Tongue Tied

I want to find you in front of my eyes
wash my face in your scented smiles

I want to hold you in my parched hands
bath my limbs with your touch

I want to know your standing here
this sickly solitude imposed, hurts

I want to know who you are?

You  read like a classic
that is velvet bound
you speak like a queen
born with a crown
you write for The Graces
beauty, gentleness and friendship
you are the presence
kissing my lips

Falling upon my head's floor
I wonder what can this be
never have I felt before
but often tried to stand free

Free of all myself
free of the gaps that hide
behind my deceptive voices
because when I think I have
nothing left
to say/write
I grasp my voice
and shake it from its silence
when I look it in the tongue
it spits in my eye and asks
why?

I have nothing left to say
why?
sometimes my thoughts go
for a walk with my voice
but that's when they are speaking
and the agency has work for them
other times my tongue gets in the way

Lyrical groans rumble
in my vocal chamber
the cobwebs are thick
idleness has fed the spider
EXCUSE ME!!
I have work to do
get out of my head

This arachnid di-vision
keeps crawling upon my words
splitting my thoughts
choking my voice
weaving me
without any choice

I once painted a face
it was the face of idle idolization
still, I put it on the wall
looked at it between sleeps
and thought of it in my dreams
one day
it fell from the wall
I left it there

Drifting
my fallen identity cracks a smile
before I go to sleep

I talk a sense
I talk a ...
nonsense
