(An opening plays to the tune of "Somewhere I Belong" and the camera shows a couch set up by the ring, the seats are just starting to fill up. Shawn and Greg from Geek Speak walk on and sit down)
Shawn: Welcome to Montgomery County Fairgrounds, the site of what shall be the final broadcast of FPPVW on DATV, WrestlingRevolution! And what better way to give FPPVW a big sendoff to bigger and better things, then to have the biggest stars of Dayton Cable Access introduce the show. I'm Shawn, that's Greg, both from Geek Speak 2.0.
Greg: It's been a hell of a year up until now, and in just under 30 minutes it will all come full circle. There's going to be six huge matches, and three titles decided.
Shawn: We'll go over each one, but first lets check in with our man on the scene, Henrique? Are you there?
(Henrique is backstage with a microphone. He stares off into space as he is not wearing his earpiece.)
Greg: Henrique? Hello?
Shawn: I don't think he hears us.
(The Concession Boyz wander by.)
Concession Boy III: Yo, aren't you the Geek Speak guy? Is it time for the preshow already?
Henrique: I don't know, no one tells me anything.
Concession Boy Sr.: Well, why don't you look at some shirts while you wait. We just got some new designs in.
Henrique: Cool.
(The walk off camera together.)
Shawn: Wait! Henrique come back!
Greg: Well we're off to a rocky start.
Shawn: Yes we are, much like the first match we're going to talk about today.
Greg: Wow, that was a great segue.
Shawn: Ever since the day Cody Hawk set foot in the FPPVW Arena, he's been at odds with one of FPPVW's original core roster. Cynric made it very clear from the start that Cody wasn't welcome.
(Footage from FPPVW Darkest Night 2003 is shown)
(Backstage, Cody Hawk walks out of Jon Z's office. Cynric approaches.)
Cynric: Well, looks like you're going to be here to stay, right?
Cody: Looks that way, and you are?
Cynric: You don't remember me at all, do you?
Cody: Where should I know you from?
Cynric: We only went to the same damn school for years on end. You graduated from Bellbrookville just like me and most of the FPPVW core.
Cody: Right...I think I saw you around. Football team right?
Cynric: Hell no.
Cody: Oh. Well whatever, man. See you around.
Cynric: Oh, no no no, you see...you don't ignore me. You see, you might have graduated before me, you might have made it into the business first, but I've been in FPPVW since day one, and I'm not going to let you step in here without earning your spot.
Cody: Is that right? Well, I don't think I'm going to earn or take my spot here. I'd rather take yours.
(Back to the couch.)
Shawn: That was about five months ago, Cody Hawk and Cynric have basically just tolerated each other for the most part.
Greg: But it looked ready to explode again in the past couple months. After clashing in the second round of the FPPVW Tag Team Tournament, tempers flaired again after this altercation.
(Footage from Foundation, episode 04/23/04)
(Elsewhere backstage Zac Hensley is standing by with Cody Hawk.)
Zac: Cody Hawk, I'm glad you could come see us tonight, though you haven't been scheduled for action. I wanted to get your thoughts on what happened this past Saturday at Countdown when Austin Lee surprised all of us by simply walking away from the Ohio Tag Team Championship match, leaving you alone to eventually face defeat at the hands of the Eccentrics.
Cody: Zac, what the hell do you think are my thoughts? Austin and I ruled the tag team ranks from the moment we first teamed. We were unstoppable in the tournament, every team we met, we took down. We even took down the new champions themselves, hell we did that in the first match of the first round! How do I feel? I feel naked, because those Ohio Tag Team belts were practically in my hands, ready for one to be put around my waist. I was a couple moves away from capturing my first FPPVW gold. What was it that stopped me? My opponents? My own limits? No, nothing stopped me except a greedy partner. And when...
(Cynric walks by.)
Cynric: Don't you ever shut up? Things like this happen.
Cody: You of all people should understand why this is frustrating, you lost your partner in the tournament too.
Cynric: Yeah, well I lost mine because of an injury. Your partner just wanted to escape being involved in your aweful matches.
(Cynric smirks and keeps walking.)
(Back to the couch, where there is now a blue screen set up in the background. It shows the further confrontations and fights of Cynric and Cody Hawk.)
Shawn: These two men have both had thier problems in FPPVW. Cynric was sidelined early on in the year with a tricep injury that left him with a lot of lost ground.
Greg: But Cody Hawk was on fire leading up to the finals of the FPPVW Tag Team Tournament, and his team might have beaten the Eccentrics in not for his tag team partner, Austin Lee walking out of the match.
(The end of that match from FPPVW Countdown is shown on the bluescreen.)
Shawn: You can't blame Austin Lee, he had two very good reasons for walking out. One, he needed to be fresh for his big match tonight. We'll touch on that later. Two, if he had won his team would have to face the Pyro Twins here tonight.
Greg: That's right, the holders of the "Rio de Janiero" based FPPVW Tag Team Titles are putting thier belts up for grabs for the first time against the winners of the Ohio Tag Team Championships. The Pyro Twins and The Eccentrics square off to crown an undisputed championship team.
Shawn: The match was set up with a tournament, but it didn't take long for it to get personal.
(Footage from Foundation, episode 04/23/04)
(Dusty signals, and Jay lights Torgo's hand on fire. He yells and jumps up running away. Huh runs out of the ring and tries to catch up. Jay intercepts him in the aisle and hits a belly to belly suplex on the concrete. In the ring Dusty hits Cheesecake with a DDT. Jay pulls Huh back to the ring and throws him in. The Pyro Twins set Huh and Cheesecake up in opposite corners and stand in the middle of the ring. Dusty pulls something out of his pocket.)
Tara: This is terrible, The Pyro Twins have already disposed of Torgo, now they have Huh and Cheesecake set up for something. What are they doing?
Dick: If I make it out right, they're trying to decide between the two. I don't know what for.
(Pinky slides in the ring and tries to reason with the Pyro Twins, getting on her knees and begging them not to hurt her team. Jay looks at Huh, Dusty looks at Cheesecake. They both reach back like they're going to throw something, then turn at once, both of them throwing fireballs at Pinky who falls to the mat covering her face.)
Tara: What the f***!
Dick: What did they just do?
Tara: Get some help out here now, get some f***ing help now!
(Footage from Foundation, episode 04/30/04)
(Zac Hensley catches up with the Eccentrics backstage)
Zac: Guys, last week the Pyro Twins did the unthinkable, throwing two fireballs right into the face of your manager Pinky. I was wondering if you could let us know Pinky's condition and when we can expect her back.
Huh: First of all, Zac, we'd also like to tell you the condition of Torgo, but we haven't seen hide nor hoof of him since last week. As for Pinky, she is at home recovering, and the doctors have said she should be able to return in about five to six weeks, though she'll still need to shield her face with bandages for some time.
Cheesecake: As you can see, Zac, the Pyro Twins have not shown up tonight, because they knew we would be here waiting for them. Well, they can't hide from us forever. I know we're a comedy act. We love going out there and bringing a little levity to the show. But if you hurt us or those we love, we will fight. If the Pyro Twins think that using fire is going to make them the first FPPVW Tag Team Champions, then by all means, bring it. Bring whatever you want to our match at Wrestling Revolution, because me and Huh want to make this a little more interesting.
Huh: We want Jon Z to make our match at Wrestling Revoultion "Anything Goes." We want the Pyro Twins to feel some of the pain that they've inflicted here in FPPVW. And if we have to wade through a river of fire to accomplish that goal, that's what we're going to have to do.
(Back to the couch.)
Greg: An anything goes tag team match. That has to favor The Pyro Twins, and I'm afraid of what Jay and Dusty might do in this environment.
Shawn: It is a concern, we've already seen what can happen when The Pyro Twins put thier minds to something. Pinky and Torgo have already become targets, I don't know if The Eccentics can survive unscorched.
Greg: The Pyro Twins have been gearing up for this match all day. I understand they're out on the fairgrounds now with a bonfire going. Can we get a camera out there?
(Outside, Jay and Dusty are standing around a large bonfire surrounded by a circle of guardrails. They're throwing in Eccentric's Merchandise.)
Shawn: That's just mean.
Greg: And wastefull.
(Back in the arena, Shawn and Greg are in the ring as the seats are filling up more. They both have microphones.)
Shawn: Are you ready for this, Dayton Ohio?
