				American Psycho is the story of Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) who by day is a vice president at a large stock brokers who is dissatisfied with aspects of his seemly perfect life, and at night he descends to madness experimenting with fear and violence.  Set in the Regan years where you WERE the money that you earned this sick and twisted thriller excels, right up to the end where it was a fucking dream. OK I did enjoy the film but the ending was atrocious and enough to negate anything good I have to say in its favour, so I would like to suggest that you watch it and if at the end you feel a little disappointed don't say that I didn't warn you. A let down, 3 out of 5
