  Moon and Thoughts of You

 The full moon,
 Has now grown over the sea,
 Brightening
 All heaven
 To where ever hearts may be,
 Under moon.
 Thoughtfulness
 Caught in the long arms of night,
 Is no darker
 If putting the candle out;
 No warmer
 If wearing my cloak about;
 No matter,
 If waiting through to the light;
 Wakelessness.
 My message
 Is left with the rising moon;
 On my screen
 In my dream,
 On moonbeams and the seas tune,
 In passage.