Greg: The biggest event in FPPVW history. There's already nearly a thousand people in this building, and there are still tickets being sold.
Shawn: Oh screw the people showing up late. They're missing us! Why don't we reward the people who came at a decent time with a bonus match? What do you think?
Greg: Sounds like a plan.
("Lets All Go to the Lobby" hits and the Concession Boyz make thier way to the ring. Henrique is with them, wearing a new Concession Boyz shirt.)
(Shawn and Greg return to ringside to take up the commentary position.)
Shawn: I was wondering where he got to.
Greg: Like dangling a banana in front of a monkee. He's distracted by everything.
(The Aki Mann theme plays and Swinging Justice makes thier way to the ring.)
Concession Boyz vs. Swinging Justice
(Aki hooks CB III into the Aki Anklelock, and CB III taps out.)
Winners: Swinging Justice by submission.
Shawn: That is just a sample of the great action that will take place right here tonight.
Greg: That's right, let's not forget the grudge match tonight between Kevin Stone and Joey Sprinklers, two old stablemates ready to tear each other apart.
(Footage over several months is shown, of Kevin being kicked out of the Heel Stable, and his injury and return, and the match at Countdown.)
Shawn: Ousted from the Heel Stable, he stood ready to take down his former teammates one by one, until he was sidelined with a tricep injury in February. He made his return in April, costing Joey Sprinklers a match against former tag team partner Swinger. Since then Joey has been wearing a bullseye, the first target of the Heel-Killer.
Greg: Don't forget though, that Joey has dodged the Heel-Killing bullet before, with a victory over Kevin Stone at Countdown a month ago. The use, of all things a skateboard wheel, gaining him the win and a quick escape.
Shawn: For Kevin Stone's sake, lets hope he's a little more alert this time around.
Greg: Keep an eye on the clock, we're getting closer still to FPPVW WrestlingRevolution, and the first one on one match between Naomi Leach and Kai Kitta since the Ladies FPPVW Championship was first crowned.
(Footage from the finals of the Ladies FPPVW Championship are shown, followed by clips of Naomi's numerous victories in the months since.)
Shawn: Kai Kitta was a heavy favorite to win the Ladies FPPVW Title early on, and suprised no one by getting into the finals, Naomi Leach pulled off a stunning victory however, and has been riding high with championship gold ever since.
Greg: One of the secrets of her success however, has been avoiding the inevitable rematch with Kai Kitta. Though the two have met since in three and four way matches, Naomi has stalled the one on one encounter as long as she could, claiming she wanted to wait for a time when her friend Kai was ready.
Shawn: She seems ready to me, and I know I'm ready to see these two girls lock up.
Greg: From titles we move to personal matters, what's your take on the match that FPPVW won't even claim as its own, unsanctioned here tonight Ronin Fox will take on Nykk.
Shawn: This has been coming ever since the first day of FPPVW, and we can only hope it can be resolved here tonight.
(Clips from Ronin Fox vs. Nykk matches from the past year are shown.)
Greg: Fox and Nykk were the main event of the first two shows in FPPVW history. They blew up again on the first episdoe of FPPVW Foundation, and had a classic encounter when Foundation went to prime time.
Shawn: It only seems fitting that these two would meet in the ring in cap off the first year of FPPVW, but those plans almost got derailed at FPPVW Gauntlet two months ago.
(The end of that match is shown, emphasizing the two Aurora Drivers.)
Greg: Fox was out of action and under doctors supervision, while Nykk thought the matter was closed. Fox would return in one month, however, costing Nykk his chance to become a two time FPPVW Champion in his match against Alan Mayse at Countdown.
(The end of that match is shown.)
Shawn: A match at WrestlingRevolution looked like a no brainer, except for one problem. Ronin Fox was not cleared to wrestle. It wasn't until just yesterday on Foundation that we knew for sure if this match would take place.
(Footage from Foundation, episode 05/14/04 is shown.)
(In the arena, Jon Z is standing in the ring.)
Tara: We're back on Foundation, and Jon Z is in the ring. Maybe we'll finally get his decision on whether or not he'll allow Fox to wrestle tomorrow at Wrestling Revolution.
Jon: Ladies and gentlemen, as always, thank you for joining us tonight. And I hope that you'll join us tomorrow, May 15, at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds for Wrestling Revolution, FPPVW's first anniversary show. Now, as you all know, Ronin Fox has challenged Nykk to settle the score at that event, and Nykk has accepted this challenge. However, I have some reservations about letting Fox step back into the ring so soon. Therefore, Ronin Fox, I would like you to please come out here.
("Wherever I May Roam" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)
Tara: Fox has not been medically cleared to wrestle yet. He says he's ready, but I don't know if he realizes that Jon's just looking out for his safety.
Dick: No, no, Jon's trying to avoid an insurance nightmare, that's what he's trying to do.
Tara: You know, some people care about their employees and fellow co-workers. Not everyone's like you.
Jon: Fox, I want you to know that I have reviewed your arguments, and I just want to say that I sympathize with you. Nykk has been a thorn in both our sides for a long time, and back at Gauntlet, he went too far. He tried to end your career. No one would like to see Nykk beaten down more than me or you. But... the fact remains that your doctor is adamant that you should not step back in the ring yet. Your neck is not 100% and if you step in the ring with Nykk, you would not only be risking your wrestling career, but your life. So I'm afraid that I cannot allow you to wrestle Nykk tomorrow at Wrestling Revolution.
(Fox looks disappointed.)
Jon: However... I know you, Fox, and I know that you'll find a way to get what you want. You said it yourself, that you're going to fight Nykk no matter what my decision is. I'm going to offer you a deal. Your match with Nykk will take place tomorrow night... but at the same time, I do have think about protecting my family, myself and my company. So your match will take place tomorrow... if you sign this waiver.
(He holds up a piece of paper.)
Jon: What this waiver says is that Ronin Fox vs. Nykk at Wrestling Revolution will take place... but it will not be sanctioned by FPPVW. If you sign this waiver, you are signing away any liability of myself or FPPVW. That's the risk you have to take, the decision you have to make, in order to face Nykk tomorrow. Believe me, as your boss and as your friend, if I thought that I could stop you from fighting Nykk, I would, but if you're going to do so anyway, then I want no responsibility for anything that might happen to you. So what'll it be?
(Fox thinks about it.)
Tara: Fox has his own life to think about. Nykk has promised that he will get the job done this time and end Fox's career.
(Fox takes the pen and waiver and signs it, handing it back to Jon. He then trades Jon for the mic.)
Fox: Jon, it was never nor ever will be my intent to put my friends in danger, or make them liable for my actions. You want me to sign a waiver so I can face Nykk, unsanctioned? I've gladly done so. Now that I know I have the match, Nykk... you seemed to take great pleasure in dropping me on my head back at Gauntlet. I sat at home for four weeks and watched you run your mouth before I felt up to doing something about it. You know, one year ago we were the main event of FPPVW's first show. Now it's come full circle and it's time for this feud to end. And end it shall, one way or the other. I don't pretend to...
Nykk: Why, if it isn't my old friend Ronnie Fox!
(Nykk, Joey Sprinklers and the Pyro Twins suddenly walk out of the dressing room and head for the ring.)
Tara: What the... the Heel Stable is out here, but why?
Dick: Nykk goes wherever he pleases, Tara.
Nykk: Now, Ronnie, I've seen you make some dumb mistakes over the last year, but I think you just made the dumbest one of all. Do you know what 'unsanctioned' means? It means that I can do anything I want to you. It means that all moves are legal... even banned ones.
Tara: Nykk referring of course to the Aurora Driver, which is the move that put Fox out to begin with.
(The Heel Stable gets in the ring.)
Nykk: But just like always, Ronnie, I don't think you get it. So what we've come out here to do is give you a taste of what's going to happen tomorrow night.
(Jon steps in front of Fox.)
Jon: Get the hell out of here, Nykk...
Nykk: You can stop pretending you care, Jon. Just like always, you think of yourself first, and forced poor Fox to sign a waiver just so he can face me. Well, this is no longer your concern. Dusty, Jay, remove him please.
(The Pyro Twins grab Jon Z by the arms and produce a pair of handcuffs. They handcuff Jon to the top rope.)
Nykk: Now Jon, I want you to sit back and watch just what you've done...
