Mike Interview's the guys (and gal!) from the Vexed!

March 24th - 2004.
Dusty's note: Mike did the interview with each member the Vexed serperately, so there are a few questions everyone answered the same to and don't really need repeating. I figured I would throw all that stuff in before the interview itself. So without further ado...

The Vexed are:

Kyle Disposal - Yelling
Kate78 - Bass
Mike Magic Tricks - Guitars
Mike Wood- Guitars
Andy Offbeat - Drums

The Vexed Website:

Merch:
T-shirts, buttons, stickers, and a 7-inch split on the way!

And now onto the interview!

Mike: Who came up with the band name, and how did it coem about?
Kyle: I did. I'm pissed about something most of the time, so it seemd fitting.
Kate: Kyle did, he is vexed all the time.
Andy: Kyle did, but it's kindof funny, because before I knew anyone in this band, I was in a band (sortof) called Vexer.

Mike: How did the band start up?
Kyle: It was originally a concoction of original guitarist and Magic tricks.
Kate: A long soap opera.
Andy: Good Question...
Wood: The old guitarist spazzed out a lot and neededto be replaced. I didn't spaz so much so the group picked me up. That's the story so far.

Mike: Have any of you been in previous bands? If so, which ones?
Kate: I played bass in a group called the hard panties.
Andy: "Deus Ex Machina", "Everybody's Grudge" and "Chopper Dave"

Mike: what's the best thing about being in a band?
Kyle: There's something good about being in a band?
Kate: Losing so much money on it!
Andy: Definately the bitches ... well, I wish I could say that! Im, I guess it would have to be being able to go crazy playing music.
Wood: For me, it's all about getting on stage and busting my balls wide open. Theres' no other aspect of being in a band that beats watching a bunch of kids fling themselves into a a circle pit while we do our thing!

Mike: What's up in the future for the Vexed?
Kyle: Perhaps more internal drama?
Kate: I would like to take over the world, but doubt that will happen.
Andy: I plan to get a new drumset to rock on. That'll be fun.
Wood: Tenative plans to hit the East coast this summer, and get enough of our stuff recorded for an EP. After that, who knows?

Mike: Any last words or plugs you would like to make?
Kyle: Make sure to check the website for when the record is available. Youll be able to buy it online!
Kate: Buy stuff at shows so we can fix up our van (the S.S. Janky), it's falling apart as we speak.
Andy: Big-ups to Facer Canceler and Death Will Come. Live fast and eat Jade Garden. Later Mates!
Wood: We came to rock your face!
