This letter was like a trumpet-call to begin fearlessly using the "Sword of the Spirit" and to spare no one who is found to be fighting against the true Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We received the following letter when we went online to find out more about the news broadcast we had just seen concerning the WTC destruction.

Letter of September 11, 2001. "Now, after careful reading, research, and studying Scripture, I am convinced that most of what I was taught as Truth is simply NOT TRUE. While this is incredibly PAINFUL to face, and by far the most DEVASTATING news I have ever received, it is also by far the most LIBERATING news! I cannot begin to express the incredible freedom that I am experiencing for the first time in my life!"

Answer by Robertson to the Sept. 11 letter. "In effect, Loren Cunningham believes that God loves him over and above the rest of humanity, and that He will send people to hell if Loren is not properly sanctified and listening to the spiritual being that speaks messages into his mind." September 2001.

These lengthy email correspondences are very revealing about the deceptive spirit that has taken some people captive. I have tried to be very honest and open in my responses, even though sometimes caustic. More than 30 pages of correspondence to the same person are on this page. Includes pertinent information about YWAM, Moral Government Theology, George Otis Jr, spiritual mapping, Basilia Schlink, cultic abuse, etc.

YWAM Numbers There are many stories of abuse in YWAM and even property takeovers, but this is perhaps the first time that anyone has actually sat down and calculated a few financial matters critically. There is absolutely no doubt that there are a lot more dollars coming in than there are souls.

October 1, 2001 "Apparently this reader [the writer is referring to a quote at hearvoce.htm] feels that Otis is teaching witchcraft.  Is it witchcraft?  How should I know that witchcraft is permissible or prohibited for me?" Robertson answers: "The exact rituals, techniques, and beliefs of the new pagan groups vary greatly. But all are concerned with a quest for power and the desire that humans control their own destiny" [a quote from the Evangelical Dictionary of Theology about witchcraft and satanism]. This page includes two letters that Robertson wrote to answer this person's apparently honest question.

October 2, 2001 "Preach the Word of God Mr. Robertson and not yourself or your traditions. cf 2Cor.4:5 When you take God out of the equation (by not using His word) to make a point you are not preaching the Word of GOD but your word." Mr. Robertson seems to be refuted, until he is given time to answer: "Thanks for your letter. I took it very seriously and even lost some sleep over it. Especially the part about me not using Scripture to refute Otis."

October 2b, 2001 The October 2 author writes another angry letter: "It really breaks me up that you would actually put all of this time in to tearing down a ministry that is producing fruit!" Robertson answers: "From your last letter I can see that it is the direct Words of Scripture that impress you the most. Read what God says about false prophets, whitewash, false visions, improper altars, and 'tearing down':"

Correspondence after an attack from Floyd McClung "If McClung is wrong and I was acting as the Lord's spokesman, then YWAM leaders have proven that they are the children of those who killed the prophets, and worse, they are the children of those who crucified the Lord of Glory." This letter tells the truth about what happened in Robertson's 1979 YWAM experience. Written to Dr. Alan Gomes, November 23, 1988.

Letter from a pastor in Hawaii "YWAM could be a great help in the fight for the kingdom if they will just get it together." May 2001.

Robertson corresponds with a  YWAM defender Letter: "I have had nothing but good experiences with YWAM, and if you hadn't noticed, even Christians sin."  Response: "Another thing that most people do not realize about the incident is that the religious leaders depended upon the ignorance of the people to perpetuate their system. But they could not pull-the-wool over the eyes of Jesus. He knew the Scriptures!"  May 2001.

Robertson corresponds with a writer who steps up to bat for YWAM. "Loren points to his upbringing as a training in listening to these voices, even when they led people into serious sin, such as the case of his grandfather." June 2001

Correspondence with a writer who accuses Robertson of twisting Scripture but gives no specific references. "If I have 'twisted theology with my ideas,' please show me a half-an-ounce of Christian love and correct me! One of the main problems with delusion, is that those who have it never think they do!" July 2001
