(Opening video plays to the tune of "Show Me How to Live")
Tara: Welcome everyone to the Hobart Arena in Troy Ohio, this is Tara Fisher alongside Dick Broccoli and it is one hot night.
Dick: We've just about made it through the longest day of the year, and we're set for a night of FPPVW action at Sunstroke. Alan Mayse has already relinquished the FPPVW Championship, and it is hanging above the ring waiting for the title match between Alan and Austin Lee.
(The Aki Mann Theme hits and Aki Mann makes his way to the ring. Aki's mask is different this time, it's dark green with a leaf-like shape over the eyes.)
Tara: We're not wasting any time here, on the first FPPVW event to be released exclusively on DVD. Aki Mann is out here on his own today, his tag team partner Swinger has been given the night off.
("Push It" by Static X hits and Hydro makes his way to the ring.)
Dick: Here's who I've been waiting to see, Hyrdo making his FPPVW debut here tonight. He's made himself a reputation in the Ring of Honor and many other promotions across the country capturing numerous titles. He's held the JAPW Cruiserweight and Television titles, the UCW United States and World titles, the IHPW US title, and three championships in JCW, the Cruiserweight, Television, and J-Cup titles.
Tara: We'd like to thank obsessedwithwrestling.com for the background info.
Aki Mann vs. Hydro
(Hydro locks up with Aki and goes behind into a waistlock. He hits a side Russian legsweep on Aki and backs up. Aki stands up, and Hydro hits a snap suplex. He goes to the top rope, but Aki rolls to the ropes and uses them to get to his feet. He shakes the ropes and crotches Hydro. He climbs up after Hydro and hits a DDT off the ropes. Aki climbs up top and hits a guillotine legdrop for two. Hydro kicks out and rolls outside. Aki hits the ropes and goes for a plancha, but Hydro moves, and Aki lands hard on the concrete. Hydro slides in the ring. The ref starts the count. Aki gets to his feet at six, but Hydro keeps him out of the ring with a baseball slide. Hydro throws Aki back in the ring and follows him. He whips Aki to the corner and hits a series of punches followed by a European uppercut that sends Aki to the mat. He climbs the ropes and hits a diving head-butt. Hydro gets up to his knee, but Aki grabs him by the ankle and applies the Aki Ankle Lock. Hydro turns over and kicks Aki away. Hydro gets up to his feet and kicks at Aki's side. Aki catches Hydro's foot, and Hydro hits the EnziFury. Hydro pulls Aki up and hits the Lethal Injection for the pin.)
Winner: Hydro by pin.
Tara: Hydro gets the win here at Sunstroke with the Lethal Injection, lets take a close look at the move.
(Replays are shown.)
Dick: Very impressive, and anytime someone causes Aki Mann pain it puts a smile on my face.
(Backstage, Huh and Cheesecake pace outside a door.)
Huh: Come on, we've got to go over our strategy.
Cheesecake: If you don't come out, we'll ju'th't have to drag you out.
Cynric: (From the other side.) I don't know about this, I mean I was happy to help out in the match since my brother couldn't be here, but...
Cheesecake: Oh th'top it, everything will be fine. Ju'th't becau'th'e I wanted a little team unity and gave you your new ring outfit you turn into a great big gloom factory, it'th th'uch a turn off.
(Cynric opens the door, and is clad in an extremely tight pair of shorts and shirt with very bright loud colors.)
Cheesecake: Yeah, you look like one of u'th now.
Cynric: Screw this!
(Cynric tries to turn around and walk back through the door, but Huh and Cheesecake grab his arms and pull him back.)
Huh: Cut it out, we have to plan. Now the way I see it, this is a six man tag, so we'll have to account for at least three opponents...
("Fell in Love With a Girl" hits and LuFisto makes her way to the ring.)
Tara: We're set for our first of two title matches here tonight, the challenger for the Ladies FPPVW Championship on the way to the ring.