(Fox suddenly floors Nykk with a right hand. He knocks down Joey with a back elbow, and clotheslines Dusty. Jay charges him and gets a back body drop. He goes over to the corner and hits Joey with right hands, but Nykk hits him in the back of the head from behind with a forearm. The Heel Stable starts to beat down Fox.)
Tara: What a twisted individual! He waited until everything was out of Jon's hands before attacking Fox!
(Nykk executes Howling Moon II on Fox, who holds his neck. Nykk then signals for the Aurora Driver. He sets up Fox but then drops him and rolls out of the ring as Cynric, Kevin Stone and the Eccentrics run to the ring. The Heel Stable backs up the aisle as the faces check on Fox.)
Tara: Damn Nykk. He pulled one over on Fox again, and now Fox is even more hurt going into his unsanctioned match with Nykk at Wrestling Revolution.
(Back to the couch.)
Shawn: Some quick help from Cynric, Kevin and the Eccentrics might have saved Fox's life last night, but were they in time to save his career?
Greg: As of yet, Ronin Fox has not arrived at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. There is some doubt as to whether or not this unsanctioned match will go on as planned.
Shawn: We do know, however, that the FPPVW Championship will be on the line tonight. Alan Mayse will take on the man who has had the champion's number since earning his spot, Austin Lee.
(The end of the Gauntlet match is shown, emphasizing Austin Lee's dominance in the ring.)
Greg: Austin Lee shocked the FPPVW crowd when he ruled over the Gauntlet, earning him a chance at the FPPVW title. Ever since he has taken every opporotunity to face down the champion, more than once Austin Lee has put Alan out with the Degenerate Driver.
Shawn: Not only that, but Alan's favorite finisher, the Tiger Bomb, has failed him. Austin Lee has kicked out of the move before, and I think he can do it again? What is left for the champion, and is this the end of his third reign?
Greg: You can find out, just stay tuned. It's been a pleasure to host this countdown to WrestlingRevolution, and I for one can't wait any longer.
Shawn: Thank you FPPVW for giving us a great year here on DATV, and we wish you the best of luck. Let's take it to the ring.
(The "Somewhere I Belong" video plays again, Jon Z makes his way to the ring.)
Jon: Dayton Ohio, welcome to the birthplace of the new movement in professional wrestling. Tonight all of you are a part of the WrestlingRevolution. One year ago I came out in front of a crowd of less that a hundred people and I made a bunch of crazy promises and claims. I told those people that they were going to see something special, that they would see future stars. I told those people that we would change the way Dayton looked at the "independant wrestling" world. Some might have called me crazy, but then again here I am, standing in the middle of a ring, surrounded by 1067 rabid fans, introducing a show that will be remembered as one of the biggest milestones in a true Ohio institution! Ladies and Gentlemen, it's been one hell of a year, and I can't wait for the next one. Let's get it started right now.
("Faint" hits and Kai Kitta makes her way to the ring. Jon Z exits the ring and joins the broadcast position with Tara Fisher and Dick Broccoli.)
Tara: This truely is a great way to kick off a new year here in FPPVW.
Dick: Wait, is he going to sit with us?
Jon: You don't think I would miss this, do you?
("Social" hits and Naomi Leach makes her way to the ring.)
Tara: Our thanks go to Geek Speak 2.0 for that great preshow, as well as to the people at DATV for providing us with a home for some great events over the past year.
Dick: Don't worry, we're not going anywhere, you can still see these event, and more importantly hear from me, on VHS and DVD. Order forms for all past FPPVW events as well as upcoming shows will be available on PPVrenegade.com.
Kai Kitta vs. Naomi Leach
Ladies FPPVW Championship Match
(Kai and Naomi shake hands.)
Tara: Going into the match, you almost forget that these two are friends, and have been since the Ladies FPPVW Tournament. They truely earned each others respect in the finals, wrestling over that very belt.
(Kai and Naomi lock up, Naomi goes for a single leg trip and reaches for Kai's arm. Kai rolls away and back up to her feet, locking up with Naomi again and going for a side headlock. Naomi launches Kai to the ropes and leapfrogs over her before hitting an armdrag. Kai gets up quickly and runs into a second armdrag, Naomi holding on for an armbar. Kai fights back up to her feet, trying to break the hold. She grabs the rope, but Naomi pauses before releasing the hold.)
(Kai argues with Naomi, who shrugs and tells her that's how things go. Kai goes for another collar-elbow tieup, but Naomi sidesteps it and knees Kai in the midsection. She hits a powerbomb out of a gutwrench and covers for a two count.)
Jon: I don't think Kai was expecting things to go this way.
Dick: She should have. The title is on the line, that means the gloves are off. If you don't go into this match with a killer instinct, you leave this match dissapointed.
(Naomi pulls Kai to her feet and backs her into a corner. Naomi hits a series of chops and whips Kai into the opposite corner. She charges for a clothesline, but Kai ducks and rolls away. Naomi turns around and gets caught with a flying headscisor takedown, Kai keeps Naomi down and starts throwing punches.)
Dick: That's more like it.
(Naomi pushes Kai off and gets to her feet. They stare each other down, Naomi slaps Kai. Kai takes it and and then charges, hitting a spinebuster. She pulls Naomi into a dragon sleeper, but Naomi struggles free. They lock up again, Naomi going behind for a back suplex, Kai breaks free and lands behind Naomi hitting a back suplex of her own. Kai covers for two.)
(Kai gets to her feet, but gets immediately tripped back. Naomi gets up and hits an elbow drop before going to the top rope. Kai kicks up to her feet and charges the corner, hitting a high kick that stuns Naomi on the top rope. Kai climbs and hits a hurricanrana off the ropes, and quickly climbs again signalling the Interceptor.)
(She goes for the top rope Interceptor, but Naomi ducks and rolls out of the ring. After a moment to catch her breath, Naomi starts to walk away from the ring as the ref starts the count. Kai tries to get past the ref, but is blocked. Leaves the ring on the far side and runs around to get to the aisle, catching up with Naomi, but Naomi turns around with a right hand that floors Kai. Naomi pulls Kai to her feet and whips her hard into the barricade on both sides of the aisle before dragging her back to the ring and sliding her in.)
(Naomi lifts Kai up for a brainbuster, but Kai blocks and pulls Naomi into a small package for a two count. Naomi kicks out hard and rushes to her feet, Kai gets up and gets her eyes raked. Naomi hits a DDT and locks on the Leach Hold. Kai taps out.)
Winner: Naomi Leach by submission.
(Naomi keeps the Leach Hold applied after the bell.)
Tara: Naomi retains the title, but did she have to do it following a rake to the eyes? These two are supposed to be friends.
Dick: There's no such thing as a friend in the ring.
Jon: I think Naomi is showing Kai that right now, she is still keeping the hold on.
(The ref threatens to reverse the decision unless Naomi lets Kai go. Naomi finally releases the hold.)
Tara: Finally. What got into Naomi Leach?
(Naomi looks like she's calming down more, even helping Kai to her feet.)
Jon: It was a rough match, and things kind of got out of hand between these two, but perhaps things can end the right way anyway.
(Naomi reaches for a handshake and Kai accepts, then Naomi pulls Kai in for another DDT and locks on the Leach Hold all over again.)
Tara: What is she doing?
Dick: Yes, this is a message, friendship ends once the title is at stake.
Jon: This crowd is in shock, they have no idea what to make of this.
(More refs come out, and eventually pry Naomi off of Kai. Kai is out cold.)
Tara: This is terrible, what kind of Ladies FPPVW Champion do we have?
(Kai is brought around and helped out of the ring as the ring is being prepared for the next match.)
Dick: Well the simple fact is, Kai didn't get the job done, and Naomi Leach is still the champion. Thanks for coming, Kai, maybe you weren't as ready as you thought you were.
("Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers skateboards to the ring.)
Tara: Here is the first Heel Stable member in action here tonight, all four wrestlers in the stable will be in matches at WrestlingRevolution, and Nykk is looking to Joey Sprinklers to set the pace for the evening.
("Smoke on the Water" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)
Dick: The supposed "Heel Killer" has a difficult job in front of him, Joey's beaten Kevin before, and I don't think Kevin Stone can get the job done.
