We visited the front lines, trenches, and underground tunnel systems used during the first and second world wars. They are located in the north of France (Vimey Ridge is the name of the hill). It is actually Canadian territory as it was offered to Canada from the people of France.
This is the monument in honor of the Canadian soldiers who died fighting in the war.
