Pain And Glory. February 14, 2004

Sinclair CC Gymnasium

Dark Match: Concession Boy III vs. Aki Mann

Winner: Concession Boy III by pin.

(Opening plays to the tune of "Papercut" by Linkin Park. Camera shows off the crowd, setting a new FPPVW attendance record of 749.)

Tara: We're here in the basement of Sinclair Community College, over 700 people crammed into this gymnasium. There may be love everywhere you look up above, but down here the only things that matter are Pain and Glory! This is Tara Fisher.

Dick: And I'm Dick Broccoli. Happy Valentine's Day, now lets get to some brutality. We have a full night. Cody Hawk challenges fellow Bellbrookville High School graduate Cynric.

Tara: J.R. Ryder returns to singles action against Silver King.

Dick: Kevin Stone will take on the degenerative Austin Lee.

Tara: We have two titles on the line tonight as Kara Draxus faces Ladies FPPVW Champion Naomi Leach in a rematch from just last night.

Dick: And of course we have the big four way dance, Super Crazy finally returns to defend his title against the daunting challenge of Alan Mayse, Nykk, and Ronin Fox. One current champion, two former champions, and one man who's always seemed just one step short of the gold.

(The "Intermission" theme from Monty Python hits, Concession Boy Sr. makes his way to the ring, selling the joke "Sprinklinator" t-shirts.)

Tara: This feud between the Concession Boys and Joey Sprinklers has lasted almost since the day FPPVW began. The first Concession Boy in FPPVW debuted on our second show last June, and after a match in July against the Sprinklinator himself, Joey took it upon himself to get the merchandiser deported to Sweeden.

Dick: The man you see before you is that man's mentor, the one who trained the Sweedish Concession Boy to sell popcorn with the best of them, and he's been gunning to get rid of the man who removed his student from the country.

("Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers rides to ringside on his skateboard.)

Concession Boy Sr. vs. Joey Sprinklers Hardcore Match

(Joey goes right to work on Concession Boy using the skateboard. He focusses on the Beermaster's legs first, slowing him down and keeping him on the mat. CB trips Joey to turn the tide, mounting him with a series of right hands, and then reaching for the skateboard himself. Joey throws CB off him and gets to his feet. CB tries to whip him to the ropes, but Joey reverses. Joey hits a spinning heel kick and rolls to the outside. He grabs CB's tray and slides back in. CB is up and he kicks Joey in the head, making him drop the tray. CB hits a quick side slam and picks up one of the shirts from the tray. He ties the shirt around Joey's head like a blindfold and lifts Joey to his feet. Joey gets whipped to the corner hard, and CB grabs the skateboard, charging with a shot to the head.)

(CB backs up for another shot, but Joey hears it and ducks out of the way. He fights with the shirt, and finally pulls it off. CB follows Joey, but Joey hits a drop toe hold, and uses the shirt to choke CB. CB fights his way to the ropes and pulls himself up to his feet. He kicks back at CB, hitting low and making Joey release as he fell backward.)

(CB tries to lock on the Hot Pretzel with Mustard, but Joey breaks free. He goes to the outside. CB gets up fast and hits a baseball slide that sends Joey into the guardrail. CB slides out and tries to whip Joey into the ringpost. Joey reverses the whip, but CB slides to a halt before making contact. He turns around but gets caught with a dropkick that sends the back of his head against the post. He slumps against the ring while Joey recovers. Joey pulls CB up and rolls him into the ring. Joey gets up on the top rope and goes for an elbow drop. CB rolls out of the way, once again grabbing the skateboard. Joey stands up and sees CB. CB swings, Joey ducks and kicks CB low. Joey grabs the board and sets it down beside him, grabbing CB and hitting Da Sprinklinator on the skateboard, covering for the three count.)

Winner: Joey Sprinklers by pin.

Tara: Damn! Concession Boy Sr. just took that skateboard hard, is he moving?

Dick: I can't tell.

(Concession Boy III runs out and slides in the ring, checking on SB Sr. CB3 stands up and looks like he's about to attack Joey, but Sr. grabs his ankle, telling him no. Joey looks like the very picture of smug as he picks up his skateboard and walks out of the gym.)

Dick: Looks like he's not too hurt, but he didn't want any more of Joey Sprinklers.

Tara: I wonder if this will affect the t shirt sales for the rest of the night.

(Footage is shown from last night's Foundation, of Kara Draxus defeating Naomi Leach by countout.)