Joey Sprinklers vs. Kevin Stone
(Kevin slides in the ring and takes Joey down with a spear right away. Kevin stays in the mounted position and throws punches until the ref pulls him away. Joey and Kevin trade punches, Kevin backs Joey into the corner and Joey holds. The ref calls for a clean break, and separates the two, but Joey sneaks in a low kick. Kevin stumbles back and turns, Joey hitting a reverse DDT onto his knee. Joey covers for two.)
(Kevin gets to his feet and locks up with Joey, hitting an armdrag and backing up. When Joey gets to his feet Kevin charges for another Spear. Joey leapfrogs over Kevin, who hits the corner. Joey charges with a series of knees to the ribs. Kevin rolls to the outside and paces to catch his breath. Joey goes for a baseball slide, but Kevin sidesteps it and pulls Joey to the outside. Kevin whips Joey into the ring steps and charges, Joey rolls out of the way as Kevin sends a knee into the steps.)
(Joey rolls Kevin into the ring and grabs his skateboard. He slides in the ring and approaches Kevin. The ref stops him and tries to grab the skateboard. Jeoy pulls off the wheel and goes around the ref. Kevin sees it and blocks when Joey swings. He hits an inverted atomic drop and tries for a Stone Cutter, but Joey pushes himself away When Kevin lifts him. Kevin turns around and is hit with the wheel. Joey covers, but Kevin kicks out at two.)
Tara: That's the same way that Joey got the victory last month at Countdown, but it couldn't get him the victory here tonight.
(The ref sees the wheel and argues with Joey, confiscating it and threatening to disqualify him. Joey shoves the ref down, the ref almost calls for the bell, but sees Kevin up and standing behind Joey. The ref gets back to his feet and yells at Joey again. As Joey reach back to throw a punch at the ref, Kevin grabs his arm and spins him around, hitting the Stone Cutter. Kevin covers for three.)
Winner: Kevin Stone by pin.
Dick: What the hell was that? The ref wasn't impartial, he distracted Joey!
Tara: It was either that or disqualify Joey, either way the victory goes to Kevin Stone.
Jon: While that might be true, the rules pointed to disqualification. Joey had earned it twice when he used a foreign object and assauted an official. The referee made a judgement call to keep the match going, and I'll go ahead and say it was a wrong one.
Tara: It still goes down in the books as a pinfall victory, though. Doesn't it?
Jon: The outcome of the match wouldn't be changed, the same man would be victorious, I see no reason to overturn the decision.
Dick: No reason? You had a baised ref in the ring, how is that not a good reason?
Jon: Nothing worth pulling out the paperwork for.
(In the arena, Mike Lyles is standing in the ring with David Caldwell.)
Mike: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest will be a unification match to crown the first FPPVW Tag Team Champions! Your official for this contest is David Caldwell.
(David raises his arms into the air.)
Tara: Somehow that scab referee David Caldwell got assigned to this important match, and the crowd is letting him know what they think of him.
Dick: He was the referee in Rio de Janeiro where the Pyro Twins won the tag titles, Tara. Making him the referee was the least Jon Z could do.
(David snatches the mic away from Mike.)
David: And this contest is also "Anything Goes." That means there will be no count outs or disqualifications and weapons are legal, up to and including tables... ladders... chairs... cookie sheets... even fire.
(Mike snatches the mic back from David as "Fuel" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring.)
Tara: This has been three months in the making, ever since the Pyro Twins got back from Rio de Janeiro, where they claimed they became the first FPPVW Tag Team Champions.
Dick: Three months? This has been one year in the making. Remember that the Pyro Twins took on the Eccentrics at FPPVW's first show a year ago.
(The Pyro Twins hold up the "Rio" belts.)
Tara: These sick bastards burned the Eccentrics' manager Pinky, and tried to do the same to the Concession Boyz a week ago. Perhaps tonight is the night that the Eccentrics exact some revenge.
("Pajamarama" hits and Huh and Cheesecake make their way to the ring, carrying the Ohio Tag Team Titles.)
Tara: The Eccentrics have had to endure a lot to make it to this match. Not only witnessing the burning of their manager and their friend Torgo, but they had to win a grueling double elimination tournament to get those Ohio Tag Team Championships, not to mention countless attacks from the Pyro Twins over the last few months.
Dick: The Eccentrics are poseurs and so are their titles. Tonight, Dusty Schneble and Jay Crowe prove that they are the dominant team in FPPVW.
The Eccentrics vs. The Pyro Twins
FPPVW Tag Team Title Match
Anything Goes
(The Eccentrics rush the ring and throw off their titles as David calls for the bell. Huh and Dusty pair off, and so do Cheesecake and Jay, trading right hands. The Pyro Twins get the better of them and whip the Eccentrics into the ropes. The Eccentrics reverse and send the Pyro Twins down with a pair of back elbows. Jay rolls out of the ring as Dusty gets to his feet. He ducks a clothesline from Cheesecake, only to run into a standing avalanche from Huh. Huh then ducks under Cheesecake, who sends Dusty right back down with a clothesline. Huh gets on the apron as Cheesecake hip tosses Dusty and then hits a falling headbutt. Cheesecake executes a back suplex and tags Huh. They whip Dusty into the ropes and hit a double looper. Huh covers, but Dusty kicks out at two. Huh whips Dusty into the corner and hits a running avalanche. He whips Dusty into the opposite corner and tries to do it again, but Dusty moves. He tags Jay, who comes in and hits a spinning heel kick on Huh. He bounces off the ropes and hits a kneedrop. He covers and gets a one count. He whips Huh into the ropes, but Huh reverses and drops to his knees, taking Jay over with a fireman's carry. Huh hits a flapjack on Jay and tags Cheesecake. Cheesecake gives Jay a vertical suplex but misses a legdrop. Jay knees Cheesecake in the face and bounces off the ropes, but gets caught in a spinebuster. Cheesecake gets a two count when Dusty runs in to break it up. Dusty pulls Cheesecakes shirt over his face and starts hitting him with right hands. He backs him in the corner and Jay joins in. They whip Cheesecake into the opposite corner, but Huh lays himself across the corner to cushion Cheesecake. Cheesecake bounces off of Huh and nails the Pyro Twins with a double clothesline. Dusty rolls to the apron and Cheesecake grabs Jay by the hair to prevent him from rolling out of the ring. He gives Jay some forearms and whips him into the corner. Dusty tries the same trick of laying across the top rope, but Cheesecake sees him and reverses on Jay, sending him back into the opposite corner, hitting a back body drop when he staggers out. Cheesecake runs over and clotheslines Dusty off the apron and then tags Huh. They set Jay on the top turnbuckle and Huh climbs up to go for the Eccentric Chair. However, Jay elbows Huh in the face until he gets off the ropes. Jay stands up on the top turnbuckle and leaps off into a double axehandle, but the Eccentrics plant him with a double dropkick before he even hits the mat. Huh covers, but David makes a slow count and Jay kicks out at two. Huh questions David's officiating, and David points to his FPPVW logo. Huh brings Jay to his feet and gives him a headbutt. He bounces off the ropes, but Dusty grabs his foot from the outside and trips him. Jay immediately runs over and drops a quick elbow to the back of the head. He tags Dusty, and they bounce off opposite ropes, hitting the Compactor on Huh. Dusty pulls him to the center of the ring and covers for a two count. Dusty kicks Huh in the ribs as he tries to get up, and then shoves him throat first across the second rope, leaning in and choking him. Huh struggles to his feet and Dusty executes a teardrop suplex and covers for another two count. He brings Huh to his feet and tags Jay, holding Huh's ribs open for Jay to kick him. Jay lifts Huh and hits a gutbuster. He scoop slams Huh and then goes to the top rope. He goes for a senton splash, but Huh moves. Both men crawl to their corners. Jay tags Dusty, and Huh tags Cheesecake moments later. Cheesecake hits Dusty with right hands and whips him into the ropes, hitting a back body drop. Cheesecake bounces off the ropes and hits a swinging neckbreaker. He covers, but Jay comes in and drags Cheesecake off with a choke. Cheesecake drops down and gives Jay a jawbreaker. Jay staggers back to the ropes, and Cheesecake clotheslines him over the top. Dusty attacks from behind with a forearm, and then knees Cheesecake in the face. He goes for a uranage suplex, but Cheesecake elbows Dusty in the head until he escapes, and then kicks him in the midsection. He hits the Long Kiss Goodnight and hooks the leg. David starts a slow count, and at two Jay comes in the ring with a chair and hits