UFO CHALLENGE |
If you are looking for an excuse to finish all those unfinished projects this is for you. In our guild you sign up and list all your unfinished projects the more the better. For each project depending on its size is assigned a point value (example: 3 points - bed size, 2 points - lap sized, 1 point - wallhanging or placemats). During the show and share portion of the meeting if you have finished one of the projects you show it and say which team you are on. Our teams are: Busy Bees and Birds of a Feather. As of the second meeting in December the teams were almost tied. This challenge ends the first meeting in May with the losing team buying every member of the winning team 2 fat quarters. |

SECRET FRIENDS EXCHANGE |
This fun exchange started in September with a sign-up to take part. In October we were given the name of our secret friend and at the second meeting every month we have been giving our secret friend their gift. The fun part is getting the gift to our friend without them knowing who it is. Come May we will find out who our secret friend is. Some of the things we have been getting are: fat quarters, magazines, quilting accessories, etc. |