Dick: LuFisto is an impressive competitor, but Naomi Leach hasn't even come close to letting go of that title belt since it was first strapped around her waist.
("Social" hits and Naomi Leach makes her way to the ring.)
Naomi Leach vs. LuFisto
Ladies FPPVW Championship Match
(LuFisto offers a handshake, Naomi just smacks her. LuFisto smacks her back, and as Namoi throws a right hand, LuFisto ducks under and hits a sidewalk slam. LuFisto turns Naomi over and traps her leg, applying a rear chinlock. Naomi quickly gets to the ropes. Both get to their feet and LuFisto tries for a vertical suplex, but Naomi blocks and hits a brainbuster. She covers for two.)
(LuFisto rolls away from Naomi and gets to her feet. She runs at Naomi and hits a dropkick that sends her to the corner. LuFisto climbs up the ropes, trapping Naomi in the corner, and starts throwing punches. Naomi counters with a spinebuster. Naomi tries to apply the Leach Hold, but LuFisto fights free. LuFisto turns to get away, but Naomi catches her and hits a tornado reverse DDT. She turns LuFisto over and applies an STF. LuFisto refuses to tap out. Naomi releases the hold and stomps LuFisto repeatedly before blatantly choking her. Referee Becky Junker pulls Naomi away and they argue. Becky turns away to check on LuFisto and Naomi hits a bulldog on Becky that knocks her out cold. Naomi pulls LuFisto to her feet and shoves her into the corner. She attacks with right hands, that LuFisto eventually blocks. LuFisto tries to fight out of the corner, but is stopped by a kick to the knee. As LuFisto stumbles, Naomi picks her up and ties her in the tree of woe. She hits a knee smash on LuFisto and slides to the outside, getting a chair.)
(Naomi climbs back into the ring and measures LuFisto for a shot to the head with the chair. LuFisto quickly hits a drop toe hold that sends Naomi headfirst into the second turnbuckle. LuFisto retrieves the chair and backs up, waiting for Naomi to get back up before blasting her in the back of the head. Naomi collapses in the corner and LuFisto drops the chair. Picking up Naomi in a fireman's carry, LuFisto hits the Lucy Launcher on the chair. She tosses the chair out of the ring and covers, but the ref is still out.)
(Shadow suddenly appears in the crowd and jumps the guardrail. She slides in the ring and goes to help LuFisto wake the ref. As soon as the ref starts to stir, but before she's fully aware, Shadow hits a reverse Diamond Cutter on LuFisto and slides out of the ring, disappearing through the crowd.)
Tara: What was that about? Where did Shadow come from and what does she have against LuFisto?
Dick: She's just correcting an injustice, LuFisto was trying to steal the Ladies Championship.
Tara: Did anything seem strange about Shadow? Something familiar?
Dick: She wasn't out there long, I didn't notice anything.
(Naomi crawls over and covers LuFisto for the three count.)
Winner: Naomi Leach by pin.
Tara: LuFisto tried to take advantage of the situation, and could have been seconds away from the Ladies Championship. If not for Shadow making her presence felt, Naomi Leach might have been short one title belt, and I don't even think she knows it. She looks out of it.
(Naomi gets her belt and stumbles away from the ring. LuFisto sits up and searches the crowd, looking for Shadow.)
Tara: I don't blame her for being upset, Shadow didn't stick around for explanations.
Dick: What's to explain, she came, she stopped LuFisto from achieving a tainted victory, she left. What more do you want?
Tara: Well regardless, Naomi Leach has retained here at Sunstroke.
("Seek and Destroy" hits, The Pyro Twins and Joey Sprinklers make their way to the ring.)
Dick: I cannot wait for this, I have been waiting for the Heel Stable to make a strong statement again, the way they used to. I feel it, tonight they are making a strong example of The Eccentrics and Cynric.
("Pajamarama" hits and The Eccentrics make their way to the ring. After a moment, Cheesecake turns around and drags Cynric out to the ring. Cynric is trying to put a black t-shirt over the outfit Cheesecake gave him. He gets it on just as they make it to the ring.)
