In One Century
part II

As she grew,
There were other pains she knew,
Carry on,
Carry on,
Her mother’s toil was heavy;
Against grief,
Was her belief,
She could endure the levy.
Little girl,
Hair a’curl,
Learn mother’s ways of dealing.
As she grew,
Was a woman of feeling.
