Serenity
Serenity the quality or state of being serene; calmness; tranquility; repose.

The bar erupted in crude violence,
With crashing and bashing throughout the place,
A whirling and swirling of disturbance
With angry screams from most every face.

Except two.

The corner table sitting in silence
She sat as he read midst the violence,
Fists swung and bodies clashed in nearness,
Yet none came near to disrupt their calmness
And soon the fight faded from the premise.

No one knew

What caused the fight to quickly develop
Or why those two didn’t get enveloped,
Their calm never wavered despite the brawl,
They maintained a serenity regal.
