A Burnt Ship
Flame doth leap,
Catching canvas clawing sky,
Men doth leap,
To sea drowning rather burn,
In water
Watching the ship first to die,
In fire,
Quenching consumption it yearns,
In darkness
Slipping in tears they will drown,
Till stillness
Swallows all in oceans sound.