The Heel Stable vs. The Eccentrics and Cynric
(Huh starts against Jay. Jay gets an armwringer, Huh reverses, Jay releases the hold and transitions into a judo throw and a triangle hold. Huh hooks the rope with his foot and reaches back to trip Jay when the hold gets released. He hits a splash and covers for one. Jay kicks out with authority and rolls away, hitting a spinning heel kick on Huh and dragging him to the Heel Stable's corner. Jay tags in Dusty and they hit the Compactor on Huh. Dusty goes to the top rope and hits a kneedrop. He turns Huh onto his back and assaults him with right hands before walking toward the Eccentric's corner and giving Cheesecake and Cynric the finger. Cynric jumps in the ring and is held back by the ref while the Pyro Twins hit the Mandate of Heaven on Huh. Jay stays in the ring, Dusty leaves. The ref turns after ejecting Cynric from the ring and questions Jay, who assures him there was a tag. Jay pulls Huh to his feet and sets him up for a belly to belly suplex. Huh rolls toward his corner and tries to make a tag, but Jay charges the corner and knocks Cynric off the apron, hitting a knife edge chop on Cheesecake. Jay pulls Huh back to the Heel Corner as Cynric again gets in the ring and is headed off by the ref. Cheesecake runs around the ring and pulls Joey Sprinklers off the apron, hitting a gutwrench suplex on the floor. The Pyro Twins hit Final Darkness on Huh and Jay covers, but Cheesecake slides in the ring and hits the Screw-Driver on Dusty before breaking the pin with a kick to Jay's head. Cynric sees this and redoubles his efforts to get past the ref, eventually leading the ref to look into a neutral corner, continuing the distraction long enough for Cheesecake to drag Huh to the Eccentric's corner. Cynric gets out of the ring and the ref turns back to the action in time to see Huh tag in Cheesecake.)
(Cheesecake hits a back suplex on Jay, and locks on a cross arm breaker. Cheesecake moves with the move in a strange way, Jay suddenly panicking and breaking away. He runs to make the tag but Cheesecake tackles him from behind and drags him back, setting him up for a pumphandle slam, which Cheesecake also seems to enjoy too much. Jay crawls away after the move and slips under the ropes to the ring apron. Cheesecake swings with a right hand, but Jay ducks back and hits a shoulderblock to the midsection. He springboards to the top rope and hits a flying clothesline, rolling to the Heel corner and tagging in Joey.)
(Joey reluctantly gets in the ring and locks up with Cheesecake, who gets a waistlock and holds on. Joey reverses with a standing switch, but Cheesecake doesn’t struggle, seeming okay with that too. Joey just lets go and backs away. Cheesecake advances on Joey, rubbing his hands together. Joey backs into the corner and kicks Cheesecake in the side, closing in with a right hand. Joey whips Cheesecake into the corner and hits a reverse DDT into his knee. He covers for two.)
(Cheesecake and Joey lock up, Cheesecake tries for a swinging neckbreaker, but Joey breaks free and shoves Cheesecake away. Cheesecake backs into the Eccentric's corner and Cynric tags himself in. He hits a rolling koppo kick on Joey, then a spinning heel kick on Dusty as he runs in. Jay tries to sneak up behind him but Cynric turns and hits a sweep, quickly locking on a sharpshooter. Joey tries to kick Cynric, but Cynric releases his hold and catches Joey's foot, hitting a dragon screw legwhip and quickly going to the ropes. He signals for an elbow smash and jumps, but Dusty grabs Joey and pulls him out of the way.)
(The ref tries to restore order, but The Pyro Twins trade off stomping on Cynric while the ref tries to get the other away. Cheesecake runs back in and clotheslines Dusty over the top rope. Huh climbs the ropes and hits the Huhsault on Jay. Joey pulls Cynric up and tries for Da Sprinklinator, but Cynric knees him in the midsection and backs away. Cynric rushes forward and hits the Lift Off, covering for the pin.)
