::General:: Kirins have long been considered good luck amongst various Asian cultures, and that he resembles such a noble creature has gone to his head. Already vain over his appearance, his bearings only increase the effect, as does the fact that people tend to adore him because, not only is he shiny and cute and kirin-like, but he's small enough to stand on their shoulder. He's constantly plagued by people who wish to keep him as a companion, which only boosts his ego and self image.
He's an independent being; the idea of being someone's companion doesn't necessarily fill him with disgust, but it's something he's decided just isn't for him-- and thusly he turns these people down, which only makes him more imperious in his own eyes. As can be expected, this little rukel is a vain, egoistic monster-- but he's not nasty about it. He has a stuck-up attitude and every comment he makes is, of course, coloured with his high opinion of himself, which can be quite obnoxious-- but he doesn't deliberately rub it into people's faces, nor does act nasty to people just because [he thinks] he's better than them. He's actually quite sweet, when you get over his over-inflated ego.
Tamanit is fond of the ladies, go figure, and also a shameless flirt, when the opportunity presents itself.
