DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
This is a true "leftover GW fig" army. I bought a few units of the VERY old GW Hobgoblins (before they had associations with Chaos Dwarfs) and never did anything with them besides the painting bits. The Hobhounds are from an old unfished Chaos army. The Ogres might have been with the Hobgoblins, who can tell 10 years later? And the Shaman is a conversion off of a second Hobgob Standard Bearer.
But this IS the "other" demo army, meant to oppose my Wood Elves. So it does serve a purpose. It actually has more "bad going" elements than the Wood Elf army does. So it will have to be seen which works out better.
STATUS
The army is fully painted (has been since about 1990) and merely needs the bases suitably gravelled and flocked.
