CHINESE POETRY

Li Shang-yin
At Gardens
Soul troubled,
Dark falls on day and blossoms;
Spirit fades.

Walking slow,
Long tended lasting gardens;
Approaching.

The sun sets,
Rare and unrivaled splendor;
Beautiful.

And my thoughts
For the night waiting before,
Only night.
