 Song of the Xiang River
River Songs ~ Song of the Mississippi
Retranslated by Professor Gloom

  On the banks,
  The Mississippi rolls by,
  Picnic met,
  At sunset,
  Watching as the eagles fly
  Sending off,
  Seeing off,
  Twilight and then falls moonlight,
  Floating down,
  Carried down,
  Cotton fields of boundless white.