Cheesecake in the head. Cheesecake slumps to the mat, and Huh tries to come in but David holds him back. Jay drops the chair on the mat and pulls Cheesecake up, hitting a belly to belly suplex on the chair. He rolls Dusty on top and gets out of the ring. David turns around and starts the count, but Cheesecake barely manages to kick out. Dusty can't believe it, and starts stomping Cheesecake. Jay comes into the ring, and David does nothing to stop him, but when Huh comes in, David holds him back again. The Pyro Twins hit the Mandate of Heaven, and get another close two count. Dusty slams Cheesecake and hits an elbow drop. Dusty sets the chair up near the ropes and sets Cheesecake up for the Rope Burn II. However, Cheesecake counters into a Diamond Cutter, planting Dusty face first on the chair. He crawls to his corner, but Jay comes in and distracts David. Cheesecake tags Huh, but David claims he didn't see it. Huh rolls out of the ring and looks for something under it. Cheesecake tries to hit Jay, but Jay takes him over with a judo throw and locks in a triangle choke. Cheesecake struggles to make it to the ropes and finally does, but David just laughs at him and tells him he can't disqualify Jay for not breaking the hold. Huh emerges from under the ring with a garbage can and hits Jay over the head with it, forcing him to break the hold. Dusty tries to come in, but Huh throws the garbage can at him, knocking him down. Huh gets back on the apron and gets the crowd behind Cheesecake. Cheesecake finally makes the tag, and Huh comes in with clotheslines for Jay and Dusty. He goes after Dusty in the corner, but Jay attacks from behind. They whip him into the ropes and put their heads down, but Huh counters with a double DDT. He goes to the top rope and hits a moonsault on Jay, covering. David makes a two count and then holds his shoulder and cries out in pain, pretending he tore his rotator cuff. Huh gets up and points at him threateningly, and David points to his logo with his "hurt" arm. He backs into a corner, and he knows he's trapped. However, Huh suddenly moves sideways and Dusty barrels into David. Huh backs up and goes for a running avalanche, but Dusty moves and Huh slams into David. David crumples to the mat, and Huh turns around but walks right into Final Darkness from the Pyro Twins. Jay covers, but David is out. After a few moments, referee Erik Bower runs down and tries to make the count, but Huh kicks out at two. Jay tells Erik to wake up David, but Erik points to his logo and kicks David out underneath the bottom rope. Cheesecake comes in and hits Dusty over the head with the chair, and then taps Jay on the shoulder, hitting him in the midsection and then nailing him in the head. Cheesecake holds the chair up and poses as Huh gets to his feet. They signal for the Flathead, and Cheesecake gets Jay to his feet. They hit the Flathead on the chair, and Huh covers. Erik starts to make the count, but at two David pulls him out of the ring and hits him with a right hand. David slides into the ring and makes an extremely slow count. At two, David sees that Jay is out and really slows it down. Finally, Huh gets up and gets in David's face. David backs up, directly into Erik. He turns around and bumps chest to chest, with Erik. Erik shoves him, David shoves back, and finally a full scale ref fight erupts. The Eccentrics and the Pyro Twins pull their respective refs apart, and Vix comes into the ring. She hits a double low blow on the Eccentrics. She yells at them as they slump to the canvas, but suddenly Pinky runs down the aisle, her face bandaged up. She sneaks up behind Vix and hits a picture perfect Screw Driver on her. The Pyro Twins advance on Pinky, but get low blows of their own, this time from the Eccentrics. David tries to stop them, but gets a DDT from Erik. Pinky throws three more chairs into the ring, and they tie up all for heels in a tree of woe in each corner. Huh ties up Jay, Cheesecake ties Dusty, Erik ties David, and Pinky ties Vix. They place the four chairs in front of each person's head and then meet in a huddle in the center of the ring. They then turn around and dropkick the chairs into each person's face. David and Vix are knocked out, and Pinky slides out of the ring and gets a table. She slides it in, and the Eccentrics set it up. They set Jay up on the table, but Dusty pulls a lighter and a can of ether out of his pants pocket. He strikes a flame and sprays the ether into it, going after Pinky. Huh comes over to stop him, but Dusty suddenly drops his items and catches Huh with the Rope Burn. He clotheslines Cheesecake to the ground, and helps Jay off the table. Jay takes a can of lighter fluid out of his pocket and pours it over the table. He then goes to the top rope. Dusty prepares a fireball for Huh, but Huh is able to smack upward and Dusty's fireball goes harmlessly into the air. Huh ducks and Cheesecake throws one of the chairs, nailing Dusty in the head. Dusty staggers back into the ropes, crotching Jay on the top turnbuckle. Huh goes to the second rope and turns Jay around. He puts him on his shoulders, and he and Cheesecake put Jay through the table with the Eccentric Chair. Huh covers, and Erik makes the three count.)
Winners: The Eccentrics
Tara: The Eccentrics did it! They had all the odds stacked against them and they did it!
Dick: Yeah, good thing they had a ref in their pocket!
Tara: Referee Erik Bower couldn't sit by and let David Caldwell ruin this. He and Pinky came out here to even the odds!
(Pinky grabs all four title belts and runs into the ring, looking very weighed down by all the gold. The Eccentrics each take one of the tag title belts and hold them up.)
Tara: What a moment! After a year of hard work, the Eccentrics have become the first FPPVW Tag Team Champions!
(Suddenly, David Caldwell comes back in the ring and pulls the Eccentrics' arms down. He has a mic.)
Tara: What the... what does this little scab want? He just got his ass handed to him by a real ref!
David: Stop the music! Stop it! Huh... Cheesecake... I don't know what you're trying to pull, but I am the assigned official for this match! I say that you, Cheesecake, are too bloody to continue, therefore I must stop this match and award it to... the Pyro Twins!
Tara: He can't do that, the three count's already been made!
David: So you two better hand over those... what the hell are you doing!?
(Cheesecake goes around David and lifts him in a waistlock, hitting the Screw Driver. Pinky and Huh go outside and set up a table.)
Dick: What are they doing to David Caldwell!?
Tara: The Eccentrics have had enough. They're going to do what everyone has wanted to do to this guy and put him out for good!
(Huh slides back in the ring and he grabs David's arms. Cheesecake grabs David's feet. They swing him back and forth a few times and then heave him over the top rope. David crashes through the table and lays still. Their music starts to play again and the Eccentrics pose with the belts.)
Tara: About time!
Dick: This isn't right! He has another match to ref tonight!
Tara: David's not looking so good now, is he? Wouldn't it be a shame if he couldn't ref the main event? That would mean Nykk's agreement with Austin Lee would be out the window, wouldn't it?
(Some paramedics come out to cart off David as the Eccentrics and Pinky dance in the ring.)
Tara: Well, no David Caldwell means no Austin Lee in our next match. Up next, the yearlong feud between Nykk and Ronin Fox finally comes to an end. We're going to take you to a video showcasing how these two came to be here tonight at WrestlingRevolution.
(Footage from the FPPVW Premiere Showcase is shown.)
(Joey Sprinklers runs to the ring with a chair and jumps up on the ring apron as Nykk whips Fox to the ropes, Fox reverses though, and Joey hits Nykk with the chair by mistake.)
Jon: That's not a good way for a lackey to impress his boss on the first day.
(Fox knocks Joey away from the ring with a right hand and turns to Nykk, who's on his feet but still stumbling. He pulls him back to the corner for a tornado DDT.)
Tara: He calls that the "Tail End" I think this one is over.
(Fox covers for the three count.)
Jon: The first singles match in FPPVW history, and the feud on which FPPVW would be built. Ronin Fox and Nykk.
(Footage from FPPVW Shut Up And Wrestle 2003 is shown.)
(Fox stands up and signals for a DDT on the concrete. The ref, worried that this might be going too far and she might have to stop it tries to stop Fox, giving Nykk enough time to get a set of brass knuckles From a plant in the crowd. As Fox steps around the ref and bends down to pull Nykk to his feet, he's met with a right hand that floors him and knocks him out cold. Concealing the knuckles before the ref sees them he puts Fox in the Bellbrookville Cedarleaf. The ref sees Fox is unconscious and calls for the bell.)
Jon: These two names are irrevocably attatched to FPPVW history. They traded wins in the first two main events in FPPVW. They were a part of the only two four way dances for the FPPVW Championship.
