Drizzle in the night,
Rain falling in mists so slight,
Hiding all the starlight,
Except for in your eyes.
Drizzles carry on,
The moon could well be gone,
Carried still within our song,
And the melody still flies.
Raindrops falling down,
A crescent moon in your frown,
Eyes cast toward the ground,
As words reach to you;
Sorry starry night,
Shines without its light,
Burning hiding from sight,
There’s nothing we can do.
Then she goes,
Wondering off into gray,
In the night,
From his sight,
Knowing words he could not say
While near her,
Feeling fear
As it binds his heart tightly,
Vital part,
Aching heart,
Emotions burning brightly.
There she goes,
Leaving him with just the gray.