Winners: Cynric and the Eccentrics by pin.
Tara: The Heel Stable has been humbled again, Cynric just took Joey down.
Dick: This is horrible! What about the Eccentrics interference? What about that stunt of Cheesecake's earlier in the match? Doesn't the referee care about this? This wouldn't have happened if they had gotten David Cauldwell to officiate the match.
Tara: I don't think Mr. Cauldwell is too eager to get into the ring with the Eccentrics again.
(Austin Lee is backstage, sitting on the top of a ladder as the camera shoots up.)
Austin: Well Alan, here we are. It's the longest day of the year, it's the biggest crowd yet, and it's your last day holding your FPPVW Championship. All this time I've been scraping by, I've fought the scrubs at the FPPVW arena, I've looked for my chance, I've truly already climbed the ladder. All I have left is to look up and snatch the future of this organization. Soon, FPPVW will be no more, and what was the FPPVW Championship will be the title belt for a growing force heading it's way into pay per view. That championship is going to be around the waist of a true champion when that happens. Alan, you've had your fun playing top dog in a tiny arena, but it's time to pass on the reigns to someone who can work on a national level. Alan, I'll see you in the ring, from above.
("Copa Cabana" hits and Colt Cabana makes his way to the ring.)
Tara: Strong words from Austin Lee, though some of them are undoubtedly true. FPPVW is growing to the point where soon the term "Future" in Future Pay Per View Wrestling won't apply.
("Crazy Train" hits and Silver King makes his way to the ring.)
Colt: Whoa, whoa, whoa, King. Damn...I thought Jerry Lawler was the Burger King, but it looks like you've been getting it your way too. Bet you loooove that place. Now I know you're a bit sore about the way I knocked you out cold in front of the world, but these things happen when a WCW reject steps into the ring with the original Cabana Boy.
Tara: Does he mean that to sound bad ass?
Dick: What? You don't think it does?
Colt: If you're ready, then just step up, and just like last time you'll end up staring down the barrel of a .45!
Silver King vs. Colt Cabana
(Colt takes control with a fireman's carry neckbreaker. He stomps King and jumps up on the second rope. He gets caught by a dragonscrew legwhip off the ropes by King, who hits a quick moonsault. He pulls Colt to his feet and hits a shoulder spin powerbomb, covering for two.)
(Colt rakes the eyes and rolls away. The ref gets in his face, but is ignored as Colt hits a lariat on Silver King and applies a reverse crossface. King gets to the ropes, but Colt keeps the hold on until the ref counts four. Colt finally lets go and hits three quick elbow drops. King rolls to the outside. Colt hits a baseball slide that sends King to the guardrail, then hits an Asai moonsault. The ref starts the count, Colt slides in the ring at 7. The count starts again, King barely getting in at 8. King uses the ropes to get back up as Colt backs into the ropes and charges. King backdrops Colt to the ring apron. Colt lands on his feet and aims a knee to the kidneys through the ropes, trying for a vertical suplex to the outside. King reverses and suplexes Colt into the ring, rolling out to the apron himself and getting up to his a catapult somersault senton. King signals for the Silver Surfer and locks it on, Colt taps out.)
Winner: Silver King by submission.
Tara: Silver King really knows how to lock that submission on, Colt had no choice but to tap.
Dick: Colt, you've disappointed me today, I know you're better than that. This isn't over, I can tell you that much.
("My Way" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring as Colt and Silver King are still leaving.)
Tara: Nykk has had his mind on business all day, we haven't heard a word out of him. It's been wonderful.
(Nykk gets a mic.)
Tara: Crap, I need to learn when to shut up.
Dick: No argument here.