(Footage from FPPVW Breakout 2003 is shown.)
(As Alan stomps on Jett, Fox and Nykk square off again, Nykk clotheslining Fox out of the ring and following him with a suicide dive that leaves them both laying on the concrete with no signs of movement. The ref counts them out as Alan sets Jett up for a Tiger Bomb, getting the pin.)
Jon: And both times they succeeded mainly in cancelling each other out. They made a new start on FPPVW Foundation, coming to blows after Fox acted as a referee in a title match between Nykk and Alan Mayse.
(Footage from Foundation, episode 09/05/03 is shown.)
(Alan grabs his belt and gets his hand raised. Fox applauds him until Nykk comes from behind with a vicious chair shot. Alan tries to intervene, but Nykk floors him too, then proceeds to pummel Fox with the chair and his fists as the copyright info appears and the show ends.)
Jon: Nykk tried to leave things with Fox after a victory the next week, as he had earned number one contenders status, and went on to a reign as FPPVW Champion. When that reign ended in January, it wasn't long before this fued came right back to the forefront.
(Footage from FPPVW Burn It Up is shown.)
(Kevin Stone runs to the ring, the ref rolls out to intercept him, turning him away before he can get near enough to interfiere. Nykk locks up with Fox and rakes the eyes. Rolling out of the ring he grabs a chair and slides in quick. He swings, but Fox ducks. Fox kicks Nykk in the midsection, forcing him to drop the chair. He backs to the ropes and goes for the Tail-End DDT, but Nykk holds him up, sets him down on his feet and transitions to a northern lights suplex on the chair. He tosses the chair out of the ring as the ref returns from ejecting Kevin from ringside. Nykk covers for the three count.)
(Footage from Foundation, episode 01/12/04 is shown.)
(In the ring, Fox hits a hard clothesline in the corner and backs up, signaling for the Tail End. He goes for the move, but Nykk reverses into a northern lights suplex and bridges for the cover. He grabs the rope and gets a two count, Silver King runs past Kevin and pulls Nykk's hand off the rope and pushes the pin attempt over to break it. The ref reprimands Silver King and Nykk pokes his head through the ropes and tries to grab him by the hair. King stays far enough back to avoid him. Fox backs up and looks like he's about to go for a plancha to take out both Kevin and King, but the ref turns and stops him. Meanwhile, Kevin picks up a chair and sneaks behind King. Nykk is still half out of the ring yelling at King when Kevin swings, King hears Kevin and ducks. Nykk gets the chair to the head and is knocked back into the ring, Fox covers for the three count.)
Jon: Nykk finally decided he needed to take Ronin Fox out once and for all, which he attempted at FPPVW Gauntlet.
(Footage from FPPVW Gauntlet 2004 is shown, emphasizing the two Aurora Drivers.)
Jon: Fox was down, but not completely out. As Fox's neck was recovering, Nykk secured a title match against Alan Mayse at Countdown.
(Footage from FPPVW Countdown 2004 is shown.)
("Wherever I May Roam" hits, Nykk releases the hold and stands up, looking around. The music stops. Nykk looks confused but turns back to Alan, reapplying the hold. As he locks it on, Ronin Fox comes through the crowd wearing a neckbrace, jumping over the barricade and sliding into the ring. He hits a bulldog on Nykk to break the hold. Fox backs into the corner, waiting for Nykk to stand up, then hits the Tail End DDT before rolling out of the ring. He holds his neck and jumps back over the barricade, leaving through the crowd. Referee Becky Junker reaches the ring just as Alan turns over and makes the cover for three.)
Jon: Now, in the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, after a year of battles, Nykk and Ronin Fox face off once more. This time the match is unsanctioned, as far as FPPVW is concerned it won't happen, but the effects shall be felt for a long time to come.
("My Way" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)
Tara: This is what I've been waiting for, Nykk is finally going to face justice for what he's done to Fox.
Dick: You're supposed to be impartial.
Tara: Oh screw that, this isn't a sanctioned match, I don't have to be professional about it.
Jon: And with that, it's my cue to leave. I already made it clear I wouldn't be responsible for this match, and I don't think I can watch it either.
(Jon stands up and walks away from the broadcast position. He and Nykk glare at each other as they pass in the aisle.)
("Wherever I May Roam" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring. He stops as he passes Jon, they shake hands.)
Dick: What's with all the favoritism?
(Fox gets into the ring and he and Nykk stare at each other from opposite corners.)
Tara: This is the first time Fox has been in a match in over two months.
Dick: Which will hurt him here, as Nykk is still in the swing of things. Fox is bound to have some ring rust.
Nykk vs. Ronin Fox
Unsanctioned Match
(Nykk and Fox step to the center of the ring, circling slowly. Nykk ducks down to try a single leg takedown, but Fox jumps back out of the way. Nykk gets back up and has to quickly duck a clothesline, Fox stops quickly and sweeps Nykk's legs from behind. Fox goes for a legdrop, but Nykk rolls out of the way, getting back up and hitting a swift kick to Fox's jaw. Nykk locks on a cross armbreaker. Fox turns over and applies an anklelock. He transitions into an STF as Nykk drags himself to the ropes.)
(Fox releases the hold and backs away as Nykk gets to his feet, Fox charges for the Tail End early, but gets back body droped over the top rope. Fox lands on the apron but gets hit with a shoulderblock that sends him out and into the guardrail. Nykk waits for Fox to get back to his feet and hits a baseball slide. Nykk pulls Fox up and goes for the Trinity suplexes on the concrete. He hits the rolling back suplex, but Fox blocks the German suplex and reverses the waistlock with a standing switch. Fox hits a reverse tiger suplex and rolls in the ring.)
(Nykk gets into the ring at 7, Fox keeps him down with a stomp. He drags Nykk to the center of the ring and climbs the ropes. Nykk rolls to the ropes and shakes the top rope, crotching Fox on the turnbuckles. Nykk climbs up and hits a superplex. He pulls Fox up and hits Howling Moon I. He covers for two. Nykk pulls Fox up again and sets up for Howing Moon II, but Fox fights free, turning himself and shoving Nykk to the ropes. Fox hits a spinning heel kick.)
(Fox goes for the Tail End again, this time Nykk can't escape it, but turns to send Fox's leg into the ref's face, knocking him down. Fox covers but the ref is out. He tries to help the ref up, reviving him as Nykk recovers. Fox turns to see Nykk charging and ducks out of the way, Nykk hitting the ref with a running leg lariat that sends the ref to the outside floor.)
(Nykk looks out at the ref and turns to get hit with a running dropkick from Fox, who slides to the outside to check on the ref. Nykk slides out of the ring on the other side and gets a chair from the timekeeper. He sneaks around the ring. Fox helps the ref up again and turns, seeing Nykk. Fox yells at the ref to look out and rolls away, but the ref gets caught with a chair to the head.)
(Fox goes to get a chair of his own, and he and Nykk duel with chairs outside the ring. Fox sneaks in a shot to the gut and blasts Nykk over the head. Nykk sinks to his knees and Fox holds up the chair again for another shot, but Nykk hits a low blow. Nykk hits a DDT on his chair outside before sliding back into the ring.)
Tara: I'm not sure, but I think Fox is busted open.
Dick: I would be surprised if he isn't after that DDT.
(Fox climbs back into the ring, bleeding profusely and still carrying a chair. Nykk pulls him up and pushes him into the corner, making him drop the chair and using a series of right hands to open up the cut more. He hits a half nelson bulldog out of the corner and transitions to a full nelson on the mat.)
(Fox struggles up to his feet, but can't break the hold. He forces Nykk backwards into the corner twice, finally breaking away and reaching back to whip Nykk into the opposite corner. He charges forward and hits the Tail End DDT. He covers, but the ref is still out. A second ref runs out and slides in the ring and makes the count. Nykk kicks out at two.)
(Fox gets up looking frustrated, he looks to the turnbuckles and starts to climb them. He looks back at Nykk and waits, going for the Fox Fire. Nykk ducks out of the way as Fox crashes into the mat, and quickly pulls him to the center of the ring, locking on the Bellbrookville Cedarleaf. Fox fights the move, dragging himself close to the ropes, but Nykk pulls him back. Fox crawls again, this time reaching the chair still in the ring, and swinging it backwards into Nykk's head. Fox gets to his feet and charges for the Tail End DDT again, but Nykk holds on and looks ready to hit a northern lights suplex, or the Aurora Driver. Fox struggles in midair and is dropped back to his feet. He scoops Nykk up, upside down and sets him up for Emerald Fusion, dropping him headfirst and covering for the three count.)
