctantly approaches Cheesecake, who is rubbing his hands in anticipation. King circles Cheesecake, who suddenly lunges to trip King's leg, King rolls back and to his feet, rushing with a clothesline. It's ducked and King hits the ropes, Cheesecake hitting a high leg lariat and covering for a two count.)

(King gets to his feet quickly and hits the ropes, ducking a right hand from Cheesecake, leapfroging over him on the next pass, then hitting a high dropkick. He keeps Cheesecake on the mat, mostly riding him until he realizes that Cheesecake is enjoying it and he gets up quick. He whips Cheesecake to the ropes and goes for a flying splash. Cheesecake ducks out of the way, waits for King to turn around and hits a bulldog. He points to the ropes and climbs up, only for King to recover and climb after him, hitting a top rope hurricanrana. He climbs again and hits a missle dropkick on Cheesecake as soon as he's on his feet, coving for the pin.)

Winner: Silver King by pin.

(Silver King walks over to his corner and retrieves his hat, grabbing a microphone and walking back over to Cheesecake.)

Silver King: You lost today, kid. That doesn't mean you have to like it.

(King puts the hat on Cheesecake and goes to walk away, Cheesecake actually smiling a little, then King turns back around and hits a DDT on Cheesecake, sliding out of the ring as Huh slides in to check on his teammate.)

(A video hyping Super Crazy/Alan Mayse is shown set to the tune of "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, and the last three matches on the card are reviewed again.)

("Social" hits and Naomi Leach makes her way to the ring. Kara Draxus, Kai Kitta, and Lisa Letty are already surrounding the ring.)

Tara: One think you can say for sure, Naomi Leach is determined to be a fighting champion. One month after winning the title she's thrown the championship advantage out the window with this four way dance match.

Naomi Leach vs. Kara Draxus vs. Kai Kitta vs. Lisa Letty
Four Way Dance Ladies FPPVW Championship Match

(Kai and Kara lock up, and start trading punches and fighing over leverage. Naomi and Lisa square off a little more carefully, Naomi picking her spot to take Lisa down and put her through some holds. Kara clotheslines Kai out of the ring and turns on Naomi, applying a full nelson as Lisa get up and starts kicking at Naomi's midsection. Kai climbs back in and tackles Lisa while Naomi forces Kara back to the corner to break the hold. From opposite corners, Naomi and Kai whip Kara and Lisa toward each other. Lisa leapfrogs over Kara and hits a dropkick on Naomi while Kai hits the Interceptor on a charging Kara and gets a three count.)

(Lisa stomps Naomi in the corner as Kai runs over to help. She spins Lisa around and hits a vertical suplex. She rolls over and applies a single leg boston crab as Naomi gets back to her feet, and starts stomping Lisa. Kai lets go and Naomi pulls Lisa to her feet. Lisa rakes Naomi's eyes and turns on Kai, hitting a quick DDT. She gets to the ropes and hits the Letty Press on Kai, she gets a two count before rolling off as Naomi tries to legdrop her to break the pin.)

Dick: Is it me, or have Naomi and Kai been working more or less as a unit here. There was no real reason for Naomi to try and break up that pin, as this is an elimination match.

Tara: Could have been something forgotten in the moment, but then again maybe the time these two have spent recently in tag team action has put them in a team mentality.

(Lisa lays Kara out with a kick to the head, and climbs to the top rope again, hitting the Letty Press on both her opponents. She covers Kai for a three count, then tries to cover Naomi, who rolls Lisa up for a two count.)

(Both get to thier feet and lock up again, Lisa gaining the advantage and hitting a side suplex. She mounts Naomi and throws a few punches before getting flipped over Naomi's head, Naomi quickly rolling back to turn the tables. Naomi jumps off Lisa and tries to put on the Leach Hold, but Lisa panics and rolls to the ropes.)

(Lisa gets up and stands toe to toe with Naomi, throwing a hard chop. Naomi relaliates and chops are traded back and forth, Naomi eventually getting backed into a corner. Lisa climbs up and starts hammering Naomi, Naomi eventually pushes her off. Lisa jumps back to her feet and tries to mount the ropes again, but Naomi uses her momentum to hit a spinebuster, then quickly applies the Leach Hold. Lisa taps out.

Winner: Naomi Leach.

Eliminations: Kai Kitta eliminated Kara Draxus by pin. Lisa Letty eliminated Kai by pin. Naomi Leach eliminated Lisa by submission.

Tara: Naomi Leach once again victorious here tonight, she has every right to be proud of her title, earning her place as Ladies FPPVW Champion.

Dick: We're sure to see some action from the Ladies division this Friday, be sure to join us on WB38 when Foundation moves to prime time.

("My Way" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: This rivalry is primed to erupt all over again, Nykk about to face his first one on one opponent from FPPVW's first event.

("Wherever I May Roam" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)

Nykk vs. Ronin Fox

(Nykk deviates from his normal ground based strategy, staying in movement and trying to put Fox off balance. Fox keeps up with Nykk, but does seem confused by the strategy, and unable to mount much offence.)

(Nykk goes for a headscisor takedown from the side, but Fox grabs the rope and steadies himself, Nykk falls to the mat. Fox drops a quick elbow to keep Nykk where he is and applies a side headlock.)

Tara: I think they mixed up thier playbooks. Fox taking a mat based approach to stop the speedy tactics of Nykk.

(Nykk breaks free of the hold and rolls back and to his feet. He charges with a dropkick that gets deflected aside, Fox going for an armbar to keep Nykk grounded. Nykk makes it to the ropes and backs up. He fakes another charge and Fox sidesteps into the corner. Nykk catches him with a hard chop and sets him up for a superplex. He hits the move and turns Fox over for a Camel Clutch.)