Nykk: I've been in the back watching, like always, but there's one thing I haven't done yet. I usually have a long conversation with any member of the stable after they have a match, but after the humiliation the Heel Stable suffered here tonight, I can't think of a single thing I'd want to say to them. I've poured myself into the Heel Stable, trying to make it strong, trying to make it a driving force of the wrestling world, and I'm tired of being the only one of the four of us that cares. If you can't get serious, I guess I have to show you how it's done.
("Smoke on the Water" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)
Dick: Kevin is on his way to face a true leader.
Tara: The Heel-Killer is aiming high tonight, perhaps if he can get this victory it can be the final nail in the coffin of the Heel Stable here in FPPVW.
Nykk vs. Kevin Stone
(Nykk and Kevin circle each other, Nykk ducking down to try for a single leg takedown, Kevin leaps back to avoid it. Kevin reaches and grabs Nykk's arm, whipping him to the ropes. He misses a clothesline and goes for a spear. Nykk leapfrogs over and continues running the ropes. Kevin lowers his head and is kicked down by Nykk. Nykk applies an ankle lock, Kevin fighting but can't break the hold. Nykk releases and stomps the lower back of Kevin. Kevin rolls to escape, catching Nykk's foot and pulling him down on the mat too. Kevin tries to lock on a side headlock, but Nykk slips out and applies a full nelson. Kevin rolls, putting Nykk on his back. The ref counts two before Nykk releases the hold. Both get to their feet and Nykk charges with a knee to the midsection and a half nelson bulldog. Kevin rolls outside the ring. Nykk stays inside and waits, Kevin catches his breath and gets back in at 5. Kevin and Nykk stare each other down, they lock up and Kevin hits an inverted atomic drop. He backs into the ropes and charges with a hard clothesline. Kevin gets up on the second rope and waits, hitting a flying clothesline when Nykk gets back up. Kevin keeps Nykk down with mounted punches and goes for a cover, getting a two count.)
(Nykk fights out and gets to his feet. Kevin charges and Nykk hits a drop toe hold. Nykk turns Kevin over and applies a figure four. Kevin fights and tries to turn over, the ref checks to see if he'll submit. Nykk is close to the ropes, and grabs them for leverage, keeping Kevin on his back. Kevin's shoulders go down and Nykk gets a two count. Eventually the ref catches Nykk using the ropes and forces him to break the hold, but Kevin can barely stand. Kevin gets to his feet using the ropes, but Nykk immediately takes him down with a chop block. Nykk pulls Kevin away from the ropes and gets another ankle lock. Kevin crawls desperately and gets to the ropes, Nykk letting go and aiming a standing elbow drop to Kevin's back. Nykk pulls Kevin up and hits a backbreaker, locking on a bow and arrow. Nykk gets a little careless and his shoulders go down again, the ref counting two. Nykk pulls Kevin to his feet and hits the Trinity suplexes, covering, but pulling Kevin up at two. He pulls Kevin up again and hits Howling Moon I. He goes to cover, but stops and pulls Kevin up again instead. He sets Kevin up for Howling Moon II. He lifts him up, but Kevin blocks and turns in Nykk's grasp, hitting a northern lights suplex.)
(Kevin is too hurt to capitalize, the ref starts to count both men out. At 8, Nykk gets up to his feet. He waits as Kevin climbs up to his feet using the ropes and whips him to the ropes. Nykk hits a running leg lariat and tries to apply the Bellbrookville Cedarleaf. Kevin reaches the ropes before it's locked on and holds on for dear life. Nykk stomps him and drags him back to the center of the ring. Nykk looks around, as if unsure how to put Kevin away. He goes to climb the ropes. Kevin crawls over to the corner and hits a punch to the midsection, stunning Nykk. Kevin climbs up and tries to set Nykk up for a superplex. Nykk fights it, hitting punches to the sides, and sets Kevin up for a top rope powerbomb. Kevin struggles and pulls away, headbutting Nykk who falls and crotches himself on the top rope. Kevin climbs back down and uses the ropes to hit a modified Stone Cutter. He covers for three.)
Winner: Kevin Stone by pin.
