I also have ABBEY GRAHAM APPLIANCES. Blessing to them to carry this to the MAX. The Maytag Man, Vance is such a nice man, and although somewhat handicapped, he sometimes works 12-16 days. His right arm sustained injury a while back, and he has very limited range of motion. And then this IDIOT punches him. I would like to hear from some of the inmates at Union CI about "'CORRECTIONAL' OFFICER" Robert D. Foster.

My washer went out, and while the Maytag Man was here yesterday, he told me about recently going to the home of a DOC Guard that works at Union Correctional Institution in Bradford County.

The Guard's refrigerator in his New Home was not working properly, but the Maytag Man did not have Freon with him and told him that he would have to return at a later date with the tools and the Freon.

THE GUARD SUDDENLY COLD-COCKED HIM IN THE FACE, blood went everywhere.

The Maytag Man was holding his tools in the garage, both hands full, and out of the BLUE, he gets slugged. He takes two days off to pursue this, even going to Union CI, and talking to the warden.

The police were called after he left the premises, and it was written up as a misdemeanor assault, because no bones were broken.

Results: It had to go down as a misdemeanor, because if it had been written up as a felony assault, the guard would have to lose his job. Aw, wouldn't that be a terrible loss?

He can't get a lawyer to take the case, no one wants to fight DOC. His only recourse is to put a lien on the guard's house, and when and if he ever sells it, he would be compensated.

Makes you wonder how these guards treat their wives, children, and the rest of society.

I still have not heard back from him, but I will try to get a copy of the police report, and I'm sure he will want it posted.

One thing for sure, that Guard can get his own Freon. Maytag only has three repairmen in the Jacksonville area that they recommend, and I'm sure they're not going out there!

I got the police report last night.

The Maytag Man told me to make as many waves as I can, that he is ready to ride them.

< NARRATIVE > CAD INCIDENT DISPOSITION CODE: I RESPONDED TO A CALL IN REFERENCE TO DELAYED ALTERCATION. UPON ARRIVAL, I WAS MET BY MR. HOFFMAN, WHO ADVISED THIS D/S THAT WHILE HE WAS ATTEMPTING TO REPAIR A HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE, MR. FOSTER BECAME ANGRY TOWARDS HIM AND STRUCK HIM IN FACE WITH HIS HAND. MR. FOSTER, FURTHER ADVISED AS MR. HOFFMAN WAS ATTEMPTING TO LEAVE THE RESIDENCE MR. HOFFMAN TRIED TO CLOSE THE DOOR, AT THIS, MR. FOSTER PUSHED THE DOOR BACK OPEN, STRIKING MR. HOFFMAN IN THE FACE. THIS D/S OBSERVED MR. HOFFMAN BLEEDING FROM HIS NOSE, CHIN AREA, AND BOTTOM LIP. PHOTOS WERE TAKEN AND PLACED IN EVIDENCE.

See, This is the kind of thing I'm talking about when I say that "The Powers That Be" have given guards free rein to act as they choose with very little or no consequences. Where does it end???

I bet if the repair man had just beat the living shit out of this guy---excuse my language---HE would be in jail. Cause my God, we all know guards are honest, law-abiding, citizens that never ever lie!! This makes me sick to my stomach.

Yes PLEASE post this guard's name. And pray to God for his wife & children if he has any, cause they probably don't get much better treatment.

I cannot even express how ANGRY & DISGUSTED I feel right now. You know, you kind of expect people to say, "Oh well it's just an inmate." And that sucks bad & is hard enough to deal with. But we aren't even talking about an inmate here. But when a private tax paying citizen can't get any justice because the assailant was a guard--- how do we deal with that??

And still "THEY" wonder why some of us hold such resentment for guards. God help me, I know it's wrong to hold hatred in your heart, but it is getting harder & harder not to.

I NEED you to pray for me & send me some words of wisdom. Show me a bright side before my heart is so black with resentment & hatred that it can't be fixed.

I have known a few Good Guards myself. Michael Moore just needs a good Weed-Eater, and then he needs to start listening to the TRUTH, and weeding out the BAD. The Warden at Union, in my opinion, is just as guilty for not taking action.

I also want to get my hands on the diary that a recently released inmate kept. The stories he has relayed to me tell about the GOOD & the BAD. The difference in the various Prisons, the Guards, the Wardens, etc. He has told me about maggots in the food, the list goes on and on.

I've been associated with a few "guards" in my life. One was as abusive as his EX-wife claimed he was. He finally got fired from DOC (in 1992-1993), but only after a big scene about his having intercourse on duty at Lowell C.I with a female prisoner!!!

That guards name was K. FREEMAN. The sicko even tried to marry her upon her release from prison and even she was too smart to stay with such an abusive, gnarlish man.

The covenience store I worked in (in N. Florida) carried adult magazines behind the counter. GUESS who two of the best customers were? Two DOC "officers" who were friends of the abusive man who got fired from Lowell CI.!! I recognized one of these men last August 2001 at Marion C.I. I'm sure he's still buying his porn.

My young nephew was a DOC Officer at Hendry C.I. until he realized that was no place for him and he resigned. I'm trying to reach him to get him to "talk" and post on KayLee's site.

YES, many of the DOC employees are ill-tempered, psychotic, loco in the cavesa, walking time-bombs and manipulative. But a few, like my nephew are good men and women with honest intentions that become overwhelmed at the corruptness in the system and leave.