Dick: Kara Draxus suprised Naomi Leach with this win last night, though it did not win her the Ladies FPPVW Championship. I understand it was Naomi, and not Kara that asked for a rematch to take place tonight.

("Guilty" hits and Kara Draxus makes her way to the ring.)

Tara: This girl grates on my nerves more every time she comes out here. She's just so damn arrogant.

Dick: I don't know, what you call arrogance, I say is confidence.

("Social" hits and Naomi Leach makes her way to the ring, accompanied by Kai Kitta.)

Naomi Leach vs. Kara Draxus
Ladies FPPVW Championship Match

(Naomi and Kara lock up, Kara gets a side headlock, but Naomi quickly escapes, applying a hammerlock. Kara tries to reverse the hold, but is blocked. Kara grabs Naomi by the hair and Naomi releases the hold as she gets snapmared over, Kara hitting a kick to the back of Naomi's head. Kara covers for a two count.)

(Naomi gets up to one knee, but Kara slips behind her and applies a surfboard. The ref checks, but Naomi doesn't submit. Kara lets the hold go and pushes Naomi down to the mat, shifting to an armbar. Naomi pulls herself to the ropes.)

(Kara waits for Naomi to stand, hitting a forearm to send her back down. She pulls Naomi away from the ropes, and hits a legdrop for a two count.)

(Naomi breaks away and gets to her feet quickly, keeping some distance. Kara rushes at Naomi, who sidesteps and hits an inverse DDT for a two.)

(Kara rolls outside the ring, threatening Kai and telling her to stay back. The ref starts the count. Kara sneaks something into her hand from under the ring apron and starts to crawl into the ring. Kai runs around and grabs Kara, trying to pull her back out. The ref tells Kai to let go, or Naomi will get disqualified. Kai lets go and tries to explain what's going on. Kara tries to swing at Naomi, who is standing next to the ref. Naomi ducks and Kara knocks the ref out. Naomi pulls Kara up for a suplex, but Kara blocks and breaks free, hitting Naomi with the hidden object and tossing it out of the ring. She makes the cover, but the ref is still out.)

(Kai slides in and pulls Kara to her feet. Kara rakes Kai's eyes and tries for the Draxus Driver. Kai blocks and pulls away, hitting the Interceptor. Naomi rolls Kara up as Kai slides out of the ring and tries to wake up the ref. The ref makes a slow three count.)

Winner: Naomi Leach by pin.

Tara: Kai acting as the enforcer tonight, took exception to Kara Draxus trying to cheat her way to the title.

Dick: Cheat? How was she going to cheat?

Tara: You saw her drop something, that right hand of hers was loaded.

Dick: With what? I never got a good look.

(A replay is shown, but the object can't be identified. By the time the live shot is restored, Kara has rolled to the outside, retrieved the object and left the ringside area.)

("Follow" hits and Cody Hawk makes his way to the ring. Quickly afterward "Soul Creation" hits and Cynric makes his way to the ring.)

Cody Hawk vs. Cynric

(Cody dominates the early portion of the match, setting up for the Riptide. Cynric gets up as Cody is on the turnbuckles. Cynric hits the ropes and Cody crotches himself. Cynric moves Cody, hanging him in the tree of woa. Cynric backs up and hits a running knee strike to Cody's head. Cody collapses to the mat and Cynric covers for two.)

(Cynric signals for the Lift Off by slapping his knee. He charges, but Cody ducks his head and Cynric's kick misses. Cody rolls Cynric up fast and grabs the back of Cynric's jeans, holding him for the three count.)

Winner: Cody Hawk by pin.

Tara: Cynric was just robbed.

Dick: Okay, even I saw that...not that I miss anything.

Tara: Cody Hawk gets the victory, making up for the loss he suffered against Cynric last night on Foundation.

Dick: I doubt Cynric can let that stand, we're a long way from seeing this settled.

Tara: Well ladies and gentlemen, we're about half way to the FPPVW Championship Match, here's a little history.

(A video is shown to the tune of "Papercut" as footage is shown to go with the narration of Jon Z.)