Tara: He did it! The Heel-Killer has just beaten the leader of the Heel Stable himself!
Dick: This is a dark day for the Heel Stable, I can't believe Nykk let this happen. Nykk? What were you doing? Why did you have to toy with him?
(Replays are shown of Nykk in control, but not finishing off Kevin, finally ending with the Stone Cutter and pin.)
Dick: Nykk might have had this match won with the Trinity, but it just wasn't enough for him. Howling Moon I connected, but he just wouldn't end the match. Kevin was vulnerable at the end, his legs were failing and his lower back was in pain, he was in the perfect position to tap out to the Bellbrookville Cedarleaf, but why Nykk? Why did you have to go to the top rope?
Tara: Hindsight is 20/20 after all, Nykk made a mistake taking this victory for granted, and Kevin was more than willing to put this Heel down.
(Kevin celebrates in the ring, and makes a lap slapping hands with the crowd before leaving. The rest of the Heel Stable comes out, offering to help Nykk. Nykk doesn't even react to their presence, but just rolls out of the ring and walks away.)
Tara: It's come to this, we are moments away from the first ever FPPVW ladder match. Alan Mayse has already handed over the FPPVW Championship Belt, it's hanging overhead as we speak, lets get a look.
Dick: There it is, Alan has given it up and he'll never touch it again. I'm making the prediction right now, Austin Lee is leaving at FPPVW Champion.
("The Way I Am" hits and Austin Lee makes his way to the ring. He stops at the ladder that's been set up in the aisle and checks it out, rocking it to see how sturdy it is.)
Tara: He came up short at Wrestling Revolution, but on practically every other exchange they've had, Austin Lee has had the advantage over Alan.
("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring. He walks by the ladder, looking it somewhat cautiously.)
Alan Mayse vs. Austin Lee
FPPVW Championship Ladder Match
(Alan and Austin circle each other, looking from each other to the ladder outside and back. Austin backs against the ropes and quickly goes outside, running to get the ladder already. Alan slides out after him and takes him down with a chop block. He pulls Austin up and whips him back toward the ring. Austin hits the side of the ring and waits for Alan to charge. He jumps up and grabs the middle rope, kicking his legs up and hitting a headscissor takedown. Austin goes for the ladder again and folds it up. Alan grabs it and the two play tug of war with it. Alan pushes the ladder into Austin's face and yanks it away, but has to fight to keep his balance. Austin ducks low and hits a spear on Alan, Alan drops the ladder.)
(Austin stomps Alan and picks up the ladder, setting it on top of Alan. He hops up on the ring apron and jumps, hitting a leg drop on the ladder across Alan. Austin pulls the ladder toward the ring and slides it in. Alan grabs his foot before Austin can slide in. Austin stomps on Alan's head with his free leg and breaks away. He pulls Alan up and tries for a powerbomb on the floor, but Alan breaks free of Austin's grasp in midair and lands on his feet. Alan picks Austin up in a fireman's carry and walks away from the ring before hitting a Samoan drop. Alan hurries to the ring, sliding in and setting up the ladder. Austin crawls to the ring and inside as Alan starts climbing. Austin gets up and pushes the ladder over, Alan falling and hitting the ropes chest first, snapping back up to his feet and wandering into a DDT by Austin. Austin re-folds the ladder and picks it up. Alan gets up and is clotheslined back down using the ladder. Austin then drives the top of the ladder into Alan's chest, then he turns it over and uses the bottom step to choke him. Austin sets up the ladder and starts to climb. Alan fights to get to his feet and goes toward the ladder. Austin spots him and turns, jumping to try a double axhandle. Alan ducks his head to the side, avoiding the blow, and catches Austin for a northern lights suplex. Alan rolls away from Austin, and both start crawling for the ladder. They start climbing up, Austin a little faster than Alan. As the reach the top, and Austin starts reaching up for the title, Alan aims a right hand through the steps into Austin's stomach. Austin doubles over the top of the ladder and Alan climbs up, hitting knife edge chops on Austin, who leans back, almost dangling off the ladder. A big right hand stuns Austin and Alan climbs up a step to try and reach the belt. Austin starts to fall, but grabs hold of the ladder on the way down and pulls it with him. Austin lands on the mat hard, while Alan flies over the ropes and too the floor. A "holy shit" chant starts up and both men remain motionless.)
