Response to Silent Language
My tongue is numb
And my voice is dumb,
When struck by your beauty,
I can’t say the words,
So nothing is heard,
And I just watch quietly.

I just stand in shadow
With no words to borrow,
Unable to express my feeling,
I can’t tell you why
Near you I’m so shy,
But I fear and must be leaving.

Gloom