Winner: Ronin Fox by pin.
Dick: We need some help! Get some help for Nykk!
Tara: Fox came within an eyelash of taking the Aurora Driver, but came out with a driving move of his own.
Dick: That should be the illegal move, is anyone listening? Get help!
(Fox celebrates, Nykk hasn't moved. Some other refs come out to check on him, eventually a stretcher is brought out. Fox leaves the ring and walks back up the aisle, slapping hands with the fans as Nykk is being helped out of the ring. He eventually gets away from the EMTs, refusing to go out on a stretcher, but is having trouble walking. Joey Sprinklers and the Pyro Twins walk out to offer thier help, but Nykk tells them to leave too, calling them all failures.)
Tara: What an end to a fued that no doubt put FPPVW on the map.
Dick: And what a brave man Nykk is, even in the face of that horrible move, he wants to walk out of the arena on his own steam.
(Nykk almost makes it up the aisle, but collapses near the curtain.)
(Backstage, Shawn and Greg walk into Jon Z's office.)
Jon: Hey guys, loved what you did for the preshow, glad you could help.
Shawn: We're glad to, it's been fun.
Greg: We're just sorry to see you leave DATV.
Jon: Well it's been a good home for us, but it's time to move on. Our DVD production is ready to take over.
Shawn: Well good luck, it's been a hell of a year.
(A snoring sound is heard from a chair by the door.)
Greg: What the hell is that?
(The sleeping man is shown.)
Shawn: Hey, what's up man, been a long time!
Jon: Wait, you know him?
Shawn: Yeah, remember when I told you Ronin Fox and I were in the same study hall once in High School? Well he sat in front of me, and this guy sat in front of him. Fox and I would talk the whole class about wrestling. He'd watch Raw, and I'm man enough to admit I watched Nitro, so we'd always have to fill each other in on what happened.
Jon: Yeah, and what would this guy do?
Shawn: Well, not much of anything really.
Jon: This is kind of embarassing, he's worked for me at least since Foundation started up but...I don't even know his name. What is it?
Shawn: Damned if I know, whenever I tried to get his attention I'd just yell "Hey Sleepo!"
Sleepo: Wha...whowhanow...(snores)
Shawn: Ha, still works.
Greg: Hey, later Jon.
Jon: Yeah, see you downtown, don't be late now.
Shawn: You gotta come on our show sometime.
Jon: We'll see what we can work out.
(Shawn and Greg leave.)
Jon: Well, now I have something to call you, next I just have to figure out what the hell you do.
(Back in the arena "Follow" hits and Cody Hawk makes his way to the ring.)
Dick: How can Jon talk so calmly in the back with guests when Nykk is in so much pain?
Tara: Oh I'm sure he'll lose some sleep tonight over it.
Dick: Don't be sarcastic about this, I'm worried here. Do we have any info from the back?
Tara: We'll announce it if we get it.
("Soul Creation" hits and Cynric makes his way to the ring.)
Cody Hawk vs. Cynric
(Cody and Cynric lock up, Cody hits a knee to the midsection and takes Cynric down with an STO. He moves and turns Cynric over, sending a series of knees to his head. He covers for a one count. Cynric kicks out and sweeps Cody's legs, getting up and hitting a standing elbow drop. He gets up and backs up to the ropes. Cody stands up and gets caught with a rolling koppo kick. He goes to make a cover, but Cody trips him down and locks on an armbar. Cynric fights up to his feet and reverses into an armwringer. Cody kicks at Cynric to break the hold and pulls him in for a vertical suplex. He floats over for a two count.)
(Cynric powers out of the pin and pushes Cody away, hitting a hard clothesline. Cody gets up but gets caught with a spinning heel kick. He gets up again and ducks a high kick only to get caught with a DDT. Cynric goes up to the top rope and hits an elbow smash for two.)
(Cynric keeps Cody on the mat with a side headlock, Cody fights back up and launches Cynric toward the ropes. Cynric runs back and ducks a clothesline, hitting a hangman's neckbreaker. He backs up and waits for Cody, signalling for the Lift Off. Cynric charges but Cody rolls out of the way, ending up behind Cynric. He hits a low blow and sets Cynric up, hitting the Riptide for the pin.)
Winner: Cody Hawk by pin.
Dick: It's been months, and now Cody Hawk is on top. Can Cynric recover from this devestating loss?
Tara: It's been a year of more bad luck than good for Cynric. Everything from losing his partner in the Tag Team Tournament to a tricep injury has held him back, but I still have to believe he's one key win away from being firmly established as a force to be reckoned with.
("The Way I Am" hits and Austin Lee makes his way to the ring.)
Tara: It's time for our main event, a match that's been two months in the making. We've already seen some awesome things here tonight... the crowning of the first FPPVW Tag Team Champions, David Caldwell leaving on a stretcher, Nykk being dropped on his head... but this is bound to top off the night on a high note.
Dick: Austin Lee won Gauntlet back in March, securing him this title shot, and he has put Alan Mayse down with the Degenerate Driver not just once or twice, but three times. Alan has failed to secure a pin over him, yet Austin has pinned Alan twice in tag matches.
Tara: He looks ready, even though his agreement with Nykk fell through and referee Erik Bowers is officiating this contest.
("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)
Tara: And here comes the FPPVW Champion Alan Mayse. It broke down between these two last night on Foundation, and Alan received the worst of the fight. He's got to be sore from that.
Dick: No doubt about it, Austin Lee has all the advantages going into this match.
Tara: This is as good as it gets in FPPVW. In the main event of Wrestling Revolution for the FPPVW Title. Let's go up to our ring announcer Mike Lyles for the introductions.
Mike: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining us tonight at Wrestling Revolution, celebrating FPPVW's first year anniversary. It is now time for our main event! This contest is for the FPPVW Heavyweight Championship, and will be one fall to a finish! In the ring at this time, to my left, is the challenger. From London, England, and weighing in at 245 lbs... Austin Lee!
(Austin raises his arms, but keeps his eyes on Alan.)
Mike: And to my right... from Bellbrook, Ohio, and weighing in at 230 lbs... he is the FPPVW Heavyweight Champion... Alan Mayse!
Alan Mayse vs. Austin Lee
FPPVW Championship Match
(Alan holds the belt up and then gives it to the ref. The ref shows it to Austin and then hands it to Mike, who exits the ring. The ref calls for the bell, and Alan and Austin approach each other. Austin does some trash talking, poking Alan in the chest, and Alan shoves him. Austin retaliates with a slap to the face. Alan gives him a slap of his own. Austin holds his face for a moment and then locks up with Alan. He drives Alan back into a corner, and the ref calls for a break. Austin breaks clean, but then piefaces Alan. Alan comes out of the corner and locks up with Austin again. Austin drives Alan back into another corner, and breaks clean again, this time dropping to one knee to elbow Alan in the midsection. He hits Alan with a couple of forearms to the back of the head and whips Alan into the opposite corner and charges. Alan tips up and Austin manages to stop himself by grabbing the top rope. Alan then armdrags Austin as he charges back out of the corner. Austin gets up and gets hiptossed. Alan then gives him a Japanese armdrag. Austin gets up, frustrated, but calms himself down. He goes to lock up with Alan again, but at the last instant goes for a right hand. Alan sees it coming and ducks, nailing Austin with three rights of his own. He whips Austin into the ropes, but Austin reverses. Alan takes Austin down with a flying headscissors. Austin backs into a corner, and Alan charges, hitting a clothesline. As Austin staggers back out, Alan armdrags him again and segues into an armbar. Austin regains his feet after a few moments and backs Alan to the ropes, whipping him to the other side. He sends down Alan with a shoulderblock and bounces off the ropes. Alan drops down and hits Austin with a dropkick on the rebound. Austin doesn't go down, and Alan gets a double leg takedown. He slingshots Austin into the corner and then executes a vertical suplex on him as he comes out. He covers and gets a one count.)
Tara: Alan, somewhat surprisingly, has taken the early advantage here against the larger Austin Lee.