Jon: July 27, 2003. The Gymnasium at Sinclair Community College housed the event known as Breakout. The main event would crown the first ever FPPVW Champion. Alan Mayse, The Heel Stable's Nykk, and Ronin Fox would battle, along with an outsider by the name of Jett Taylor. By the time the dust had cleared, the outsider was sent packing, and FPPVW's own Alan Mayse became the first man to hold the new belt. Fast forward to January 11 of this year, Alan Mayse defends the title against a new outsider, the Insane Luchadore Super Crazy. Crazy takes advantage of the ringbell, which was given by Nykk to Alan. The luchadore gets the one two three, and a new belt. One month later, seven months after the birth of the FPPVW Championship, the belt is once again on the line within the gymnasium of Sinclair. Once again three FPPVW mainstays face off along with an outsider in a Four Way Dance. This time, they aren't trying to begin a legacy, they are trying to reclaim it.

("Smoke on the Water" hits and J.R. Ryder makes his way to the ring. Quickly after, "Crazy Train" hits and Silver King makes his way to the ring.)

J.R. Ryder vs. Silver King

(Ryder keeps up with King using a lucha style, eventually making it a few steps ahead of him. Silver King tries for a flying headscisors, but Ryder holds on and stays up, pulling King up to hit the Ryder Bomb for the three count.)

Winner: J.R. Ryder by pin.

Tara: J.R. Ryder with his second victory in his two matches here in FPPVW, I for one hope to see more of this young man in the future.

("The Way I Am" hits and Austin Lee makes his way to the ring, he walks past Silver King and then Ryder with a snear.)

Tara: Well the past week it seems J.R. Ryder and former Heel Stable member Kevin Stone have formed an alliance. I've heard from Kevin that they plan on entering the upcoming FPPVW Tag Team Tournament.

("Smoke on the Water" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)

Austin Lee vs. Kevin Stone

(Austin keeps most of the match on the mat, and is able to control the flow of it easily. Kevin starts getting frustrated.)

(Kevin throws a series of elbows to break a sleeperhold, and whips Austin to the ropes. He tries for a spear, but Austin rolls out of the way. Austin drags Kevin to the center of the ring and tries to put on the Crimson Cloverleaf, but Kevin powers out before Austin locks on the hold. Kevin gets to his feet first. Austin tries to stun Kevin with a kick to the midsection, but Kevin blocks it, holding Austin's foot and spinning him around. Kevin grabs Austin for a chokeslam and covers for the three count.)

Winner: Kevin Stone by pin.

Tara: The bad luck he suffered from in the Heel Stable seems long gone here tonight, Kevin with a impressive victory.

(Backstage, Jon Z walks out of his office. He's holding the FPPVW Championship Belt. Referee Becky Junker walks up.)

Jon: Are you ready for the main event?

Becky: Ready as I'll ever be.

Jon: Well go ahead and take this out with you.

(He tries to hand her the belt, but Super Crazy steps up from behind Jon, grabs the belt and hits Jon over the head with it. He looks down at Jon, winks at Becky and puts the belt over his shoulder, walking off camera.)

Dick: Well the champion has reclaimed his gold.

Tara: Is he actually going to get to the ring with it, or is he going to run to the airport?

("Wherever I May Roam" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)

Dick: The one man in this next match who has yet to taste the gold is this man right here.

Tara: That might make him the hungrier of the pack and give him an edge in this environment.

("My Way" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)

Dick: I don't know, this man lost the belt and he's been so despirate to get it back he was literally throwing thousands of dollars away to try and buy it back.

("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring. He stops as Nykk has yet to enter the ring, looking up at Fox. Alan steps up behind Nykk, who turns suddenly and tries to connect with a right hand. Alan ducks and lifts a knee into Nykk's midsection, then whips him into the guardrail.)

Tara: They're not waiting for the bell, or even the champion!

(Alan and Nykk lock up outside, Fox climbs on the apron and hits an Asai moonsault that takes both of them out.)

("Voices" hits and Super Crazy makes his way to the ring, seeing the pile of bodies in the aisle.)

Super Crazy vs. Alan Mayse vs. Nykk vs. Ronin Fox FPPVW Championship Four Way Dance

(Crazy pulls Alan to his feet and hits a tiger bomb on the floor. Fox spins Crazy around and locks up, but Nykk hits Fox from behind and faces off with Crazy. They trade punches and work toward the ring, sliding in as the bell finally rings to officialy start the match.)

(Nykk gets a waistlock on Crazy, but Crazy fights out and hits a drop toe hold. Crazy puts on the mexican surfboard and rolls with it. Fox slides in the ring as Crazy holds onto the move. Fox gets up on the second rope and hits a double axhandle to Nykk's exposed ribs. Crazy releases the hold, laughing as he applauds Fox, Fox applauds back, then hits a quick enzigiri on Crazy, covering for a two count.)

