By the window, watching the night,
Light of the moon, moves on the ground,
Sound of breathing and heavy sigh.

By the window, eyes sparkle light,
Night of waiting, sitting alone,
Home by herself, with heavy sigh.

By the window, ever in place,
Face of her wait, his and her room,
Soon of her hopes, now heavy sigh.

By the window, a lamp burns bright,
Light into dark, through day and night,
Right there to see, showing the way,
Day after Day, time slips away,
Day after day, sigh after sigh.
