Morning Beams
Cover me darkness, please hide me away,
Don’t force me to struggle all of the day,
Keep me in darkness, shroud my ugly face,
Make deep the shadows for a hiding place.

Waken me always, keep me from the dreams,
Real is calmer than my fantasies seems,
Weaken my always, night hides my being,
I’ll keep to shadows so no one’s seeing.

Broken in morning, shining through the blinds,
The sun is soul searching with naught to find,
Empty in morning, I’m only a shell,
Sunbeams are bright bars of my self made cell.

Keep me in darkness, lost humanity,
Broken by morning, loath reality.