(Nykk pulls Fox up to his feet and applies a full nelson to keep him in place. Crazy gets up and starts kicking at Fox's sides. Crazy hits the ropes and charges, Fox breaks the hold and slips away as Crazy hits a spin heel kick on Nykk. Fox stands and pulls Crazy to his feet, whipping him to the ropes but getting caught with a flying headscisor that sends him rolling to the outside. Crazy stomps on Nykk as Alan gets into the ring, running up from behind and hitting a swinging neckbreaker. He climbs the turnbuckles, looking like he's going for a moonsault, but Nykk gets up and crotches him on the top rope. Nykk pulls Alan into the Tree of Woa and barely gets out of the way as Crazy runs into the corner with a dropkick.)

(Crazy stands up and gets whipped to the opposite corner by Nykk just as Alan's getting down. Alan charges Nykk, but Nykk ducks down and launches Alan, Alan hitting a dropkick on Crazy. Fox slides back in the ring and shoves Nykk into the same corner. Fox backs up and charges for a splash in the corner, but Nykk and Alan duck out of the way and Crazy catches Fox to his a spinebuster. He gets a two count.)

(Alan aims a kick to Crazy's head. Nykk gets a waistlock on Alan and tries for a german suplex, but Alan grabs the top rope. Crazy gets to his feet and kicks Alan's hand off the rope, Nykk hitting the german suplex for a two count. Nykk lets go as Alan kicks out and Crazy hits a stading moonsault on Nykk for a two count. Crazy stands up and stomps at Nykk, frustrated, as Fox rolls him up from behind for a two.)

(Alan is up first, pulling Nykk up for a vertical suplex, then hitting the ropes for a senton splash. He gets out of the way quick as he sees Fox moving, Fox hits the ropes and hits a rolling senton on Nykk. Crazy is up last, pulling Nykk to the corner and going for the tri-fecta moonsaults. Nykk gets his knees up on the third and gets up to his feet, only to be caught by the Tail End DDT by Fox for the pin.)

(The ref tries to remove Nykk from the ring, Nykk starts to regain his faculties as he rolls to the outside and pushes the ref away, trying to get back in the ring. The ref gets out of the ring and tries to pull Nykk off the apron. Fox walks over to try and push him away, but Nykk thumbs Fox in the eye. Fox reels back as Crazy jumps up to the top turnbuckle, hitting a dragoncanrana on Fox for the pin.)

(Fox and Nykk brawl on the outside, moving up the aisle and out of the arena. Alan and Crazy face off, locking up, Crazy getting a side headlock. Alan backs into the ropes and launches Crazy across the ring. Alan leapfrogs over Crazy on the rebound and hits a deep armdrag. Crazy gets to his feet before Alan and hits a dropkick to the head. Alan lands and immediately kips back up to his feet, meeting Crazy as he stands, whipping him to the ropes again. Alan tries for a hiptoss but Crazy blocks and turns it into an armdrag, Alan rolls up to his feet in one fluid motion. Crazy charges but Alan goes for a back body drop, Crazy lands on his feet on the ring apron, pulling Alan's hair for a takedown and hitting a double jump moonsault. He makes the cover, but Alan grabs the bottom rope at one.)

(Crazy pulls Alan to his feet and walks away from the ropes, hitting a fireman's carry slam. He climbs the ropes to try for another moonsault, but Alan rolls out of the ring. He backs up, Crazy goes for a flying crossbody. Alan ducks and Crazy crashes in the aisle. Alan pulls Crazy up and whips him to the guardrail. He tries to whip Crazy back toward the ring, but Crazy reverses, Alan crashes against the ring, back first. Crazy charges, Alan instinctively goes for a back body drop, Crazy rebounds off the ropes and hits a DDT on the way down.)

(Crazy slides in the ring, Alan slowly crawls inside too. Crazy hits an elbow drop to Alan's head to keep him stunned, and pulls him to his feet. He sets Alan up on the top rope, climbing up for a hurricanrana. Alan throws some punches, Crazy fighting to hang on. Alan reaches around Crazy and hits a gutwrench powerbomb off the ropes. Alan colapses on Crazy off the ropes, getting the three count.)

Winner: Alan Mayse by pin.

Tara: Alan gets it back, Alan Mayse has just become a three time champion!

Dick: What a match, I think my voice is going.

Tara: Good. Thank you for joining us here at Pain and Glory, for Dick Brocolli, this is Tara Fisher, good night Dayton.
