::General:: A sweetheart, through and through. Nielt has this quiet, gentle air about him, that anyone can sense. It may have something to do with his somewhat withdrawn smile, that he almost always wears, and the way he seems to be paying attention, but from  inside himself. He's surprisingly approachable, and people enjoy being in his presence merely for the serenity that tends to follow him.
His movements are slow and graceful, and everything he does reflects that. He's gentle, adores animals and touches things very lightly, as if they are fragile and might break.
He's big on touch. Not so much with strangers or with people he isn't very close to, but he does like to touch people. He's reserved in that aspect, though, even to friends-- the only exception being his mate, whose chest he loves to lay against, and who he loves to touch. He's particularly fond of running his hands through Grey's hair, and putting his hands on Grey's back for a few minutes at a time.
His calm quiet air and the intuitive people-sense he appears to possess make him an excellent search rider, and his efforts, combined with that of his rider's, make them an excellent pair.
Nielt is often cute, as well. He's somewhat shy, though notably less so if his dragon is around him, and he can be surprisingly naive at times-- and surprisingly un-naive at other times. Being a selkie, he's fond of water, and will go out of his way to swim at least once a day, though he does prefer being in his human form.

::Former Location:: Danach
::If Relevant:: Searched out and brought to Danach, he lived most of his life fairly normally in a small, out of the way world. That changed when he was brought to Danach and impressed Ranagadanith, and it changed once again when the shaman of mindspace paid a visit to his then-home, looking for souls compatible with her world, to transfer. He was found such and offered a chance to transfer to mindspace, which he did.

::General:: What's surprising is that RAnagadanith picked Nielt for a lifemate. Somewhat egoistic and vain, Rana can be a downright asshole if he's in the right kind of mood, and he'll usually do it playfully, too, regardless of what anyone else says or wants. He holds it back only slightly for his lifemate, but otherwise he does and says what he wants, when he wants to say and do it, and that usually entails playfully teasing people. To his credit, though, he does know the limits of other people, and doesn't usually cross them. While most see him as a strutting asshole, he has his moments-- he's calm and enjoys quiet time with his bond, for instance, and anyone he actually feels close to. He's also a surprisingly good search dragon, having an odd sense of people and who'd be perfect for what clutch.

((Though nielt finds it find of unnerving to call this sentient creature a pet, Mass has no problem with it-- hell, she loves it, particularly because nielt is everything she's looking for in an owner-- cuddly, affectionate, and plenty giving with food and grooming-attention. She loves being brushed, petted, and generally cuddled with, and therefore she gets along well with Neilt's other pets, who are always open to cuddles if nielt is not.))
