Yey! Season
3 just started, more Sark~y goodness!!!~ He got a new haircut too, looks like
he'll be playing a bigger role in this season!!
Hello
, this is my dedication page to
the abc series ALIAS airing every Sunday night
9/8c, starring Jennifer Garner
. I LOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEE this series not only because
of Jennifer Garner, but also for its intriguing plot, kick-ass action
sequences, Mr. Sark (David Anders), and of course, all the kewl costumes
that Sydney Bristow (Garner) gets to wear.
What is ALIAS all about? Well, in a nutshell its about Sydney
Bristow, a double agent working for the CIA as well as an organization
posing as a branch of the CIA: SD-6. In the beginning of the series, Syd
reveals to her fiancee that she is part of SD-6 (note that she does not
known yet that SD-6 is NOT part of the CIA), by doing so, Syd breaks the
number one rule of an agent- never tell anyone who you really are. This
causes a chain of events that eventually lead to Danny's (Syd's fiancee)
death, she also finds out that her dad is working for SD-6 as well, and
that SD-6 isn't part of the CIA, rather it is part of a terrorist organization.
Now, Syd works as a double agent, working with the CIA to bring SD-6 down.
(Please note that I left a
LOOOOTTT of details out).
Anywayz, I encourage everyone
to watch this series .....it has action, romance, spies, cute guys
>.< and family issues (I just threw that one in).

ALIAS Declassified - a book containing behind-the-scenes
info about the series as well as detailed info regarding the first season.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Limited copies come with a bonus DVD with a TON
more info and extras in it.
-
ALIAS Recruited- a novel based on the series (This is the
first one and they're making more)
-
ALIAS First Season DVD- Available at amazon.com
-
ALIAS Second Season DVD- Available at amazon.com
-
ALIAS First and Second Season Trading Cards- produced by Inkworks.
Now HERE'S a trading card set that you'd want to complete. Aside from
the 81 basic cards that are available (featuring character profiles, scenes
from the series, Rembaldi Prophecies, etc), there are also a variety
of "chase" cards to collect: Autograph Cards, Piecework cards (3) that
have a little piece of Sydney's costume embedded onto them, Secret Lives
cards (9) or puzzle cards that form a full picture of Syd and all her
costumes; 299 sheets of this puzzle were left uncut and are available
for a higher price ( I thik around US$60+), Double Agent cards that are
heat sensitive, just expose it to heat and a message is revealed, 3 types
of Box Cards that are available 1 per box, and 1 case topper, available
only when you buy a case of the trading cards. Most of these are up on
ebay. However, there is an upside to having all these chase cards; since
most collectors are after them, they (the collectors), in effect, end
up buying a lot of boxes, thus they accumulate the basic cards in the set
and it makes these basic sets cheap. If you go on ebay, you'll see that
most basic sets run from $4 to $8 O_o ...not bad for those who aren't after
the chase cards but don't want to buy a whole box.
-
ALIAS Card Binder- along with the trading cards, this binder
was also released. It has an identical cover
of the box cover, these run for around $14-$16.
-
Other ALIAS stuff: ABC has an ALIAS store up which sells ALIAS
T-shirts, a log book, the ALIAS books, key chains, pins, hats, and even
the trademark red wig that Syd wears in the pilot ep. (I'm not sure if
they still have the wig though). There are also plans on releasing a
Sydney Action Figure