Alan stirs on the outside, and starts trying to get his feet under him. Austin crawls over to the ladder, and tries to get it set up again while still on his knees. He sees Alan about to get into the ring and pushes the ladder into the corner. He grabs Alan and pulls him into the ring, whipping him into the ladder. Austin charges with a big boot, but Alan ducks and Austin's leg goes through the rungs of the ladder and he gets stuck. Alan pushes the ladder over, knocking Austin down backwards with the ladder over him. Austin fights to get his leg free and does, but Alan picks up the ladder and throws it down sideways on Austin's torso. He goes up to the top rope. Austin quickly gets out from under the ladder and runs to the corner, launching Alan onto the ladder. Alan rolls into the corner, curled up in a ball, as Austin sets up the ladder to climb again. He gets up half way before Alan crawls back over and pulls on his foot. Austin turns around and kicks at Alan, who tries to climb right over Austin to get to the top. They trade punches, both uneasily keeping balance. Austin knocks Alan off into the ropes and jumps down, hitting a flying headscissors takedown. Both reach their feet at about the same time and start throwing punches, neither of them able to block effectively. Austin kicks low and sets Alan up for a Degenerate Driver, but doesn’t hit the move right way, just holds Alan up. Austin backs up into the ladder and carefully takes three steps up before dropping with an elevated Degenerate Driver. Another "holy shit" chant results.)
(Austin starts climbing, looking completely exhausted, having to stop every step and make sure the beat up ladder stays balanced. He gets almost within reach of the belt, and reaches with one hand, his fingertips just barely brushing it. He goes to take another step as Alan has climbed to his feet using the turnbuckles. Alan rushes forward with what strength he can find and hits a dropkick on the ladder. Austin's hand hits the belt and sends it swinging as Austin falls to the mat and the ladder falls the other way. Alan pushes the ladder back closed and goes to Austin, pulling him to his feet. Alan pushes Austin into the corner and assaults him with rights and lefts, Austin fighting back with rights of his own. Austin ducks a punch and rakes Alan's eyes, pulling him in place for a vertical suplex onto the ladder, but Alan blocks. Austin tries again, but Alan still doesn't go over. Alan hits a knee to the midsection and breaks free, pushing Austin into position and hitting a Tiger Bomb onto the ladder. Austin rolls out of the ring. Alan picks up the ladder and sets it up, climbing slowly. Austin fights to get back into the ring and reaches the ladder as Alan gets up to the top. Austin can't get his legs under him, and every move pains his back, but he fights to pull himself up the ladder and starts to rock it back and forth. Alan reaches up and grabs hold of the belt just as Austin knocks the ladder over, and Alan pulls the belt with him as he falls.)
Winner: Alan Mayse.
Tara: Alan gets it, Alan gets the belt! He has retained the FPPVW Championship right here at Sunstroke.
Dick: I can't believe what I've just seen, these two almost killed each other out there.
Tara: I can't believe what I'm about to say, but Austin Lee has nothing to be ashamed of here tonight. He just gave it his all, and like him or hate him, you have to respect what he put himself through tonight for the sake of the FPPVW Championship.
Dick: I have to hand it to Alan, he certainly earned that victory.
Tara: Wow, did you hurt yourself?
Dick: What? There's no way I can look down on a man who gave of himself like that.
Tara: I'm impressed.
Dick: Although...
Tara: Never mind, I'm afraid we're out of time. Thank you for watching this FPPVW DVD event, I'm Tara Fisher for Dick Broccoli, goodbye everyone.
