Rain Response
Simmering summer steaming
Raindrops sizzle at the very first touch
All about empty what was teaming
Downpour drowns heat that was too much
Blue goes to gray
As night takes over from day
Clash of water to hot pavement
From which all others were sent
Collects the heaven tears in pools
And the darkness slowly cools
Reflections strobe in far off lightening
Dali neon dances in steam shivers
Clouds cease the veil brightening
As the streets end their flow as rivers
Gloom