Dick: That's more like the Nykk we know, he suckered Fox in, had him set for a certain style of match, then just led him right into the game Nykk knows best.

(Fox gets to the ropes and pulls himself out of the ring to regroup. Nykk following him before he can catch his breath. They brawl on the outside, Nykk determined to keep Fox of his game and not let him form a strategy. Fox tries to whip Nykk into the guardrail, but Nykk reverses. Nykk rolls in and out to break the count and stands up on the apron, jumping down with a double ax handle on Fox, who is bent over the guardrail. Nykk pulls Fox away from the guardrail and whips him into the post, then rolls in hoping for a count out. Fox rolls in at eight.)

(Nykk greets Fox with a series of stomps as soon as Fox is in the ring. Fox grabs Nykks foot and twists, taking Nykk down and rolling up with an ankle lock. Nykk rolls back and kicks Fox off.)

(Kevin Stone runs to the ring, the ref rolls out to intercept him, turning him away before he can get near enough to interfiere. Nykk locks up with Fox and rakes the eyes. Rolling out of the ring he grabs a chair and slides in quick. He swings, but Fox ducks. Fox kicks Nykk in the midsection, forcing him to drop the chair. He backs to the ropes and goes for the Tail-End DDT, but Nykk holds him up, sets him down on his feet and transitions to a northern lights suplex on the chair. He tosses the chair out of the ring as the ref returns from ejecting Kevin from ringside. Nykk covers for the three count.)

Winner: Nykk by pin.

(Nykk recovers the chair and waits for Fox outside the ring. When Fox recovers and climbs out of the ring, Nykk takes a swing. Fox ducks and snatches the chair away, driving it into Nykk's midsection. Fox then drops the chair and hits Howling Moon on Nykk.)

Dick: Howling Moon! That's a favorite of Nykk's!

Tara: Fox is making sure this isn't over, I'm sure Nykk will agree after that.

(Fox stumbles to the back, still feeling the effects of the spiked suplex. Kevin Stone rushes out to help Nykk up and to the back.)

Dick: Well ladies and gentlemen, it's been leading up to this, our last match, pitting Super Crazy vs. Alan Mayse. This match set up at Alan's request.

(The lead up to the match is shown, including Nykk's complaint and conversation with Alan outside Jon Z's office.)

("Voices" hits and Super Crazy makes his way to the ring.)

Tara: Super Crazy, only one match so far in FPPVW, but Alan Mayse claims he has something to prove. Can he prove it here tonight?

("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)

Alan Mayse vs. Super Crazy
FPPVW Championship Match

(As Alan and Crazy circle each other, "My Way" hits and Nykk returns to the ringside area, walking to the broadcast position.)

Tara: Oh crap, what is this?

(Nykk sits down and puts on a headset.)

Nykk: Commentary!

Dick: Well, welcome back to the ring, Nykk.

Nykk: Thanks Dick. I don't think we've formally met yet.

Dick: No, not yet.

Nykk: What's your name again?

(Alan yells something at Nykk, Crazy takes advantage, whipping Alan to the ropes and hitting a deep arm drag, running the ropes and hitting a flying headscisor takedown when Alan gets to his feet.)

Nykk: Now, there's the opposite of what I wanted. I'm out here to make sure Crazy doesn't get out of line.

Tara: Why is that? What do you have against Super Crazy, have you even met yet?

Nykk: It's simple. Super Crazy would be a terrible champion. Look at the standard I tried to set, would it be the same to have that man holding the belt. If he wins tonight, whos even to say he'll be here next week, or the week after that? This man wrestles all over the country, and outside the country, whats to keep him from hopping a border and losing the belt in some obscure Mexican drinking game?

Dick: Okay...

(Alan rallies back, whipping Crazy to the corner and charging. Crazy raises a boot to knock Alan down and drags him to the corner to go for the tri-fecta moonsaults. He hits the first one, but Alan rolls away from the second.)

(Crazy pulls Alan up, but Alan rolls Crazy up suddenly, getting a two count before Crazy grabs the rope.)

(Silver King walks down the aisle, Nykk gets up from his seat and stands between him and the ring.)

Tara: Wow, never thought I'd see this. Nykk is acting as the unoffical enforcer for this match.

(Silver King tries to get past Nykk, drawing the ref out of the ring to keep them separated and eject Silver King from ringside, threatening to do the same to Nykk. Nykk looks back at the ring, where Crazy is executing a fireman's carry slam on Alan. He sets up for the Mexican surfboard, but Nykk gets up on the apron and yells at him. Crazy lets go of the hold and takes a swing and Nykk, who jumps back off the apron.)

(Nykk grabs the ring bell and slides it into the ring next to Alan. Alan picks it up, looking over at Nykk. He goes to throw it out of the ring, but Crazy snatches it away and knocks Alan out with it. He slides it out of the ring and climbs the turnbuckles, hitting a top rope moonsault and covering. The ref returns and Crazy gets the three count.)

Winner: Super Crazy by pin.

Tara: New champion! Super Crazy has won the FPPVW Championship, despite Nykk's best efforts.

(Nykk rolls in the ring and tries to revive Alan, screaming at him, asking why he didn't use the bell.)

Dick: What does this mean for the future of FPPVW? We might find out this Friday, don't forget to watch when FPPVW Foundation moves to prime time. 9:00 on WB38. Until then for Tara Fisher, this is Dick Broccoli. Good night Dayton.
