In case your "audience" thinks "here goes Jack again" when you talk about cancer in prison---

One of the first cases I worked on when I went to work for the ACLU,[was one in which the] prison Medical told the prisoner he had bursitis until the cancer ate through the skin of his chest --- he died in a couple of months.

Through the whole time he lived he, lived in fear because the guards continually threatened to take away the woefully inadequate pain medicine they gave him --- leave him with none at all ---

Pain meds, cancer drugs, must be reordered by the prison docs every 30 days at best. The prisoner with cancer has an appointment to see the doctor. The guard will not open the door to let him keep the appointment. The doctor does not come check on his patient, he simply writes him/her up as refusing the appointment when he or she does not show up and does not refill the meds.

Eventually, in a couple of weeks and after some "screaming" phone calls from activists, family members, and a lawyer if the prisoner has one, the medicine situation is straightened out. In the meantime the cancer has spread because of the break in the medications, and the prisoner has been in unnecessary pain the whole time----

Its all a joke to the "grayshirts", and the whole "game " starts over again.
