To my strong sisters living in confusion! |
We are so quick to complain about not having a man We are so quick to wait on his ass We are so quick to say what we won't put up with But yet instill we are looking What are we looking for Is it that man with that nice house on the hill That man with that good credit to buy our material wants That man with the escalade , to drive us in That man with that six figure income You my sister that has said yes to all of this What do you have to offer What kind of house do you live in What does your credit look like And is that a neon I saw you driving What does your pay stub look like Are you still struggling Yeah some of us was taught that we can struggle by ourselves and this is true But me; my sister Give me a man that wants to work with me for that nice house That good credit That escalade That six figure income To become one To learn To grow To share Believe me if it is all his to start What purpose do you serve, other than sex And to settle for that the stronger one, you have belittled yourself for material things that dosn't even belong to you You have become dependent and dibilitated If you don't have it why would you expect him to Instead of looking at what he has try looking at what you can accomplish as a team Because when all fails remember it was never yours to start. |
This was written after I had a conversation with a real good friend of mine that is on that search for Mr. Right . What I didn't understand is how can you look for Mr. Right when you are far from Mrs. Right You can't expect a man to give you the world when you can't give yourself a decent place to lay your head.If you are not the person that you are looking for it is best that you be with someone that wants the same things in life you do. You will realize that Mr. Right was right there he just needed Mrs. Rights help, and vise versa. |