Dick: Alan is doing a good thing by anticipating what Austin is going to do. If he can keep this up, he'll frustrate Lee and have him beat in no time.
(Alan executes a backbreaker and covers again for another one count. Austin gets to his feet and backs up against the ropes, and Alan gives him some chops to the chest. He whips him into the ropes, but Austin reverses and hits a reverse elbow. He covers Alan and gets a one count. He brings Alan to his feet and tries a vertical suplex, but Alan escapes and gets a waistlock. They run to the ropes and bounce off, with Alan getting a roll up. He gets a two count before Austin shoves him off into the ropes. Alan bounces off as Austin tries for a monkey flip, but Alan somersaults through Austin's legs and gets to his feet. Austin charges Alan, but Alan throws him over the top rope and to the floor. Alan goes to the top rope and hits a plancha onto Austin on the outside. He tries to whip Austin into the stairs, but Austin reverses and Alan goes into the stairs. Austin rams Alan's head into the apron and then picks him up, dropping him across the guardrail. Alan slumps to the ground as Austin rolls back in the ring. The ref starts the count, but at four, Austin exits the ring and throws Alan back in. He chokes Alan with the middle rope, and breaks at the four count. He bounces off the opposite side and tries to jump onto Alan's back, but Alan moves and Austin crotches himself on the middle rope. Alan hits him with right hands as he staggers around the ring and then bounces off the ropes. Austin hits a back body drop, sending Alan over the top and to the floor. Austin gets out and rams Alan's head into the timekeeper's table. The ref also exits the ring, trying to get the two of them back in it. Austin clotheslines Alan, and then goes for a chair. He goes to hit Alan with it, but the ref takes it away from him. Austin turns around to chew out the ref, and as the ref is putting the chair away, Alan comes from behind with another chair and hits Austin across the back. Alan quickly drops the chair and grabs Austin, throwing him across the announce table.)
Dick: Hey! Do we look like we speak Spanish!?
Tara: We're having our space invaded here... this is the main event, the fans want a winner, so obviously the ref is giving these two a little leniency.
(Alan rams Austin's head into the table over and over again. Austin gets off the table and Alan backs up. He charges Austin, but gets hit with a savate kick. Austin then executes a powerbomb, putting Alan through the table.)
Dick: Where will I set my coffee now?
Tara: I think Alan is thinking that it wasn't such a good idea to take this to the outside.
Dick: Obviously, Austin is the better brawler out of the two.
(Austin throws Alan back in the ring and makes the cover, getting a two count. He applies a front facelock. Alan starts to lose consciousness, and the ref drops his hand once. On the second time, Alan's hand remains in the air and he gets to his feet. He tries to lift Austin off his feet, but can't quite get him up. Austin forearms him in the back and goes back to the front facelock. Alan gets to his feet again and hits Austin in the ribs until his grip loosens. Then Alan moves in and executes a northern lights suplex for a two count. Austin gets to his feet first and lifts Alan to hit a sidewalk slam. He signals for the Degenerate Driver and sets Alan up for it. Alan counters with a backdrop, and hits Austin with some rights. He whips him into the ropes and puts his head down, but Austin counters with a hangman's neckbreaker. He covers for a two count. Austin gets up and goes to the corner. He measures Alan and goes for a kneedrop, but Alan moves. Austin gets to his feet, limping and looking like he tweaked the knee. Alan sees it, and kicks at the back of Austin's knee, sending him down. Austin gets to his feet again, but Alan kicks at the knee again. Alan tries to move in, but Austin pokes him in the eye. Austin moves in, but Alan hits a drop toehold, and Austin lands on his knee. He gets back to his feet, and Alan bounces off the ropes. Austin tries to kick him, but Alan catches his foot. Austin takes a couple of swings, but Alan easily avoids them and hits a dragon screw legwhip. He then applies the Maysochist. Austin screams in pain, and looks like he's about to tap out. He tries to get to the ropes, and after about twenty seconds, does so. Alan releases the hold.)
Tara: Austin Lee just made a big mistake and it nearly cost him there. If he had been any farther away from the ropes, he would have tapped out.
Dick: This is the biggest match of both men's careers thus far. You cannot afford to get cocky in this situation and do your Ric Flair impression.
(Alan kicks at the knee as Austin gets up and whips him into the ropes. Austin counters with an armwringer and pulls Alan in, executing a belly to belly suplex. Austin gets up, stretching his knee out and trying to get feeling back into it. Alan gets to his feet, and Austin executes a gutwrench powerbomb. He then bounces off the ropes and hits a legdrop, covering for a two count. Austin applies the Crimson Cloverleaf. He sees he's close to the ropes, so he puts his feet on the bottom rope and leans back for extra leverage. Alan cries out in pain and nearly taps. The ref looks at Austin and Austin gets off the ropes. The ref goes back to checking on Alan, and Austin puts his feet on the ropes again. Alan cries out in pain again, but Austin gets off the ropes when the ref checks. Alan starts to fight out of the move, and wriggles around until he is almost doing a headstand on the mat. He maneuvers his way through Austin's legs until he is on his back. Austin tries to turn him over again, but Alan suddenly twists his body the other way, making Austin lose his balance and somersaulting him. Austin immediately gets to his feet and drops an elbow on Alan's back. He picks Alan up and goes for the Degenerate Driver, but Alan counters with a hurricanrana, which sends Austin chest first into the corner. As he turns around, Alan executes an exploder suplex. They both lay on the mat, and the ref starts the count. At eight, they are back to their feet and Austin hits Alan with a right. Alan blocks it and delivers a couple right hands of his own. He whips Austin into the ropes and hits a back body drop. He then hits an inverted atomic drop, and bounces off the ropes, sending Austin down with a clothesline. He covers and gets a two count. Alan goes to the outside and waits for Austin to get up. He delivers a slingshot dropkick and signals for the Tiger Bomb. He picks Austin up and hits the Tiger Bomb, but Austin kicks out at two. Not surprised, Alan picks him up for another. Austin counters with a backdrop, but Alan hangs on and takes him over with a sunset flip for a very close two count. Furious, Austin gets up and charges Alan with a clothesline. Alan ducks, and Austin bounces off the ropes. Alan puts his head down, and Austin counters with a DDT. Alan holds his neck in pain and Austin quickly picks him up and executes the Degenerate Driver. At the last moment, Alan kicks out, causing Austin to swear. He goes to the corner, and takes off the top turnbuckle pad. The ref tries to get it from him, but Austin throws it to the outside. The ref goes out after it, and Austin tries to ram Alan's head into the turnbuckle. Alan grabs the top rope with his hands, and won't go in. Austin gives him a back suplex instead as the ref re enters the ring. Austin goes for the Crimson Cloverleaf again, but Alan pushes him off with his legs, and Austin goes back first into the exposed turnbuckle. Alan gets up and gives Austin another Tiger Bomb. He gets another very close two count, but Austin still kicks out. Alan picks him up and whips him into the corner. He charges, but Austin elbows him in the face. He tries another back suplex, but Alan escapes and clips the knee. Austin goes down, and Alan goes to the top rope. Austin manages to stagger up and push Alan's legs, crotching him on the top turnbuckle. Austin goes up for a superplex, but Alan hits him with rights and stands up, maneuvering him into a standing headscissors on the top. Alan hooks Austin's arms and lifts him into the air, coming off the top rope with a Tiger Bomb. After a couple of seconds, Alan crawls on top of Austin and hooks his leg for the three count.)
Winner: Alan Mayse
Tara: Alan did it! The odds were stacked against him, but he still managed to pull off the victory! If anyone didn't think that Alan deserved his championship, tonight they were proven wrong.
Dick: I've got to hand it to him, Tara. It was a great match, and Austin threw everything he had at Alan, but Alan apparently has more tricks up his sleeve than we give him credit for.
(As Alan celebrates with the belt, Austin staggers to his feet. They stare at each other for a few moments, and then Alan offers his hand. Austin continues to stare at him, and then merely claps three times before leaving the ring.)
Tara: I guess that's as much sportsmanship as we're going to get out of Austin Lee.
Dick: What did you expect? This changes nothing. Austin still wants that belt.
Tara: We hope you have enjoyed Wrestling Revolution as much as we have. Happy first anniversary, FPPVW, and we look forward for many more to come. For Dick Broccoli, I'm Tara Fisher. Good night everyone, and thank you.
