Interlude XXXIV
Sit with me and sip your tea
Warm and sweet like you seem to me,
Cast a glance of eye and I will try
To not to ask that terrible why.
Take this red rose to your nose
Smell the scent that beauty knows
Let it see the sights I see
Teach it from your own beauty.
Let us dine beneath moonshine
Your eyes alone will be my wine
Take my hand as we together stand
And go walk into the shadowed land.
Stroll with me let’s go calmly
To face an uncertain reality.
