DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
This army came about in a really strange fashion: I was placing an order to Wargames and needed some filler to boost the cost f my stuff so I could get my discount and free shipping and all that stuff. So I ordered a batch of dwarfs. The Essex dwarf line has mounted troops available, Speardwarfs, the whole nine yards, but I had been thinking a lot lately about a Spear/Blade army. So here you have it. At the time of this writng, my primary oppostion is a Spear/Behemoth army and a Knights army (no, not completely, but those are the core combinations.) So time will tell if this is a viable army or not.
STATUS
19jan2002: finished prepping and priming the remainder of the army. Now I only need to actually paint it and base it!
12jan2002: finished painting the Blade General.
5oct2001: A bunch of metal models in a drawer somewhere, awaiting things like cleaning up and priming...
